We had had the pleasure of using Kevin Herington Painters , Kevin Herington owner. We have an older colonial home with wooded cedar shingles with excessive blistering of the paint due to sun damage. Kevin and his team sanded, caulked, primed and painted the exterior of the house, which was an enormous job. Their work was professionally executed, reasonably priced and finished in a timely fashion. This summer exceeded historical limits on rain however Kevin and his team came through and completed an exquisite job for us, working under extremely difficult circumstances. Not only was the team of painters polite they also proved to be talented with their workmanship being detailed and complete We would definitely award Kevin Herington Painting a “5-star” rating!! They made everything look brand new again. They are a very nice group, easy to work with, and did such a beautiful job! Thank you Kevin for doing such a FANTASTIC job! We own a fairly large 50's ranch home that was vinyl sided many years ago, but in order to maintain the unique architectural details of the house, an extensive amount of wood trim has been retained. Kevin's crew (including Kevin) did an excellent job for us. They were thorough, attentive to details, extremely neat during and after the project and went the extra mile to paint some areas that were not actually mentioned in our contract. We definitely would recommend Kevin to anyone needing painting services...without reservations.

We were very pleased with the way Kevin and his workers did this job. They were very punctual and particular about the way the job was done and also the cleanup at the end. The carpenter Kevin recommended for the repairs was also very responsive and managed the repairs so that there was no holdup in getting the work finished. We have already asked Kevin to do another paint project for us. We would certainly recommend him without hesitation.

Sanding and painting was done very neatly and looked great when completed. One thing I especially liked is that when Kevin found several spots that had rotted, he didn't just paint over them, but informed me so that I could make a decision about how to handle them. When I asked him about repairing them, he contacted a skilled carpenter who repaired the damaged areas (for a reasonable fee) the next day, so there was little delay with the painting. Kevin appeared to be earnest about doing a good job, and seemed to manage his crew well.

Kevin Herington came to look at the home and give an estimate. Work began the next morning. The walls were taped off, paper/plastic was hung to protect the walls, furniture, and floors, the cathedral ceiling was primed and painted throughout the kitchen, dining room, and living room. I'm very pleased with the results and how quickly the job was done. They were very respectful and cleaned up well after the job was completed. The price was also very reasonable. I would recommend Kevin Herington Painting.

Kevin returned my message promptly and we set up a time for an evening estimate, communicating via texts and emails. He inspected the space, listened to our requests, explained his services, and made suggestions. We received his estimate the next morning as promised and he answered additional questions. We hired Kevin as we felt the cost was fair, he was a good communicator, and he promised the job could be done within our four week deadline. I chose paint colors and the next day Kevin offered to start prep work, even though it was a weekend. The job was done in two days, per the estimate. We found Kevin and his crew to be courteous, personable, and flexible. The paint job was completed neatly and they cleaned up well afterward. We are pleased with the quality of Kevin’s work and will use him again in the future.

I knew the minute he started talking about his business that he would be my choice . Kevin Herington and his crew are everything he told me they were. It isn't often that you find intelligence, incredibly good humor. dedication to the things promised and a gentle heart all in one person, let alone someone who works his tail off and is present, working with his crew, on the job site....but that has been my experience of Kevin Herington Painting. He started when he said he would, his crew, who have worked together for years, worked THEIR tails off, they were on time, they like each other, they were efficient and I'm so sad the job is done but it was also finished when he said it would be. Very reasonable cost and so much client consideration that Kevin sent me a gift basket (go Julie!)after I told him of my car accident, and he hadn't even started to work yet. To top THAT, we discovered we share the same birthday: he and Chico sent me roses. I am going to miss them. Hire them!

