He gave me at great estmate then said he was bust till October before October upped the price then backed out saying we didn't have a contract except we had been Email back and forth. p.s. He saw me taking this picture and then I was met with sarcasm.

Both Kevin and Ric were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. After making the decision to hire them, I was very pleased with their responsiveness as we scheduled and completed the job. They came when they said they would come, did great work, and the whole crew handled themselves in a professional manner (both on a personal level and as far as cleaning up the work site). In a rush, I ended up unknowingly overpaying them - and received a call from Kevin immediately to correct the issue. Not sure I've had that experience with a contractor before! I plan on keeping Herington painting on speed dial for future work :).

Kevin and his team were professional, punctual and worked tirelessly to meet our requirements and time constraints. Prices were fair and attention to detail was really appreciated. They were very quick to remove drywall and wallpaper when an upstairs pipe sprung a leak, and our bathroom remodel as a result looks great! Would highly recommend and will use this paint crew again.

Kevin and his team came to the rescue. The job was over a large, tall stairway- an impossible place to reach, but this was no issue for the guys. They turned it around in no time, and it turned out to be a smooth, beautiful job thanks to Kevin and his team. They patched, mudded and painted to perfection!

When we had initially requested a quote to have our home painted, they came right out and got us a quote right away. However, that was the end of the responsiveness. We had responded to the quote asking that we go ahead with the work, to which we never received a response. My wife tried emailing and calling numerous times and never had a single response. I then tried and it took work on my end to get a response and was told I would be called the next day. 5 days later and I never heard back, so I reached out, only to be told that they can't get to it until next year. Now I have to start this process all over.

Everything went great! We wanted to change the color of our house but were unsure of our choice for the new color. Herington Painting test painted a small section of the house with the new color we chose to ensure we liked it. After we gave them the go ahead on the new color they came and finished the job. After the work was done and we performed a walk around and any questions we had were addressed right away. The house looks just like we were hoping for. Communication was always good with quick responses. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. I will not hesitate to call them again.

We highly recommend Herington Painting! Their price was a little higher than another contractor we looked into, but it was clear from the first meeting that they really knew what they were doing and we felt more confident that they would meet our expectations around the quality of the work. The entire team was professional and hard working. So happy with the results (and neighbors have complimented as well)! Would definitely hire them again.

We had a very bad experience with this company. The work was sloppy; paint drips throughout; missed spots on second coat throughout; and didn't paint areas according to our request (wrong color on window casing). Paint was splattered on multiple surfaces including on my piano legs - top of piano - dining room table - leather sofa. Very unprofessional response to our concerns (job Forman tried to make it right but owner wasn't interested); we paid for the paint and had to call in another painter to fix and finish what had been done. A two day project turned in to a two week nightmare.

Working with Herington was one of the most positive experiences with a contractor our family has ever had. It is refreshing to work with people who take pride in their workmanship. I called Kevin in desperation as my sister was having her home interior painted in preparation to sell her home. She was on a very tight timeframe and the painter she hired was on week 2 of a job he said would take less than 1 week and he was not near close to finishing the job as he was not dependable and not showing up to work most days. When I called Kevin (on a weekend) and explained the situation and the urgency, he was very understanding and stopped at my sister's home the same day to give her an estimate on the remaining work. He was very fair with his price and finished the job on time. The quality of work was wonderful and the Kevin and his team were thorough and professional. We have recommended Herington to friends and family and will continue to recommend and gladly hire them again for our upcoming interior and exterior painting.

They called on a Friday to arrange a meeting the following Monday (or Tuesday) , to give me an estimate. But they never showed up at the agreed upon day / time and never called me back to explain why.

It went extremely well. There was a huge amount of prep work due to paint having been applied over the stained trim many years ago. This kept the painted..and repainted surfaces..bubbling. Kevin's men sanded much of the extensive trim all the way down to the bare wood. And they also replaced trim in several areas. I couldn't have asked for more courteous and professional workers. There main focus was on doing the best possible job and making sure I was satisfied.

My wife and I love how the job came out. There were a couple spots that needed to be retouched, but Kevin and Chico were very professional and kind. If there were any issues they would come out and fix it. Our touch ups were minor, but they pride themselves on professionalism. Very down to earth and friendly as well.

