THANK GOD for Kevin and his wonderful team of hard working individuals. ?We had Kevin out last summer for some indoor painting and were impressed and very happy with his work ethic and prompt response. ?When we needed to stain the outside of the house to get it ready for selling there was no doubt who we would call. ?Fortunately we were able to book him before he got too busy. Our house looks amazing, not only that but Kevin and his workers showed up on Saturday??and Sunday, I didn't even expect that. ?I could write page after page of how impressed we are with Kevin, but his reviews are all anyone needs to read.. The whole team was so. amazing and professional, Chico, Al, ...and I apologize for not remembering the other guys names. But they were amazing workers, cleaning up everything they did at the end of the day, and never complained about all the trips they had to make to Home Depot for me! ?I let Kevin pick the colors he wanted to us for inside of house because I knew he would know exactly what to buy and of course he did. Also, the quality of paint was amazing, they don't mess around with some of those cheaper brands of paint, they get the best paint that covers so beautifully ( thank you Sherwin Williams) Anyone who gets to book these guys before they are swamped with work are exceptionally lucky, you can't go wrong, also their pricing is more than reasonable, don't bother calling anyone else, these are the best painters on Angies List!?

Great job. I had my kitchen completely painted. Lots of trim work, ceilings, doors, big bay window (it's a big kitchen), plus a ceiling in my living room. The job was completed on time, and was very high quality. The painters were very professional, and polite. I had to work while this was done, and I was very comfortable leaving them alone in my home. They cleaned up nicely after the end of the job. I highly recommend their services.

It was a truly excellent experience working with Kevin. I usually do my own painting but I don't have the equipment to deal with really high ceilings and walls, especially ones on staircases, so I collected about 5 quotes. Kevin's was not only the most reasonable, he was the friendliest and easiest to work with on the quote. He listened very well, discussed types & finishes of paint with me, included the paint costs in his estimate, provided the quote promptly, worked well around my schedule, and explained his process clearly. It was very convenient to just give Kevin my paint selections so he could provide it. He always called or texted to keep me updated, especially on arrival times. He and his associate worked quickly, were very professional but also very personable, and took great pains to keep everything neat at every step of the process. They painted the cathedral ceilings in the living room and above a staircase to the lower level that is open to the kitchen, plus three walls in the living room, the fireplace mantel, and two walls of the open-floor plan staircase -- one color for the ceilings & mantel, a second for the living room walls and a third for the stairwell. While I moved nearly all furnishings and decor out of the way, they still had to move a heavy wall unit and 3-piece sectional, which they also put back exactly right when done, making sure they vacuumed well before doing so. Though I had previously had another firm in to do ceiling and wall repairs in the areas to be painted, Kevin did find a few minor spots that he felt needed work while he was prepping, and he fixed those with no additional charge. Had I known of Kevin earlier, I'm sure I would have had him do the drywall work as well. I'm fairly picky about quality and I was extremely pleased with the finished product. The job took a full day and a few hours the next. Though I took off work to make sure I was there to oversee the process, I was so comfortable with Kevin and his associate that at the end of the first day I felt confident enough to leave for a meeting and had them clean and lock up for the day on their own. Kevin was competent and conscientious, and there were no surprises. Also, knowing that I was going to continue painting the rest of the ceiling and walls in the more reachable areas, Kevin went above-and-beyond to make the job much easier for me; he generously extended his painting and cut-in areas so I could more easily continue, left the drop-cloths and leftover paint for me in an orderly pile, offered some valuable painting tips...AND EVEN HUNG A LARGE PIECE OF ARTWORK on the stairwell at my request because it was in such an awkward space to maneuver! Then, when I needed additional paint to finish my portion of the rooms, his paint supplier even extended a professional discount to me (at no prompting) because it was a continuation of Kevin's job. I couldn't be happier with my selection of Kevin Herington and I would definitely hire him again. I'm thinking of getting him to do a quote for my business when we're ready to do some facility updates. I am pleased to be able to strongly recommend Kevin to anyone. -- Donna

We met a few painters but Kevin stood out with his professionalism and thorough explanation of what he and his crew would be doing so we eagerly hired him for the job. Work was done very efficiently and right on schedule. Several sections of the walls and molding required a good deal of work to be ready to paint and they turned out beautifully. The ceiling and some of the molding has water damage from the previous owner and now they are pristine. The cleanup was thorough and with two small children that was very important to us. We left a key for Kevin and Chico to work uninterrupted and lock up when they were done for the day and it all worked out very well. Communication was very good too.