We are delighted with the work. The house needed a lot of difficult prep work prior to painting and the crew did an excellent job. The house is over 80 years old and looks new again. The paint job was done so well that a neighbor thought we had put on new siding! Kevin promptly returned calls and addressed questions. The crew arrived promptly each day and I was notified if they couldn't come as a result of weather. They were careful about protecting the plantings and other structures. They removed the gutters, painted them where necessary and re hung them. They even washed the outside panes of all the windows. I highly recommend their work and would hire them again.

This paint crew went above and beyond with the prep work before painting my house. Because of this, the quality and final outcome was beautiful. Kevin and his team helped with paint choices and did a great clean up when the job was done. Very professional.

They were very good. We were satisfied with their work. They did a very good job. They were reliable. My husband mostly worked with them.

Kevin's team were always on-time and professional. They focused on my job to get it completed. They were very courteous and did a great job prepping the house, way better than my previous house painter 8 years earlier. They did exactly as I wanted. They were very patient and willing to work with me the whole way through. They were also a good bunch of guys that were enjoyable working with. I would highly recommend them and definitely use them myself for future painting jobs.

I've used Herington Painting for two different projects in my house. I had them paint both our recreation room and den. The den has high vaulted ceiling with skylights and a stone fireplace. The end result was excellent. The walls and trim look great and lines and edges were crisp and neat. Kevin and his crew were great to work with, very professional, on time, and worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. His costs were also very competitive to other local painters we had quote the same jobs. Overall I was very happy using Herington Painting and will certainly be using them again for future painting needs.

Everything went very well. When the weather did not cooperate, Kevin always called me and let me know when he would be back to continue to work on my home. When Kevin was looking over my home to give me a quote, he noticed that I had a window sill that was rotting out, I never would have noticed it, if it was not for Kevin. Kevin recommended a contractor to me and I called him, he also was very polite and did a great job in replacing my window sill. As I stated above, I would highly recommend Kevin and I would not hesitate to use Kevin again !!!!!!

They did a great job sanding and painting. There was one spot that had a rough spot on the window afyter priming it, but they cane back and re-scraped and sanded it, then pained the finish coat.

1. Removed all cabinet doors and drawer facings and took them to his workshop where they were sanded and repainted with primer and 2 coats of paint. 2. He very carefully primed and painted (2 coats) all existing parts of the cabinets and drawers that are visible in the kitchen. 3. Carefully washed all hinges. 4. Carefully rehung doors and replaced drawer facings. 5. He painted the mantle on the fireplace. 6. Willingly came back and did some minor touchups. NOTE: Kevin was a pleasure to work with, very sensitive to what we wanted done, kept us informed of the job progress and was extremely neat and efficient. We would use him again for any painting needs.

They were generally superior and probably the best one I have ever had. I could have lost my chimney another year to have task because nobody's noticing. I have noticed the problem and I thought it was a roofing problem. I had a lot of roofers on here to look at it and people said various things but I was still having a problem and let him sure what it was. It turned out to be a hole on my fascia. While I was getting in there and got into behind the siding on the chimney was actually rotting chimneys from the inside out. It was a French chimney. It was not only an insert but framed around it and the water got in behind the sidings between the plywood and the siding. He really could not tell us too much but I had not worried about it because I had noticed some stains and stuff. Nobody discovered it for me. He did a wonderful job on my house. He saved my life on discovering a problem with my chimney while he was out painting and repaired that also.

Kevin had time in his schedule to fit my job between other jobs and started several days earlier than promised. This was an exceptionally well-done job. iKevin had 1 to 4 men working on the job. ALL the painters were courteous and professional. The work proceeded quickly. I am impressed with the care taken to keep the work areas clean. Also the attention to detail,like painting areas likely to be unseen. The bathroom was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly stripped and patched walls, neatly painted. All fixtures put back perfectly, including a new cabinet they hung for me. Each of the four jobs presented a different surface (wallboard, galvanized, exterior wood and shingle to painted wood.The workmanship was highly professional. I know as I was a paint and adhesive chemist. On top of the excellent quality, the entire crew was pleasant and treated the property the respect as if it were their own. I will need the exterior painted shortly and will not hesitate to hire Kevin for that major job.

