Disappointed in service. Was to vacuum, clean tub ( bc I can't get on my and and knees) Under tub was dirty she had never cleaned the tub. She really wasn't doing what I asked her to do. As time went by there were less and less things she wanted to do. She wanted to just talk, but when she's talking to me she's not working.I trusted her to do the work she was hired to do. I dismissed her and will not use her again.

Dusted, vacuumed, cleaned toilet. She trusted her to do what she was suppose to do but she was doing as little to nothing. I closed down the upstairs so ow there was only 1 floor.

Dusted, vacuum for both upstairs and downstairs, wasn't doing a good job but she was always on time.

My experience with them was okay. She was okay. She did the job that I asked her to do. What I disliked was that she used unprofessional language during her first meeting with me. I just felt like that was unprofessional. I also thought that she was a little too expensive for what she was charging.

Called Eld cleaners > 5 times over 3 months (February - May). Never any response. Left 3 messages, no call back.

While the owner was a very, very nice woman who really wanted to help, unfortunately, the results were awful. She had obvious medical conditions and walked with a cane, suffering from severe back pain. It was painful just watching her try to clean my house! She had a young man helping her, who said he had just gotten off the night shift working at Walmart! He was obviously very tired. The owner had to keep telling him what to do .... and in some cases ... how to do it. He broke a clock that was on the wall when he tried to clean the glass cover .... only there was no cover, so he broke the hands. The owner said she would replace it for me if I would like, but it was a cheap clock and I didn't want her to feel bad, so I declined her offer. We were trying to get the house looking good because we were having company staying over the Thanksgiving weekend. I asked them to please concentrate on the guest bedroom and make sure that looked really good. We tried to leave them to their work, but the owner was quite chatty and would just stand there and talk to us as the time ticked away. After they left I was in tears!! In checking our guest room, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the furniture was not dusted .... I don't know what he did in there besides break my clock! There were several pieces of furniture in the living room that were still very dusty, they had never even been touched. I was horrified, especially knowing that now I would have to clean everything before my guests arrived, along with all the other stuff I had to do!!! We were sooooo disappointed in their work. I never did a review on them because I hate to make anyone feel bad. They tried, and they seemed to be working .... but I honestly don't know how my house could still look so bad after they were done 'cleaning'!

The work was done very well. It took longer than I thought it should, but it was done very carefully.

I was looking forward to having someone clean and tidy up my home as I had fallen behind in housecleaning and was expecting out of town company.Provider canceled on morning of scheduled visit. I was disappointed but I could have lived with it had she promptly called and re-scheduled. I left message after message requesting a re-schedule date...began to worry that it was a scam.Called Angie's List and requested a refund. They acted on immediately. Today I got a voice message from a very sick/weak sounding person stating she was ill and apologizing for not getting back to me sooner. The first time it was a stalled truck in her driveway. I understand we all have our spells of misfortune. I can accept that but what I cannot accept is the unresponsiveness. Under the circumstances, I do not feel comfortable working with this provider.

She did an excellent job and I hired her to clean my home twice a month permanently.

They did a great job. They came ahead of time to see how long it would take and to explain the process to my mom, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the communication from this provider. I had to go through Angie's List to get in touch with her to follow through with the Big Deal I purchased. I understand that she had some extenuating circumstances, but I think she should have kept me informed since I had been on her schedule for quite a while for the date I was expecting her to come. I appreciate that she did follow through with her commitment and completed the work for Christmas.