Kevin and Chico are awesome!! Our master suite from when we built our house was still primer and nail holes and unfinished trim because when we built our house my husband opted to do the painting. After 2.5 years, this being unfinished was driving me crazy to say the least. Knowing my husband was going on a trip, I decided to surprise him and get the painting done in the bedroom and bathroom while he is gone. I called Kevin a few weeks ago to fill him in and he was happy to accomodate my surprise, which included a very short window to get the job done! He came out for an estimate Saturday 11/28, we scheduled the work to begin on 12/1 and here I am at 2:30 PM on 12/2 with what feels like a brand new oasis in my home! I am simply ecstatic! When Kevin came in for the estimate I explained what I was looking for, and he helped me make my final wall and trim color/sheen selections based on the room size, light, ceiling height, backsplash, etc. He gave me a recommendation on the paint I should use and the reason why it would be the best for that space. I could tell right away I was working with a true expert and I felt more than comfortable making the decision to have Kevin come into my home to complete the work. Kevin & his partner Chico arrived on time each morning and were extremely courteous while doing their work. They moved the furniture, kept everything completely clean as they went and took very special care of our belongings when clothes or other items needed to be moved. When finishing the job, they even took the time to install the new outlet covers and switch plates I had purchased, which were in a bag in the garage! I hadn't even told them they were there, let alone asked them to do that, and to me it is little finishing touches like this that make all the difference in the world when it comes to fantastic service. 12/3 Update: As Chico was wrapping things up for the day yesterday we were chatting, and he realized that he hadn't remounted two of the curtain rod brackets. Without any hesitation, in the pouring rain, Chico went back out to his truck to get his ladder and took care of it within minutes. Again, those little details are so important! Thank you Chico!! Look no farther if you are looking for a superior quality job done by true professionals. I would absolutely recommend their work to anyone who is in need of painting!

It went very well. The painters did an especially good job with preparation, paying special attention to the areas that tend to peel. They were careful not to damage plants or leave any mess. They took great pains to make sure the paint colors matched. Communication was good, Kevin let me know when to expect them, and kept me informed of their plans. They did an excellent job and were friendly.

Excellent work. I watched a neighbor get his house painted by a different service at a lower cost, and he frankly got what he paid for. There are parts of his house's exterior that never got a second coat, and it shows. Kevin and crew were perfectionists, and the work is top notch. They were polite, professional and punctual. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Everything went extremely well. Kevin came out and gave me an estimate for the work, including the paint and supplies, which he stuck to. He and his employee worked two days from 8:30 am until after 5:00 pm with no breaks. My tenant did not prepare the apartment by moving the furniture away from the walls so Kevin and his employee did it. (Sorry, I can't remember his employee's name.) It took two days. Each day the cleaned the apartment before leaving. They did mot mind my stopping up and seeing the progress, and I did felt comfortable leaving the house to do what I needed to do. They were great. Kevin also gave me an estimate to paint my house in the spring and advised me on colors. The exterior of my house will be painted this spring.

Kevin responded to my inquiry by phone within hours and gave us an estimate the next morning. In less than a week our work was completed. Kevin and Chico were very accommodating moving our heavy furniture items and did an excellent job protecting our furniture, floors, etc. They were very attentive to detail, did an excellent repair where necessary, and returned for a problem area. Everything was left spotless when they finished. I highly recommend Kevin's company for your interior painting jobs!!

