The technician Ben was great. Very thorough and explained things as he went along and also kept me updated with pricing.

Showed up on time, analyzed problem in a short time. Had parts needed at company. Returned 30 minutes later and replaced motor and did diagnostics on efficiency.

From the date of the estimate to the actual installation everything was great. Very professional group. Some of the nicest people as far as contractors I have had in my house. Betlem sent Todd out within 4 hours who installed a new pump on the boiler and repaired the furnace. He had all the parts in his truck and was very knowledgeable both units now work better than they ever did.

Follow-up inspection was timely and identified two issues needing correction, and that work was immediately addressed and completed.

My boiler died on a Thursday morning the first time I tried turning it on for the cold weather this year. I called John Betlem that morning and they were able to get someone out to give me an estimate the same day and then schedule an install for the following Tuesday. A friend had them install a furnace last year and only had good things to say about them. The guys showed up when they said they would and were very professional and friendly. They worked very diligently at my project that took most of the day. They did a great job and everything was clean when they were finished. They also took the time to explain everything well and answer all my questions.

That was last year when my furnace stopped working. That was a little expensive, that was $5,000.

I have a service contract and we use them for the air conditioning and the furnace. They have an inspection that they follow. They checked it out and cleaned up the air conditioning on the outside and off they went. They're just on time and they're very personable. They come in and do the job and take off. They do an excellent job. It's just a good company, that's all. I looked at various other companies when I had the furnace put in. It sounds like I'm on their payroll, but it's true!

Good, clear explanation of what was available and what to expect during installation. Professional crew who worked well together - they had a tight space to work in since we have a finished basement, and were very careful to do the removal of the old equipment and installation of the new without any damage to the finished basement. They explained the operation of the new equipment clearly and made sure it was working properly - they followed up a few days later to make sure all was well. We are very pleased, and are happy to recommend them.

They are very nice and reliable. I have a lot of faith and trust with them. Their pricing also seems reasonable.

It’s part of the warranty, but I did have to pay for a filter and a part. My contract is $150 for twice. The filter was $61.03 & then the capacitor, the whole thing was $139.96. One worker came. He was professional, informative and impressive. Left area clean. Graded “B” overall, because of the price. That was a little more than I expected.

We had a little problem getting the right fan in here but other than that, it was terrific. I will absolutely use them again. They put a great unit in there that we're very pleased about. It's working well and saving us some money on fuel. It's very quiet which is nice.

They did the job and I have nothing bad to say about it.

I was very pleased with the whole process. I vetted four other contractors, all offering about the same product, High Efficiency, Variable speed. But my salesman, Jason, was really patient with me as it took me several weeks before I made my decision. I did about 20 hours of research, on the contractors ( Reputable names, you would know), the make and model of the furnace and also the cost factors. I had an Energy audit done by John Betlam and that went well. But they were the only contractor to mention the NYSERDA program and I qualified for some funding. That was a huge bonus!! I started my search in August and finally made my decision by the end of September. I chose October 12 for the date of the installation, and the weather was still mild. Everything went smoothly with the install. They arrived at 8:00. I received a confirmation call the day before and both installers ar Lanny and Jeff., arrived promptly. They were professional, and explained everything as they went along. I had a good experience with John Betlam and would highly recommend them to family and friends. Their long standing reputation and trusted name were two more reasons I chose this company,

Mr. Betlem came out and was able to figure out exactly what we need. He was very professional and got an estimate to us the next day. We will definitely move forward with project in a few months.

These installers were efficient, affable, familiar with the work, got it all done in one day. There's one small detail which I need to have them change, a detail I should have dealt with that day. Once it's done, I'll remove this sentence. I love this company and will always use them for any A/C or heating issues. I've used them for 15 years and appreciate their professionalism. They hire quality people. The salesman I've dealt with on two occasions (gas fireplace and this installation) explains things clearly and is very professional in his approach.

I think they're very honest and they're very quick to tell us that when their service say but their not pushy to sell us anything. I would use them again in the future.
