Awesome job

This project was a nightmare……. And worst of all the owner takes no responsibility for mistakes he has made. A $9500 concrete patio, 4 months later has cracked concrete halfway through the project already (and yep, it is jumping right through the cut lines, which he claimed wouldn’t happen!) He washed his hands of it and refused to help, since he has gotten paid! I brought in another concrete contractor who said that there needed to be a 4 inch crushed stone base layer, and rebar below our grill/island as well as more cut lines. During the process, I actually questioned him on these things and he talked like he knew what he was doing……. he claimed that the base of breaking up old concrete, was just as good as crushed stone - which very little crushed stone was actually used, compared to the size of the project. Broken up concrete - doesn’t allow proper drainage, like he claimed it did. I questioned doing rebar underneath the whole patio since we were putting in a gas firepit and grill / island - which was sitting in our yard and no secret. He claimed the wire mesh was strong enough to hold a car on the patio and it will last us another 40 years……… But turns out he blamed it all on us for having a gas line put in. (It didn’t even shoot in at the point of the crack, it shot in at the long end) I let go of the fact that the finish looked awful, and chalky - which the concrete is supposed to be a mocha brown, since they sealed it when it was still wet and snowed an hour later (this was the fault of the manufacturer) or the siding that had concrete all over it and the edging that wasn’t finished nicely against the house (this was the fault of an employee that called in on the day of the job) and took me weeks to scrub the concrete off the siding, not too mention the broken up concrete they didn’t remove that sat in our yard for 2 months……… In the end, we were left with a crack that continues to spread only 4 months later, and a chalky looking finish - that will take years to come off and an uneven edge against the house……….. And a contractor that refuses to do anything to make it right and blame us homeowners that trusted him to be the expert.

I had them replace our landscaping stones and mulch. They were also supposed to bury my downspouts. I paid then half at the end of day 1. When they finished I asked why they didn't bury the downspouts... They said they forgot and took off 100.00 to leave 2 as is and bury just one. I agreed. I told them when I would be home from work for them to do it and they took it upon themselves to do it when I was not there. I came home and found the downspout approx 8 inches away from the house at the bottom. Creating a safety hazard. I called. They quickly went from agreeable and helpful to rude and unprofessional. They stated they did the best they could without me there to 'guide them' I'm not sure how a landscaper makes money if they need someone standing over there shoulder telling them they are doing their job wrong. So they told me to keep the other half of the money and pay someone to come fix it. Which I did. And today when someone reputable came out... And dug up the work this guy did... He found that my downspout had an extension piece added on to make it long enough to go maybe 4 inches under the ground... And that was it. No pvc pipe. No drainage. Just my old downspout stuck in the ground... On a pitch that the water would not run out of it... W a cut off soda bottle stuck on the end of it. Buried downspouts are buried for a reason..to get water away from a house. Not to simply take them out of sight. This company was a nightmare from the minute they got paid half up front. So beware... They are incredibly helpful, kind and professional until they have money in their pocket. Do not use these guys.

The staff went over and beyond the job expectations and met an unexpected challenge early on in the job with flexibility and ease. My front steps look gorgeous and I could not be happier with the result!!!!!

My wife and myself are preparing to sell and I was attempting to tackle a bunch of projects myself and needless to say i was overwhelmed when I called angel to see if I could even afford to have someone come in and help in a time when getting a contractor to even show up was difficult angel was there when he said he would be and gave me an estimate I didn't even flinch at he was fast and punctual very nice guy he was the first contractor we ever used and we would definitely use again no buyer's remorse best money I've ever spent

Perfect. Angel did an excellent job. He kept the timeline he said he would from the beginning. Angel also did some additional work for me by casing a window. Clean and meticulous.

we had a small out of the norm patio put in to tie into driveway and ramp . i was unsure how it would work out but these guys did a fabulous job !!! it’s perfect . it’s now a safe transition for my mom and guests !! would highly recommend !!

Job went very well. Angel was very professional while dealing with our job. He paid close attention to all the details pertaining to the work.

Poorly. The biggest issue is not that the quality of Angel's work is subpar (which it is).... it's that he refuses to accept responsibility and to remedy the problem(s). 1) Several stones are loose in place and rocking when you walk on them. 2) About a dozen joints have the polymeric sand crumbling and breaking out chunks. Angel blames us (for walking on the surface prematurely, which is not true), and blames the manufacturer (Aztec) of the polymeric sand (Easy Joint) for a defective product. But this is a product that he elected to use (as the craftsman), proposed (in the contract), purchased and applied. It seems unreasonable to me that I should, as Angel insists, take up my quality concerns with the manufacturer directly.

Angel the owner was wonderful. He responded in a timely manner to any questions I had. We had a tough time getting it done because of the large amount of rain we had but Angel was very good with communication. Throughout the whole process his main concern was that my wife and I were happy. We are extremely happy. Great job. We love our patio.

Angel Robledo ( the owner) was awesome. He was extremely polite, and prompt. In fact I found him as he was working on a neighbors walkway and mentioned that my rise to my front porch was 12", a safety hazard for my 80+ year old Mom. He came over during his break, assessed the property, gave me a quote and told me he would try and squeeze me in within two weeks. He showed up the next morning to set the rebar and came back that afternoon to finish the job. He too was concerned for my Moms safety, so he came quickly. The step is beautiful! and works perfectly. Things went very well, and we so appreciated what they did. It wasn’t an easy job, but these guys are perfectionists, and it showed. Impressive work overall!

My wife and I wanted to get a concrete patio as soon as possible to enjoy some time in our backyard. We reached out to Ángel and he responded immediately. He really was aware of our budget and gave us an amazing price. Initially, I decided to go with someone else after speaking to ángel because they offered to get the job done at an early time. BAD MOVE! The guy never came through. I reached back out to ángel and he was very professional and understanding. He didn’t make me feel bad for trying to go with someone else. I made sure to book ángel and ignore anybody else. He came in the day that he said he was and finished the work in the time frame that he said he will. He was professional, timely and informative. He educated me to make sure that I made the best decision. It’s rare to find people who are working for the interest of the customer but Angels priority is to make sure the customer is happy. I have already referred my family and friends and I do it confidently because Angel has given me that confidence through his work. I love my patio and i can’t wait for my next project with Angel!
