 + 3 moreI searched high and low for a contractor to work on my chimney and no one would touch it. Until I came upon East Side Chimney. I explained my situation over the phone and Mike the owner said "I'm your man" Well I set a date to have him come out. He lived up to his words. The professionalism and impeccable work ethics of the entire team was beyond extraordinaire. His price is unbeatable. Mike showed up at 7:30am and was non stop till the job was complete at 6pm. During the day things looked bleak but what he said to me was "I don't give up" and he didn't . The end result is I now have a Chimney that was built in 1921 completely repaired + liner + install of wood stove insert. East Side should be your only go to for all your chimney needs. This was no ordinary chimney repair request. Very extensive labor.

Description of Work: The guys at East Side were overall just excellent! Mike explained all of the issues my chimney had and gave me multiple options repair &cost wise. My crown was shot which was the root of my problems. |No pressure or hassle, the work was scheduled in with their busy schedules within a week! |Mike will be back in the spring to see how many more bricks they will need to chip & fill in on the other side of my chimney (after old man winter is done). It's tough to find good/honest/fair priced masonry people these days and I'm very pleased with East Side Chimney.

 + -1 moreMike originally came out to inspect the chimney, went on the roof and photographed the damage, some of which was visible from the ground and some which was not, and showed the photos to me.Gave me a quote. It was my second quote and far less than the prior one. After removing the existing stucco down to the brick, and the upper clay flue liner, photographed the lower portion of the flue liner which was severely cracked. Recommended a metal flue liner and cap given the condition of the lower clay liner, and gave me a quote on that work. Completed the work in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: Replace cracked chimney crown Tear down stucco to the underlying brick above roof line, replace with waterproof specialized concrete material Replace upper portion of clay flue liner Install metal flue liner and cap Replace cracked crown on a second chimney
