The removal went well and the creation of the forms seemed to go well, owner Troy is very good and a hard worker. driveway looked ok after the pour. I followed care instructions meticulously, no cars on driveway for 30 days, never used any salt. The first problem was his first sealing before first winter.....the sealer made the driveway look pretty bad , brush stokes like a really bad paint job. He tried to fix this but never was able to make it look any better. He promised to give me a free reseal job for the next season but never came back to do it. After the first winter the drive started to spall. my calls were ignored. My email questions were not responded to. The spalling has gotten much worse and there are a couple of major cracks. I really just want the driveway to be fixed , the spalling appears to be mostly in the tire track, somehow my driveway in very susceptible to the little rad salt carried in by the tire treads. HOWEVER, I HAVE 4 NEIGHBORS WITH CONCRETE DRIVES AND NOBODY ELSE IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I checked with the company which mixed the concrete, they claim the paperwork says the mix is correct. It did start raining briefly during the work and this may have contributed to excess water being trapped near the surface causing the concrete to spall. maybe this is nobody's fault but I am stuck with trying to repair this on my own. The contractor has no idea what to do . I gave the work to Gabriel in the first place because he had done a small job for me and I thought he was a hard working guy who knew the trade. I still believe he is capable, but he should not be running a business. He left me high and dry when a problem arose and is not able to handle day to day customer interactions. This turned out to be extremely important in my case. I am now trying to find a way to repair this mess as my driveway crumbles away. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this company.
Description of Work: they removed asphalt driveway and put in concrete driveway.

It took them quite a while to return my call, they never returned the initial email sent from their website. However, once things got going, they were on time from what I remember. The price was very reasonable to tear out and dispose of a small sidewalk, 5 steps and a small retaining wall. They also replaced said items. The wall came out very well in appearance, however it does have some drainage problems. The sidewalk came out very nicely, I see no issues there. The steps are not bad, however I did have to have them rework the top two steps, as they were not level. They are still not perfect, but they'll have to do. They did get the job done, and it looks much better than it did before (crumbling steps and wall, and pitted concrete walkway). However I will most likely not be using them again.
Description of Work: Remove a front concrete walkway, five concrete steps, and a concrete block retaining wall. Replace all the above.

I called, Gabriel came when he said he would. He gave me the quote and said he could do the job the next day. He came when he said he would, did the job exactly as expected and charged the amount he quoted me.

Troy gave us a written estimate of the job which was very reasonable given the scope of the job. We called and scheduled the work for several weeks later. He and his crew arrived on time on the date we agreed upon. They did an excellent job of preparing the site for pouring the concrete. The floor was carefully marked at a slight angle for drainage toward the front of the garage. After the pour and careful resurfacing of the floor, he returned to trim any sections that were not even and also cut grooves so that any cracking would occur along the groove lines. Then the floor was sealed. He returned to give the floor a final sealing coat. The garage has never looked better!
Description of Work: The garage floor was badly cracked and broken up. The concrete in rear of the garage was apparently done by a previous owner and was done in a very careless and unprofessional manner. The entire floor needed to be done over. All of the concrete was removed and the new floor was poured. We did not specify in our original estimate that we wanted an apron poured and did not discuss sealing the floor. We added the sealing at their recommendation.

We requested several estimates. Troy's was in the same ballpark. He was honest and direct about what he thought should be done and how it would look. He worked with us to find suitable options, then followed through with an excellent job.
Description of Work: Troy (himself) repaired the cap and top few courses of brick on our chimney and also placed a stamped-concrete sidewalk (approx 50 feet) with two steps leading to our front door. The work was done last fall (September, 2006).
