Description of Work: supplied and installed a new sump pump, a backup pump and system. provided a new water supply to a new sink in a basement bathroom, provided a novel drain from the sink through the wall of the shower since no drain for the sink existed and I didn't want to dig up the floor to get one, and installed a bath faucet to the sink and sealed the sink to the cabinet base. He also provided and replaced a shut off and supply to the first floor toilet. I've used him before and will again should I need plumbing done.

+ -1 moreA friend gave us Scott's number (663-6097) and suggested we call him to do the work. Scott was very responsive, pleasant and flexible. The regulator replacement took about 20 minutes and then he checked out a couple of questions we had regarding other plumbing issues. He was very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend him and would have no reservations about asking him to do other work for us in the future.
Description of Work: Our hot water heater was leaking from the pressure relief valve. The water company came and determined that our pressure regulator had failed and the excess pressure was causing the leak. The house pressure regulator needed to be changed.

Description of Work: Needed to replace the shower faucet mixer valve. Scott came replaced it with a temporary one, until we could get a replacement one (under warranty) from the manufacturer. Scott provided all info needed when I talked to the manufacturer. Once it arrived Scott came back replaced it. Excellent service !

Description of Work: My hot water heater sprung a leak (15 years old.) Scott came out the same day and installed a new one. We also had a slow running gray water drain pipe and he used a snake to clean it out. The drain now works great. It's so nice to deal with someone local and not part of a large chain.

Description of Work: I had several plumbing issues address. Scott replaced a spigot in the backyard. He installed a new faucet in the kitchen. He replaced the mechanics in the toilet and, cleared the drain in the bathroom sink. The cost was because the old home owners did little to no maintenance and upgrades and every job took him longer because of rust and other unforeseen problems.

+ -1 moreRepairman arrived at scheduled time. Work was done quickly, broken parts were replaced and sink and tub were left clean. I also received an estimate for a new outdoor faucet which I plan to have done next spring. I've used this plumber several time before (drain cleaning, faucet repair, toilet repair) and have always been happy with his work. I will continue to use this company in the future.

+ 0 moreScott was here just under an hour and cleaned the basin drain with electric rooter and replaced the trap and something (illegible on receipt) for basin drain. He was here within 20 minutes of my placing the phone call to him. The drain seems to be working fine now. This is what appears on the receipt: Rooter fee: 7.50; Materials: 43.70; Service Call: 102.50; Total including tax: 166.00. I was somewhat undecided about whether to rate the price as good or fair but decided to go with good because although I think the price is high, it is not out of line with other companies.
Description of Work: Cleaned clogged basin drain and replaced trap.

+ -1 moreJohn D Foy Plumbing set up the appointment for one week later. I was having a pool put in so I needed this to be done first and it was all completed in about 3 and 1/2 hours. Tony came out and got the job done. He was very good and I would recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: I had John D Foy Plumbing come out to fix 2 outside faucets that were really old, install a new toilet, a regulator, fix a sink, and put washers in all of my sinks, just because they were there.