Great. Timely quote, did the work when committed, the house looks great and cost was same as quote. They were also very patient when I could not quite decide on the color. Acquired multiple shades and left blocks of sample color on various spots on the house so I could see it in different light. We were quite pleased and would certainly use them again.

My mother had Kevin Herington's crew paint her split level house, and was happy with their work. Here are her comments: Included in the job was scraping and sanding all loose paint on trim of doors, windows, body, etc. Then came the power washing. This 54 year old house has been well taken care of but the painters found several spots of bare wood to prime with an oil primer before applying the final two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal paint. The men found a few more minor problems on the house and I agreed to have the crew take care of them for a reasonable extra fee. In addition, they applied Dry Lok to the interior basement walls, which had not been in good shape. The crew worked hard over a period of about a week. Kevin was present for most of the work, and when he wasn't, the crew still worked well. They responded to my questions and suggestions. (Sticky windows required special treatments.) When the crew left the house looked to be in its best shape for years and the lawn and surroundings were clean. I was pleased that Kevin’s crew could accomplish the whole job within three weeks, after I first talked to him. The other two paint crews I contacted could not have done the work until later this fall.

These guys are awesome. Kevin and his crew were professional, neat, polite, and the quality of their work is fantastic. Their bid was the lowest. Our house has old aluminum siding. They washed and sanded, and even replaced a couple missing siding pieces. Then sprayed the color on. They brushed on the trim paint, and removed and painted the shutters. They even removed and painted the mailbox from the huose and the house numbers, without me asking. All our neighbors say our house is now a bright spot in the neighborhood, and the best looking house. Several neighbors are even requesting estimates from Kevin Herington now as well. I cannot say enought good things about my experience with this company.

Kevin and his crew were very professional. Doors were removed, sanded, and painted. Wallpaper was removed, walls washed, and painted. The crew moved all the furniture. and replaced all wall hangings. The baseboard were nailed in place. He arrived on time and answered all telephone calls promptly. I would definetly use him again.

The work itself, and the service was excellent. I could not have been more pleased. Kevin, himself, was on site each day working with and supervising one or two others. Kevin gave constructive suggestions when I asked for advise choosing colors, paint types and other options. He was always punctual arriving each day. The work sites were always left clean and picked up. His estimate as to the time needed for the job was right on which was wonderful as I was planning for the upcoming holidays. His estimate for the cost of the job was also right on; no surprise costs to finish the job. Kevin was extremely easy to reach and responsive to any questions I had and anything I wanted changed and/or fixed during the work. Kevin and everyone working with him were very professional. They were very careful with all my furniture and other items. They even put up my new, very curious, kitten who loved to follow the guys around the house. Fortunately Kevin caught her before she dunked her whole head into the paint pan one day. The only result: light blue whiskers!

The work went very well. Kevin is very efficient and knows how to plan his work to be the least disruptive and most efficient. He and his team work very hard, show up when they say they will and are very thoughtful, courteous and professional. He started by washing the house, leaving enough time for it to dry. Then they sanded and scraped the old paint carefully and then applied primer where necessary and two coats of paint on the rest. Some of the vents were new and some were original which didn't look matched so Kevin took the initiative to go out and get new matching ones to replace the old ones gratis. We can't imagine a better experience.

Kevin and his group were excellent to deal with. They were thorough and professional and the job done was high quality. They were able to do a large number of assorted repairs to the house associated with painting. They rebuilt our deck completely. They helped reposition/place the screening throughout the house. Kevin was easy to communicate with and dependable. The price was very competitive for the quality of the job done. We have now contracted to have them come back and paint the interior upstairs rooms. We were very comfortable with the whole team working in and around our home for most of a month. We will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to several friends. Having worked wiwth other paining groups over the years, we are happy to have found Kevin Herrington.
