Installation performed with no apparent issues - very happy with the results. The installers noticed an unrelated roof leak while working in the attic and made a point of informing me and ensuring I understood that it needed attention from another contractor. Ellenwood did require that the roof vent cap portion of the installation be done by a separate roofing contractor, and provided a recommendation. This involved some extra work to coordinate the two but in the end it worked out fine. This portion of the work was an additional $250 above and beyond the fan installation (it's an older roof with 3 layers of shingles including cedar shingles, so this made the work more difficult).

Mark came out to our house prior to work commencing to review the job. He quoted what we thought was a fair price. Luis and his assistant came out to the house the following week to do the job. Everything went extremely well from our viewpoint, although the fireplace chimney and a beam threw Luis a curve (which he was able to work through). Although the guys were on the job longer that what was anticipated, Mark did not change the original quoted price. A very neat and friendly experience, one again. We would definitely hire Ellenwood Electric in the future!

Everything went very well. Luis and Cory arrived on time, were very polite and professional and completed the job as scheduled. We are very happy with the completed job and have found our "go to" electrician!

Everything went fine except they could not fix the speed chain on the ceiling fan. They said the switch would have to be replaced including a complicated wiring job. Electrician said it would be cheaper to buy a new fan.

They did a great job. Would make that decision again anytime.

Team was on time, professional and friendly. Answered any questions I had. The only issue I had is that they do not bring their own clean-up tools such as a brush, dustpan and small vacuum and I was not informed that they would be using my equipment for clean up.

We received quotes from other electricians. Mark came out and talked to us a couple of times before the contract was even signed. He made sure that we understood what he would be doing and why, and he listened to our concerns about the work that needed to be done. His crew arrived on time and prepared, with everything needed to get the job done. It was a very cold and windy day, and most of the work had to be done outside. They worked without complaint. All work done inside the house was done with very little disruption. And everything, inside and out, was picked up and left just as it was prior to the start of work. The crew was polite. Answered any questions I had, and appeared to be very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. It was clear that Mark, the owner, had gone over all of the details of the project with them before they came to our home.

Great! They were right on time, friendly, personable -- and completed all the work in exactly the amount of time proposed. Left the place looking as clean as if they'd never even been there!

Ellenwood Electric professionalism is rated number one in my book. The 13s and on-time service was very awesome. The service on my needs.

Not well, paid for services didn't receive

It went very well. We hired Mark because of his can-do attitude, his knowledge and communication skills. No complaining or wishy-washy here! We appreciated his advice on specific brands to go with or avoid, and he was flexible when the products we ordered arrived a couple days late. Installation was done by two of Mark's assistants, who were equally personable and knowledgable. We are very pleased with the recommended product and installation, and we will hire them again in the spring for more work.

Great. I didn't check Angie's List for this, as Ellenwood has been my electrician for a number of years. When the invoice arrived, I was delighted to see that they are part of the Angie group - I am very happy with their work.

It went well. Quality was good. I'm sure they were here on time. I didn't work with them, but David said they were nice and they were good. They came right away.

Brilliant! By the time Luis and his assistant came the power had returned, which made their job tougher. But we put our heads together and within 1/2 hr the problem was solved. They systematically homed in on one outlet and sure enough a connection was loose. They fixed it and rechecked everything. We are back in business and very grateful. I like the fact that Luis explained as he went along and taught us a few things about our system.

I called Ellenwood Electric to fix our main kitchen light electric that suddenly stopped working. Prior to them coming we also had a problem with our stove and basement light fixtures. They came out and fixed all of our issues in no time. The staff was very nice and were able to answer all our questions and give advice. They were very reasonably priced and were in and out in no time. I would definitely hire them again!

They arrived on time, with already arranged appointment for RGE people to install the meter. (RGE people were late). They worked steadily, were very polite, cleaned up afterward and provided intelligent and enjoyable conversation during the lunch I provided for them.

It was finally time to rescue our kitchen lighting from the 80's and based on a prior experience with Ellenwood Electric, we knew they were the ones for the job. Mark Ellenwood came to our home and listened to our needs and provided excellent suggestions for our project. He also saved us money on fixtures by arranging for us to deal directly with the wholesaler for our under cabinet lighting. Mark's right hand man Luis, and his assistant Corey were both a pleasure to have in our home. They arrived on time each day (early actually), were courteous, and very knowledgable. Luis in particular was very helpful in determining fixture placement and height. They left our home spotless each day and were great with our dog. We couldn't be happier with our new lighting and would not hesitate to recommend Ellenwood Electric to anyone.

The gentlemen were extremely efficient in determining the issue and repairing the problem. I would definitely use their service again!

The owner is very responsive and professional as is the crew. The come out and did the job quickly and efficiently.
