Prompt and Professional show up on time good work I was very pleased

The "pro" didn't have any diagnostic or people skills. His idea of diagnosing the problem was to swap out parts until he could get the fireplace to light. He never used a volt meter to check the electronics before replacing the thermopile with a $47.00 part (checked the part on Amazon while he was here and he got very agitated). His charge for the 10 mins he spent installing a part we didn't need was $275.00. He proceeded to argue with us about the cost of the new thermopile that DIDN'T fix our fireplace so we insisted that he reinstall the original part or cut the price in half, which he agreed to. We had absolutely no confidence in his ability to assessed the problem and fix it and just wanted him to leave. His abrasive personality was disturbing and having read his responses to previous negative reviews we expect him to refer to us as unreasonable people. We would NOT recommend Loyalty Heating & Cooling to anyone having problems with their gas fireplace.

They contacted me within half an hour of my HomeAdvisor query. I contacted others, but felt good about Loyalty. They showed up on time, were clean and their work was clean and professional. He told me what he was doing and why, made some money-saving suggestions and gave me the information I needed to take advantage of a $50 rebate. I've already scheduled next year's furnace maintenance and if I need emergency help, I have his business card on my 'fridge'.

I put in a request first thing in the morning and got a call back within five minutes. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

My ratings reflect the fact that I have never had a gas furnace before now (always had electric heat) and therefore lack any experience in dealing with this type of service. They did the job for a reasonable price and I purchased a service contract.
