Description of Work: Garage roof - tear off and full replacement.

Description of Work: I had a specialty porch roof (curved) that was leaking. I had two other roofers attempt to repair it to no avail.

Description of Work: Excellent quality job - tear-off and replace roof; fix leak. Crew mostly good, brought a dumpster and cleaned up every day, including a magnet to get stray nails. Anthony answered all of our questions and was very patient. After the job was completed we asked him to come and fix some minor issues with paint, which he did. He offered to replace a gutter one of the crew dented. The only negative thing about the job was that he postponed our job for a home-seller's job who was under contingency. He admitted that that was a bad decision, especially since we had a roof leak. Still, we would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Anthony Giordano" Roof replacement and roof restoration is THE only company in the Rochester NY area, not only did we get a personal visit from Anthony he took pictures of all exterior and interior areas, did a full evaluation with pictures, emailed us the structure estimate and pictures, brought us 6ft room samples so we could actually hold them up to our house, not just guess from a little book, gave us every option, pros and cons..we had a 2 layer 20 year old roof..he and his crew worked very efficiently, told us when they found an underlaying problem on the edges, did not pressure us into one single thing, we had the choice of edge venting with simply a vent in the roof or a power vent which he only charged us $150 for..that was for the electrician to wire it and was paid to him so Anthony didn't make any extra off of that, fully explained what we were gaining in energy savings with the package we chose, but also told us it was entirely our choice..just to call him and let him know. When I picked the color, he even suggested sitting on it a couple of days to make absolutly certain this was the color I wanted, as I had changed my mind once i saw the 6ft samples. We got 4 estimates, and the only one who was any cheaper, was $750 less and never even went into the house to inspect the chimney or attic, when they removed the roof (house built 1955) there turned out to be a tongue and groove roof (which he already knew BUT they had used 16" inches of cedar shank on the edges that required all new wood as it crumbled...not 1 of the estimates saw that coming so I'm quite sure Anthony didn't either, he and his crew stayed extra late the night before Thanksgiving, AND since prices were about to skyrocket due to super storm Sandy and all the market demand for building supplies he replaced all of the edging right away so as not to pay more as prices were going up quickly... and told me to pay him a very minimal difference when I could, as I am out of work due to illness. I'm pretty sure that extra 16" of wood on the edges was only labor cost for his guys not even charging me for the product...I mean how do you replace 16" all around a 1500sq ft house for under $400? No pressure at all, great team, very very polite and courteous..we were informed of every step along the 4 day process, given before during and after pictures, and everything was spotless at the end of every day..he even offered to build boxes to protect my landscaping form any of the tearoff falling...WHO DOES THAT? no extra charge!!! and he gives you a very complete estimate, with payment not due until the project is done!.My husband and i didn't even have any questions as we watched the project because Anthony was already at the door to address everything as the project went along.