The workmen were courteous, professional and very careful with my property, cleaning the work area thoroughly before leaving each day. The job foreman was present at all times and attentive to every detail of the work. The quality of the work fully exceeded my expectations. I give this company the highest recommendation. The work was exceptional!

Excellent! David Wright and crew began work on Labor Day in order to accommodate my schedule. My wife and I left for vacation at the end of the week and hoped for completion by Friday afternoon.. They worked extra hours on very hot days (above 90) and completed the job on Thursday. The house looks beautiful and shows the quality and professionalism of Kevin Herington painting. The crew was friendly, cooperative and skilled. We are very pleased with the job and would definitely hire Kevin Herington Painting again.

Painter David Wright led a crew of three, including himself and responsible college students, Alex and Ryan. They arrived to our home each morning at precisely 7:00 AM and worked full days, with minimal breaks. They took the time to meticulously prep and clean the home by powerwashing the entire house, removing shutters, downspouts, and light fixures, and scraping/priming where needed. They took great care in applying two coats of paint to the body and trim of the house using brushes and rollers. Throughout the day, David and his crew maintained a tidy work area, and, at the end of the day, all supplies were put away. David was always very responsive to any of our questions and concerns. He took great pride in his work and the work of his crew and would go above and beyond to satisfy any customer requests. You may find others who will charge less for painting your home, but you will not get the quality of work that David Wright provides. We highly recommend him for any painting projects.

It went very well. Kevin was professional and did a great job for me. I would absolutely hire him again. It's like a breath of fresh air to have a contractor like Kevin.

The services were totally professional! The team painting the house worked well together and needed minimal discussion of what was to be accomplished. The job turned out BEAUTIFUL and we are very pleased. Definitely plan to use Herrington Painting again.

A couple of days before the painting began, men pressure washed the house. Then they scraped and sanded all loose paint and bare wood and caulked and puttied all holes and cracks. A couple of days later when the house was completely dry, a crew of four men applied the first coat of paint, following the next day with a second coat of paint. The men painted thoroughly and professionally. The work is guaranteed for five years.

Kevin painted two rooms that were previously bright orange. After contacting him, he responded to my request immediately, went out to the house, and gave me a quote. He provided great communication throughout the job, and finished when promised. The work is great - nice cover and clean lines. I highly recommend him.

It went as smoothly as all previous times. They Power washed deck, stained deck, put up baseboards and molding, finished painting rooms that needed touch ups and repainted. Took care of front door ,looks beautiful. Thank you Again,!!

Kevin and his crew were amazing! The job is done to as perfect as it could be ( the things I had painted were in disrepair and I didn't expect miracles. I do think I got one though as everything looks fantastic!) His focus on customer satisfaction is wonderful, he was here when he said he would be, the job was done quickly and correctly. He took the time to explain the reasons for his choices of stains, etc. He even took the time to call me while I was at the store to assist me in picking the correct paint. I will be calling him again.

Third time we've been lucky enough to have Kevin and his crew out to fix our house. He has fixed some mistakes our other contractor made and we were so relieved that he was able to come out and help us. The work always look so professional and the prices are more than fair, thank you again Kevin

Kevin's strength beyond excellent! painting is his customer service. He along with his crew strive to meet the customer's expectations. They are 100% successful in meeting that goal. All the guys on my job were friendly and considerate. They took much care to clean up daily. They were responsive to questions and easy to approach. Very nice group. All the positive reviews for Kevin on Angie's List are accurate and well deserved. Kevin is focused on providing an excellent painting experience. He succeeds and hits a home run! Kevin was very professional. He returned my call promptly and made an appointment to estimate the cost of the job. He was upfront about the possibility of not being able to start the job before the end of the painting season. His crew was able to start before it became too cold. They were all very nice and answered all of my questions. They neighbors told me how impressed with how busy they were to complete the job. The area was always cleaned up before they left for the day. They did a very careful job of painting my fragile shutters. Overall, very happy with the everyone's work.
