Our code inspector said it was one of the nicest egress windows he's ever seen. Work was done quickly and he kept everything super clean while doing the work.

Mike from MC Home Improvements came out to the house to discuss our options for installing a basement egress window. He was extremely knowledgable and very personable with whom to discuss the project, offering suggestions that were helpful and answering questions about the installation of an egress window and all the considerations that go into it. He showed me photos of other egress windows he had completed, as well as the types of materials that would go into construction of the egress. The egress window installation itself was smoothly and professionally accomplished, and was completed in just one day (allowing a following day for some minor touch-ups to the inside basement). The finished product was outstanding, met all my expectations and has transformed the basement, not only offering an escape in the event of a fire, but also giving more light to the basement and an aesthetic appeal as well. Additionally, for installation of the egress Mike had procured the necessary permit from the town, and therefore the project has been completed according to code. I would definitely recommend both an egress window and MC Home Improvement in the future!
