Description of Work: They did a home install of a wireless laser printer that is used in Rochester and at a 2nd location part of the year. This involved setting up to wireless routers for both Apple and PC computers.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job. Arrived on time, did job in less time than anticipated, and explained everything they did. I had spent hours reading FAQs, trying different solutions, getting other professional involved - but nothing worked. Enright fixed it.
Description of Work: Migrated my mail client and web browser to new version, after other computer professionals failed. I was being blocked out of numerous web sites because of outdated browser. And my mail client was hanging up all the time.

 + -1 moreDave Enright is a local institution when it comes to computers. He's the host of "Sound Bytes," a long running computer call in show. Based on hearing that show I took in a laptop that was having problems charging. I knew that there would be a diagnostic fee involved, so that didn't surprise me. Unfortunately they found only one of two problems. The PC did have a bad power adapter (as they identified). Unfortunately, it also had a bad power jack on the motherboard. That was something that they missed (though its understandable how that might happen). I opted not to have the do the repair work as at first I thought I just had to replace the power supply. When I later found out the second problem, I decided to replace the motherboard myself.
Description of Work: Diagnosis of power issues on a Dell Laptop.