This is very difficult for me to write. I am doing this because I turn to Angie's list for honest opinions on workmanship, therefore I feel I need to give this same respect in return. We purchased the Fall Cleaning package for $149 which included deep cleaning of the house, emptying of the garbage, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of the kitchen and kitchen cabinets. We are in the process of moving and we really needed a good deep cleaning. We anticipated at least a 4 hour job or more considering the description and the cost. Lynn, the owner and operator of ELD Cleaning Service, was the individual that cleaned our home. She contacted us promptly to schedule a Wednesday appointment. Due to circumstances beyond her control she was unable to make that appointment but she did schedule us for another one 3 days later. Because of her busy schedule she was later than expected but she did make sure to fit us in within that second scheduled day. She was very nice to my family and I. She took a great interest in the arts and the instruments my children are learning to play. She even took time to teach my child a better way to perform on their instrument. She taught through example by playing my child's instrument and then through instruction when my child performed. Lynn arrived much later than we anticipated. She was expected to arrive at 2:00 PM on a Saturday. At exactly 2:00 she called letting me know that she was running late and was unsure as to when she would be there. At 5:00 PM she arrived at our home and we were very concerned about her ability to complete the job adequately. She had a noticeable injury which caused her to walk with a cane. Unfortunately this meant that she needed to make several trips to her car to retrieve her cleaning supplies. She did reassure us that her injury would not effect her level of work. Initially my husband and I walked Lynn through our house and assessed what needed to be cleaned and which areas needed the greatest attention. With our home going on the market we needed to make it picture perfect. She did notify us that Angie's List has described her Fall Cleaning Job inaccurately and it would not be a deep cleaning. She also told us that due to her injury she wouldn't be able to reach higher places in the house for dusting and cleaning purposes. She also told us she normally works with another person but was unable to schedule them due to the holidays. She guaranteed us it would look great though. After about 30 minutes of cleaning she ran out of all cleaning supplies due to her busy schedule. We offered her everything we had available in our house but because of a "rare lung disease caused by some of these harsh cleaners", as she described it, she refused to use them. Instead she used Dawn detergent to clean our bathroom. While my family and I ate dinner she cleaned the lower level of our house but failed to clean the second bathroom. When my family and I had finished eating, while I was working on the laundry, she took a lot of time out of her work to discuss our parenting techniques regarding instrument lessons and practice sessions. After talking to me about her home life and background she proceeded to take a 10 minute break outside. When she returned she asked to use our vacuum cleaner because hers no longer worked. My husband and I had never hired a cleaning service before and we were under the impression that she would have come with a professional grade vacuum cleaner as well as with all the cleaning supplies necessary for a days work. It was while vacuuming that she took several breaks to discuss the poor quality of our newly purchased vacuum cleaner and to give our child instrument instructions. Our child did appreciate the feedback and attention though. At 9:00PM Lynn had completed her job. She walked me around to the areas that were worked on to get my approval. Due to the late hour, the amount of time spent socializing, and the shock of the cost for this experience, I was dishonest with her. I did not tell her how unhappy we were with the job. At this hour I simply wanted my house to myself and a nice glass of wine in hand. She has several options for her cleaning service on Angie's list. For the same amount of time, 4 hours, she is now advertising a $79 DEEP cleaning. I am truly surprised she is continuing to use Angie's list due to the fact that she claim's Angie's list takes a large portion of the pay. That was why our fall cleaning cost so much. I have noticed that her options and descriptions change frequently. Please be mindful of her descriptions vs. services rendered. She is a very nice person and it is heartbreaking and saddening to say that we felt conned. $149 is a lot to pay for a basic cleaning, instrument lesson, and parenting session.

Deep cleaned bathrooms, kitchen and overall cleaning (dust vacuum mop). Lynne is great and will accommodate any reasonable request to focus on ( this last visit she cleaned the outside of my S.S. stove and it looked better than new!). She is starting her business up again after an injury to her knee so she is still getting her equipment together (reason for the B on professionalism) but she does a great job. I will have her back every month to help me out as my wife is disabled and its hard for me to keep the house the way I like it. Lynne makes it possible. Hire her for your housecleaning.

Bought this Big Deal for cleaning service because I knew we were having a work Christmas party at our house. No problem scheduling for Eld to come in the day before the party to clean the house. Right about when they were scheduled to arrive I got a call that the temporary help that she was depending on (who she had never met) didn't show so she would have to cancel. She didn't have her schedule with her for rescheduling. Said she would see if there was any possibility of fitting me in the next day before our party. Never heard back.