We were on a tight schedule since we wanted to complete painting before the movers arrived with all our stuff. Kevin showed up quickly to give us a quote that was very fair. He fully explained his approach to interior painting. He was able to start the job within days even without a deposit for materials. We were not living in the house yet, so we gave Kevin keys to the house so he could work on his schedule. He planned to get drop off some equipment on Sunday and jump on the job on Monday morning. We stopped by the house on Sunday afternoon to find his crew already prepping and painting ceilings! His crew worked quickly and did an excellent job. When we stopped by on Monday, they had pulled all the kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors and painted them in the garage. We had not specifically discussed this during the quote, but we're happy to get all the cabinets refreshed as well "for free." Customer satisfaction is a top priority for Kevin. His crew came back multiple times to do touch ups. It took several rounds since we did not catch everything on the first inspection (or second). They showed up every time with a smile and a desire to make sure we were happy with the finished job. There was one hiccup that could have ruined the entire experience. Some paint got spilled on the new carpet and their attempt to clean it up was not perfect. We had to get the carpet replaced. This all happened after we had already given Kevin the final payment. Kevin sent us a check to cover the replacement cost the same day we provided the quote to him, without any push back to prodding from us. Bottom line, we love the paint job. We love Kevin's laid-back (painting in shorts & flip-flops), hard-working focus on customer service. We will definitely be calling Kevin next time we need to paint!

Thank you, Kevin and crew! We needed our new home painted before we moved in, but were going to overseas during the period when the work could be done. Kevin made it easy to arrange everything remotely via e-mail and text; he kept me updates on progress, checked in about questions, and even sent photos. The house looks fantastic--like an entirely new place. Kevin and his team made repairs to some uneven and peeling plaster and fixed some minor dings to the trim and such. They even ripped out some nasty old carpet for me! I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Kevin is easy to work with and definitely knows what he's doing, I'll definitely be calling him again for future projects.

I am really happy with Kevin Herington Painting! The job started out with a small hiccup with the original painter they sent out. I hadn't complained at all, but Ric and Kevin took the initiative and said they weren't happy with the painter's work and timeline so they came and did it themselves. It showed so much integrity that they stepped up and said something before I made any kind of complaint. They did a beautiful job on the paint, it looks so clean and crisp, and they offered a few complimentary services to make up for the slightly rocky start. I am so impressed with their work and how they handled themselves. Highly recommended!

Everything went very well, Kevin's crew are professional, courteous and prompt. They did a great job on my 100 year old house. They scaped, primed and painted the exterior. They also went above and beyond painting my Bilco basement door as a bonus. Also power washed and stained 2 decks. Very good quality work, and the house looks great. I will use them again in the future if needed.

I have used Angies list for several years to find contractors to do needed repairs around the house. I have found that the reviews are invaluable. It was time to repaint the exterior of our home, so based upon the reviews I found Kevin Herington. I was not disappointed. They not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. I could not have asked for a better job. They removed hardware, such as the house numbers and door hardware, rather than trying to paint around them. This gave a perfect paint job and the hardware was not painted into the siding so you can't remove it. They protected the plantings around the house, and repaired some sections where we had dry rot. They worked quickly but did not sacrifice quality. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them for any painting job.

THANK GOD for Kevin and his wonderful team of hard working individuals. ?We had Kevin out last summer for some indoor painting and were impressed and very happy with his work ethic and prompt response. ?When we needed to stain the outside of the house to get it ready for selling there was no doubt who we would call. ?Fortunately we were able to book him before he got too busy. Our house looks amazing, not only that but Kevin and his workers showed up on Saturday??and Sunday, I didn't even expect that. ?I could write page after page of how impressed we are with Kevin, but his reviews are all anyone needs to read.. The whole team was so. amazing and professional, Chico, Al, ...and I apologize for not remembering the other guys names. But they were amazing workers, cleaning up everything they did at the end of the day, and never complained about all the trips they had to make to Home Depot for me! ?I let Kevin pick the colors he wanted to us for inside of house because I knew he would know exactly what to buy and of course he did. Also, the quality of paint was amazing, they don't mess around with some of those cheaper brands of paint, they get the best paint that covers so beautifully ( thank you Sherwin Williams) Anyone who gets to book these guys before they are swamped with work are exceptionally lucky, you can't go wrong, also their pricing is more than reasonable, don't bother calling anyone else, these are the best painters on Angies List!?
