graves bros have given me a very competitive bid and I accepted it. they say they will start work in a month or two. will update when work is done. they did the work as scheduled and did a fantastic job

Bob and Ryan did a great job! They were organized and professional and courteous. The new garage wall, new door and vinyl siding came out great. Most of all we felt we were in good hands.

The work was completed over a 7 day period due to 2 rain delays. The workman was very professional continually keeping us up to date on what he was doing and why. He took much care to make sure that the new trim fit properly and that it matched the existing house contour. The front door frame was a challenge because of it's varying contour but he was up to the task and it came out beautiful. We are extremely pleased with the results. We would not hesitate to work with Graves again or to recommend them.

Everything about our relationship with Graves Bros. during the window project has been excellent: from the initial estimate, details about start times, the crew that installed the windows, and the office personnel with whom I spoke about billing questions. The crew of Bob, Joshua and Kyle were in our house for two days and were professional, efficient, friendly, courteous and really knew what they were doing. There were a couple of unexpected problems which they didn't ignore but rather came up with excellent solutions. We are 100% pleased with Graves Bros. Home Improvement and recommend them without hesitation. We called them for the window project because they had been equally professional when replacing our roof 2 years ago.

It went perfectly! Start date was off by a few days, but it was middle of the summer and I'm sure they were backed up on another job or two. Went very fast. They even fixed the wood above my front door for free. I guess someone forgot it when SOMEONE redid the soffit back in the 80's. My neighbor hired them to do THEIR roof too. No issues and paid when the job was complete and everyone was happy.

I called and asked about scheduling a small repair job on July 23 and explained I had a deadline of August 15th to get the repair done due to my home insurance requirement. The man I spoke to said someone would call me back to schedule a date. A week later another man called and asked the same questions as the first guy and said he would call me the following week to come by and do the repair. A week after that, now the 3rd week, I called again and was told again that someone would call me back to schedule a date. Finally on the 13th of August I got a call asking about it and I said forget it. I had to get a family friend to fix it for me because this company was not going to meet my deadline. Im so disappointed with their service.

From the moment we spoke to Steve to get an estimate to the day the last truck pulled away they were outstanding. We spoke to a number of people at the company and they were all wonderful. We didn’t find one nail or scrap on the yard, in the driveway or in the garage. They cleaned everything so well when they finished, you would never know they were here. We received 13 estimates for our job. Graves Brothers wasn’t the lowest estimate, they were somewhere in the middle, but because of the reviews on Angie’s List and word of mouth, we chose them. We couldn’t be happier. Our house was built in 1954 and it looks brand new. It’s absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend Graves Brothers to anyone.

Wasn't started. I've had projects performed by Graves in the past and have been very satisfied with the end products, professionalism. When I decided on this project, I contacted Graves, got an estimate, etc. I didn't comparison shop as I knew Graves was fair in price and the job would be done to my satisfaction. I received an email from them that there would need to be additional work done at additional cost. I was somewhat dissatisfied that I was not contacted by phone with details, etc and called requesting the information. The day prior to the project starting, I received a call from the man who was doing the job requesting to relook at the project site. He came, saw and informed me that it could not be done as proposed as the heating ducts were an obstacle. We discussed options and I was open to trying an alternative approach. He then was going to contact someone who could offer alternative approaches to the remodeling. The man came on a Sunday, was here about an hour, informed me that he would put together other approaches in the next couple days. That was more than a month ago-- I have not been contacted, had no word from Graves. Quite frankly, I was so dissatisfied at that point, that I decided not to pursue the remodeling. I am very disappointed at the poor customer service and professionalism demonstrated by Graves

It was great. We had a team led by Bob Marshal. It was a good job, good communication, provided suggestions and also listened to what we wanted to be done.

Excellent! The install team were fantastic! They did a very thorough job in installing my roof and cleaned up afterwards. The sales and office staff were great and very attentive to any questions or concerns I had. The roof product I bought definitely lives up to the promises! We have had a couple of pretty strong wind storms this winter, and the usual amount of snow and ice, and my roof looks like new!

The entire process from estimation to completion of the job was very professional and timely. They were always prompt responding to questions or concerns. Reasonable pricing and possessing a strong customer focus; which resulted in a good end to end experience.

They were very professional and helped in our time of need. We had a roof leaking and they were great about fitting us in around the weather to help avoid further damage. The price was a bit higher than i would've like but that was to be expected as we needed special care taken on the addition roof as well as the short amount of time we had to get it repaired. They were fantastic and brought in an extra large crew to get it done so much faster then I expected. I have since told several neighbors about them as well as here on Angie's list.

The roof/ soffit job went excellent. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. The gentleman who arrived to give me the free quote was friendly and knew right away what needed to be done. He took some pictures and a few days later I received a quote. Mark, the supervisor in the main office, is very nice. He is very accessible and clarified the quote before the job started. I was fortunate to get on their repair schedule a few weeks later. The roofers who showed up were great. Allen was very pleasant and told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it. He even paused half way through to show me what he had done before he sealed everything up. That really gave me comfort as it gave me an opportunity to ask any questions before everything was already done and over. The result was very clean and finished looking. I felt very comfortable that they are experts in their work, and I'm confident I made the right choice when I hired them among the 3 roofers I had been considering originally. Will definitely hire them again.

It went well. They did the work pretty quickly and they were very pleasant to work with.

Not good. I was never called back by an estimator to schedule a visit for an inspection and a quote for the repair. I will not be considering this company for future jobs.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Was given a written quote by an estimator. The price was fine but I asked the person doing the work to take a look because moving a gas line was left out. The price ballooned to more than DOUBLE the total price. This is after two weeks of asking for a quote. I have been asking for a written updated quote to see why exactly for 2 months now. I have emailed, left messages, and have received nothing, but the promise “they will get to it.” I have spoken to 4 different people at Graves (leadership included), left work 3 times to meet them, and have ultimately wasted enough time. They even acknowledged they made a mistake but would not honor the original quote because they would be operating at a loss. I said I would work with them but clearly they don’t want to work with me. Not worth the headache!!

I was called on the phone and given a flat rate plus materials from someone who did not even bother to come out to look at the problem. Needless to say, I was not impressed .

Work was started during the window that I was given for start; some cold weather and snow slowed the work, and in particular at the end of the job the on site crew could not complete clean-up because of the weather. I was assured that someone would be back to clean up promptly, but it took greater than one week for the company to properly clean the debris remaining around my home. On the other hand, when I discovered several issues regarding the quality of the work that had been done, the company was very prompt, courteous and thorough in sending out people and materials to correct all issues. Overall, I was pleased with my dealings with this company, and would recommend them to others.

excellent work they were there when they said they would be there they did not miss a day once the job was started. owner visited the job site through out the project.. I have used them on multiple projects through out the years.always top of the line work.

I worked with Graves Brothers 10+ years ago. I think asking me to review their services now is not very useful!

Lost several roof shingles during a heavy wind storm. Called the next morning. They were out to look at the damage that afternoon. They buttoned things up with a tarp to prevent any water leaks. They returned the next morning with matching shingles, did the repair and everything looks great! Grateful for their quick response and would definitely recommend.

Excellent work performed in a timely way by highly skilled craftspeople. Very responsive to suggestions and willing to share helpful expertise. The resulting work met or exceeded all of our expectations.