I had a date scheduled for November, but ELD canceled because she said there was an issue with the Big Deal, that others she serviced didn't interpret the Deal the same way she did. Since then, we tried to schedule at least 2 other dates, but my schedule changed and I had to cancel (the first date she canceled was the best opportunity for me). This last communication, I provided several dates prior to Christmas, she said none of those we're available and proposed dates after Christmas, to which I responded and asked if she had any dates prior to 12/24, as I would move things on my calendar to make it work, and I never heard back from her. That was on 12/5. She was very pleasant to work with, I have no issues with that, and wanted to make that clear. At this point, I just want to see if I can find someone else before Christmas, which was the whole reason I purchased this deal in the first place.

I was very disappointed with the "fall cleaning". I don't care what kind of cleaning it is, I would only think it would be right to empty the trash from all of the garbage receptacles in my home seeing that there are maybe 5 little trash cans in my house. I do have a trash can in my garage, so I wouldn't ask them to take the trash with them. They were prompt in responding to my purchase of the coupon, came promptly to my home when scheduled to do a walk through and were very friendly and nice. I assumed when April looked in the toilets, they would be cleaned as well so I didn't ask if they were going to clean them. If they did clean them , they were not done adequately. Chairs were not returned to their original position after vacuuming. The vacuuming was quite subpar. I found dirt still in my family room where they missed areas. I thought my shower would be cleaned. All in all very disappointed. I felt like I really paid for a basic vacuum and wipe the counter down job. It was a lot of money for the amount of work that was done. Don't purchase a fall cleaning for that price. They should provide a list of all the duties they include with their " fall cleaning".

The owner quoted me what she would normally charge per hour, which was $35.00 per hour per person. There were 2 people here who stayed for 2 hours, which would be the equivalent of $140.00. However, what I payed for was $300.00 worth of services. The owner's response when I showed her the website was that this was an error on Angie's List' part. However, it was clarified to me by an Angie's List Agent that this was the company's responsibility, not Angie's List. The cleaners did a very nice job on a quick, basic, superficial cleaning, but unfortunately that was not what was advertised on the site. I would have expected a deep cleaning for approximately four hours by two people, or abut $300 worth of work. In other words, they provided a service at the normal cost of the company, but not as the "deal" advertised on Angie's List. In conclusion, I am disappointed with the unfortunate outcome of the "deal," but pleased with the surface cleaning. 10/29/13 In preparing for company one day after the cleaning I found that I had to redo some surfaces, mirrors and floors. Waste cans had not been emptied. Little details of surface cleaning, which I have had done in the past by others, were not attended to. At first glance the work seemed fine, but a second, closer look revealed a less thorough job.

They worked quickly and caused no disruption. I am very happy with their work and I'm having them back to do more cleaning.

We called her and she didn't showed up on time and we had to call her and remind her that we were suppose to meet and then she drove in.

Long story short, ELD is a great value. Schedule 1 visit and see how it goes, I'm sure you'll be impressed My wife and i have two kids and we both work normal hours, we needed occasional help around the house and I started looking for a cleaning service. I considered a few of the big housecleaning companies but I didn't want a contract, a changing cast of maids, or to be locked in to a schedule & set of services that didn't necessarily align with our needs.I gave ELD cleaning a try and have been very impressed with the results. She has been with us for about 4 years now and I've never been disappointed. Sometimes we'd only need her once a month, other times we needed her 6 times a month (we had 5 boys under 7 in the house) but she always tries to accomodate us. She has a routine that we outlined together at the outset and she goes through that whenever she visits. But she's not rigid about it and if you ask her to pay special attention to this area one week and that area next week you can be sure that she will and that you'll be happy with the results.Last and most importantly you can trust ELD. If by chance, she found herself penniless and you had left a pile of cash lying around, not only would you find every penny accounted for, but she would probably have called you to make you aware of it. I trust her with my home and everything in itand these 4 years I have never had any reason to question that trust.
