 + -1 moreDue to some communication issues, it wasn't perfect but both sides were at fault. I was probably more at fault then him. He did do a great thorough inspection.

 + -1 moreI would hire Fritz again in a heartbeat. I joined Angie's List to find other honest contractors like him, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a home, termite, and/or radon gas inspection. Fritz was punctual, very thorough (gave me 2+ hours of his time), and was very generous with home improvement suggestions and tips. I left a very happy buyer, and I felt much more comfortable about the home purchase.
Description of Work: I recently purchased a home in SW Rochester, and hired Fritz Gunther, owner of Gunther Home Inspectors as my Home Inspector. He was punctual, arriving 15 minutes before our 3:00 appointment. He was very friendly upon arrival, and wasted no time systematically going through the home, checking square footage of the house, pipe safety and material, outlets, floor condition, and appliances. He very honestly estimated the lifespan of the existing furnace, water heater, air conditioning unit, dishwasher, and refrigerator, and gave tips on how to save $$ on replacing the appliances that would need to be replaced in the next couple of years. He discovered a broken flu hatch in the fireplace, an under-ventilated attic, and in my opinion, was very fair to both buyer and seller.
