It’s part of the warranty, but I did have to pay for a filter and a part. My contract is $150 for twice. The filter was $61.03 & then the capacitor, the whole thing was $139.96. One worker came. He was professional, informative and impressive. Left area clean. Graded “B” overall, because of the price. That was a little more than I expected.

We had a little problem getting the right fan in here but other than that, it was terrific. I will absolutely use them again. They put a great unit in there that we're very pleased about. It's working well and saving us some money on fuel. It's very quiet which is nice.

I was very pleased with the whole process. I vetted four other contractors, all offering about the same product, High Efficiency, Variable speed. But my salesman, Jason, was really patient with me as it took me several weeks before I made my decision. I did about 20 hours of research, on the contractors ( Reputable names, you would know), the make and model of the furnace and also the cost factors. I had an Energy audit done by John Betlam and that went well. But they were the only contractor to mention the NYSERDA program and I qualified for some funding. That was a huge bonus!! I started my search in August and finally made my decision by the end of September. I chose October 12 for the date of the installation, and the weather was still mild.
Everything went smoothly with the install. They arrived at 8:00. I received a confirmation call the day before and both installers ar Lanny and Jeff., arrived promptly. They were professional, and explained everything as they went along.
I had a good experience with John Betlam and would highly recommend them to family and friends. Their long standing reputation and trusted name were two more reasons I chose this company,
