Excellent work!!

Very outgoing and kind person. He was the first person to contact me and had the job done right away. Very pleased with his services and his reasonable prices would recommend him to anyone due to the fact he had covered everything with plastic. Can’t wait to start the next project with him. He even worried about my allergies to dust.

I am not okay with a contractor or anyone for that matter, calling me a chink(extremely racist) and a cunt. I hired John to do some drywall work on some of the dining room and some small areas of the living room. It was supposed to take M-F. He worked Monday and Tuesday without incident. On Wednesday morning I texted John and asked him if he would mind not wearing cologne because I was hypersensitive to smells. I told him there was an overpowering smell still lingering in my house. He told me that he did not wear cologne and that his girlfriend was the same way.. allergic to cologne and perfume. He said that it was probably the laundry detergent. The texts went on a little more on trying to figure out the smell and the conclusion was that it was the detergent because he told me to smell the sheets on the floor. Anyway, fast forward to his arrival at 1020am. Within a few minutes of being in my home, he starts yelling at me, I do not appreciate you accusing me of wearing faking cologne. I was in shock and it did not stop there. I told him that I did not accuse him. I thought the overpowering smell was cologne, understandably. He had been dating someone for the past few months and, I had noticed a few changes. Why would not I think his girlfriend bought him cologne? Anyway, I brought this up, and I apologized, and I did everything to try to de-escalate it but nothing was working. I told him I would not tolerate his abuse and told him he could leave. Then he called me a chink which is a very derogatory and racist term. I am 1/2 Japanese, btw. I said, Wow, so you are a racist. That is not going to look good on your reviews. His reply? C***! That is when my protector kicked in and my fight or flight response. I called him a name and told him to get TF out of my house. I should not have to feel threatened, be verbally abused, or be racially attacked. AND IN MY OWN HOME! I hired him back in October and did not have any issues except having to repair a couple of areas after he left. (He did offer to come back to repair those areas). I never would have rehired him if I had known he could snap like that, and for no reason. And because of what happened, I am very hesitant about hiring another contractor to finish this job because I am afraid of coming across someone like him again.

I was very happy with John and he showed up every day and worked very hard. He worked by himself.

After dealing with all the no show contractors John was a pleasure to hire. I had waited 4 months for another contractor to show before I gave up and started; looking for another one. Within an hour after contacting Homeadvisor John called me back. He showed up to look at the job and was hanging drywall the next day. Three days later the job is complete and perfect. Better than I had expected. John is a true craftsman, and if you hire him, you will be more than pleased with the job. There is a reason that he has so many 5 star rating. He deserves them!

Jon did great work, more than he was hired to do. He left the work area cleaner than it was when he got there. He was also very accommodating when we had to make a last minute change to the schedule.

Jon did an excellent job hanging and finishing all of the drywall in our basement. He has decades of experience, outstanding work ethic and is a man of his word. From start to finish (even during the estimate process and materials order), he goes above and beyond to ensure that all aspects of the job meet his high standard of excellence. He will be the first person that I call for any future drywall projects.

Miserable.

I hired Jon to complete our basement project. Jon is a true professional. His work is top quality and second to none! He is an expert drywall installer and finisher. He is meticulous in his work, he is friendly and honest. He is a man of his word, always punctual, works hard, and completed the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him for any drywall job. The final project turned out excellent! He also always cleans up after himself and left the project spotless.

Jon is extremely experienced with his craft. Itâ  s absolutely amazing to see the finished product, and itâ  s incredibly evident that he is a perfectionist. I would hire him again in a heartbeat, since I know the job will be completed on time and done well. His cleanup is also astounding.

Very professional! Showed up each day at the time we had agreed upon, cleaned up each and did a special cleaning when the job was finished. Workmanship was THE BEST! You will not be disappointed when you hire John to do your drywall project. If I need drywall work done in the future I will definately call John.

Once again Jon has saved the day by repairing drywall after wallpaper removal. He is very talented in his trade, reasonable, and takes great pride in this work. This was our second time using his services.

I cannot say enough good things about John and his work. He is one of the few remaining guys that actually takes pride in his work and makes sure it is perfect every time since his name is on it. He will make sure it is done correctly no matter how long it takes and will not charge more. Shortcuts are not an option with him nor is good enough. He installed new drywall in 2 rooms, a new ceiling in the Master and did multiple mud coats on a large living room where we scrapped the old texture off. EVERYTHING is beautiful. Edges and corners are sharp, as hard as I try to find an imperfection I am having a hard time doing so. His work is so nice, my fiancee now sees how messed up other parts of our house are now after comparing to what john does. Also, when John tells you what a room needs to be done correctly, please make sure to listen. He is actually making sure you understand what it truly needs to be perfect and is not trying to up sell you. After we scrapped the texture off our living room ceiling, he said we would need 3 coats to properly cover it all and make it smooth. I was hesitant at first but boy did I learn a lesson. The first coat is a filler coat where it helps to hide imperfections and begin to establish level. The second coat continues building on the base and bringing everything level. The final 3rd coat is a thin coat that truly helps to make it level. Our ceiling is beautiful and I could not believe it could look like it does. People that tell you it can be done in one coat are not telling you the whole truth. so take caution. John will be the only drywaller that will work on our house or any future houses. If anyone ever needs a reference, I told John they can call me and I would be happy to share our experience or even show them his work in our house. i never thought our rooms could look the way they do.

Highly recommend!

John Miller is a one man show and did a phenomenal job. He hung, taped, mudded and sanded a 12x12 playroom for us. He came and checked out the job and was very fair with his price (I received multiple quotes). Ultimately we went with John because of his previous reviews and his work ethic. He showed up on time every day and left his phone in his truck because our job was his priority, not fielding other calls during the work day. Beyond this, he spent time to explain and even teach me what he was doing because I was interested. He was clean and laid down tarps throughout the house in an effort to keep the project clean. John was thorough and professional. I was pleasantly surprised how he double taped each connecting piece of drywall. The job looks great and I can't wait to start painting and enjoying our newly renovated bedroom.

He was outstanding went above and beyond. The job was greater than originally thought and he completed the work without charging me extra. Besides drywall repair he painting and replaced my trim too.. So impressed by him would give him 100 stars.
