HIGH FALLS TREE SERVICE

It went very well. This is the third time that I’ve had them do work for us. In the past, they have removed two trees on two different occasions. Today’s job was to remove low hanging and dead limbs, and limbs overhanging the roof. They also removed three dead small trees along the property line and trimmed back vegetation along the utility lines. They also cleared out weed trees growing in the shrubbery. The three-man crew cleaned up and were done in about three hours. Very professional! Compared to other tree services, High Falls is very good deal!!!

This is the second job they have done for us. We are very pleased with the service and the crew-polite, respectful and professional. They are very busy so it took a while for them to get back to us. They are worth the wait. The tree was taken down on a Monday and the stump was ground two days later.

First of all a real person answered the phone, never a given. The crew arrived the next day and figured out how to take the tree off the house and out of the attic. This was a difficult job considering the side of the tree, the location of the house, and the wet ground. They did the job quickly and with as little collateral damage as possible. The tree parts were neatly piled by the road. It was a good ending to a bad situation.

They picked up the phone! They promised to be there and they came in less then 12 hours. The job was a mess - huge tree, damage to the roof, house surrounded by trees. It was not an easy removal project, but they did it quickly and with as little collateral damage as possible It was fantastic!

Had received a quote from them in Aug of 2014. Called them May of 2015 and asked if they could use the same quote. They said yes, and stated they could come out in 2 - 3 weeks to perform the service. At that point I told them that the neighbors would like the limb that hangs over their yard removed if possible, but if it wasn't good for the tree they didn't have to do it, they said they would check it out. They also agreed to call the night before they were coming out. After 3 weeks, we didn't hear from them so I called them. They didn't return the call, after 1 week I I called again and asked them to let me know if they planned to come out or if I needed to get another company. They returned the call and said they were behind d/t the rainy weather. Within a few weeks they called us and said they were coming that same day and to let them know if that was a problem - we were at work and didn't get the message. They came to trim the trees, the back gate was locked because we didn't know they were coming. They broke into the back yard by manipulating the latch on the gate. They moved various items in the back yard and got sawdust and other debris in the pool. They didn't adequately clean up the back yard or replace the items that were moved. One of our hydrangeas was killed as well. In the front yard, they removed every single branch 3/4 of the way up the 2 trees that line the driveway. We were very unhappy with the result of those trees, see the attached before and after pictures. The quote was to trim deadwood and prune for health and structure. When we called and voiced our concern they stated that because we wanted the limb removed over the neighboring yard they needed to remove all the other limbs. This was not something that had to be done, and since the work the trees look barren and the look and feel of the house is completely changed. They did come out to the house and explain the work that they did. They offered to fertilize the front trees and dig up and cut a root from another tree that they said was being strangled by the root. After thinking about it we called them and said we didn't feel that we should have to pay for the 2 trees that we didn't feel were appropriately pruned. It was a difficult conversation, we didn't feel that they handled it well, but finally relented to the price we said we were willing to pay. They said they would re-bill us and would 'expect prompt payment'. Poor customer service overall.

They were recommended by friends for the good work that was done for them. They were the fastest of a number of tree removal companies to provide a fair and quick estimate. There were many storms this year and so they didn't get here as quickly as I would have liked, but when they did come they were fast, friendly, efficient and hard working. They cleaned up as they went along and did a great job. I will have them back this winter to remove another 100 year old tree. They recommended that in order to not damage the garden around the tree to wait until the ground was frozen to bring in the heavy equipment. What a great suggestion! I don't think you could find better tree "guys" in this region.

Excellent. Called a while ago but with Summer storm damage in the area, we understood it would take some time to get to us. Did a great job. Would definitely call again.

High Falls Tree Service responded within 24 hours to my request for an estimate. I scheduled the work and they were onsite within days. They removed an enormous tree that had been blown down in a storm, cleaned up debris, and ground down the stump. They cleaned up the work area after they were done. They are prompt, courteous, and professional. I would definitely use them again.

They are wonderful. They are very competent, punctual, and knowledgeable. They clean up really well after the work.

They did an excellent job and their price was much lower than the other estimate I received. Very professional and cleaned up afterwards. Would use them again.

They removed everything including the stump. They were very careful because the tree was against the house. They did a very nice job. They worked with me and what I wanted done. They were very nice people.

Overall, the job went well. It only took them about 1 1/2 to complete the job and they cleaned the yard of all debris. I would recommend and use again.

The entire job went off without a hitch.They removed several 8 to 10" branches which were lowered to the ground without lawn damage.I was very impressed with the obvious friendship among the three workers. Nobody stood and watched. They all helped each other. Our three neighbor's yards were cleaned and there was almost.no trace that they had been here. I was very pleased.

They were $400-$600 higher than the company we used. The guy was very knowledgeable but very pricey.

I had used these guys once before when I lost an enormous limb in an ice storm. The tree limb that I needed removed for this job was routine. I know not everyone likes this, but I do. When they came out to give me the estimate on the limb, they also walked around and looked at my other trees. This led to the much bigger, more expensive, job of trimining several very large trees. They always tell me ahead of time exactly what they are going to do and if they do something different, they explain why. They brought a crew of three or four with a supervisor. They worked quickly and my driveway was actually cleaner after they left.

I called several tree surgeons in the area. Some would not come out to the town where I live, while others came out and gave only oral (not written) estimates. Though High Falls Tree Service's estimate was about $100 more than two other companies', I went with them because of the written estimate. When I called to schedule the service, they said it might take a couple of weeks for them to be able to come out, but they came within a few days (and called the evening before to let me know). Three men came out to remove the tree. They showed up at exactly the time they promised and removed the tree in an hour. I was concerned that they were not wearing eye or hearing protection, but they seemed to know what they were doing. They were professional and friendly, and they even took a look at some trees in my backyard and advised me to wait until spring to make decisions about trimming them back.

I called what seemed like every tree service provider in Rochester. High Falls got back to me right away, and got out to my house to give me the estimate. They were definitely had the best price and they were wonderful to work with. They did not grind out as much as I would have liked on one of the stumps, and they came right back to fix it. My husband and I offered to pay before that, but they insisted we be happy with the job before paying. It was very refreshing to work with such a customer service driven company.

They were great. They had one of the really large bucket trucks for doing the trimming, the owner was nice to come out and see how everything was going, they were very professional.

High Falls Tree Service was quick and thorough. The service guys were informative, and the job was completed in one day. I would refer them to others.
