DP Customs

they started the 2nd week of November and they did not come back and did not finish the job. they painted the doors and hang it in the kitchen. tried to contact them but they are not responding. the agreement they should finish it before thanks giving but they did not come back to finish the job.

Painting was done several months ago (2 rooms), no complaints. Was here on time and even had to do a 3rd coat in one room because the paint quality I had chosen was not that good. Exterior work was quoted on a Thursday and then completed the very next day. Appreciated the prompt service.

Derrick was excellent to work with as a GC, very concerned for the quality of work. Roland, who was the painter for the project was wonderful to work with; pleasant and efficient - well experienced - his trim-work was excellent. I personally believe in sticking with and supporting a good contractor with repeat business when you can. We will be calling on DP Customs again for quotes in the future as needs arise.

Good. Although they painted a different color than we discussed- it turned out good. I was pleased with the cost and quality of work

Derek was prompt in responding to my initial contact. He gave me an estimate and got the job done quickly. Both Derek and his employee Tim were polite, professional and got the job done.

I'm very happy with the quality of work and extremely happy with the timeliness of the project from start to finish.

We selected DP Customs from a shortlist of four firms we attempted to get quotes from (one firm did not even bother to show up to provide us with an estimate). DP Customs was not the least expensive, or the most expensive, but they did impress me as the one company that understood what they were doing and what the project entailed. They were the only firm to include replacing the cedar shingles that had rotted (the others would only caulk them). The crews that were sent out were hardworking and professional. However at least one crew was subcontracted and there schedule and that of DP Customs seemed to have some conflict as the order of the project seemed to be done in a very illogical way. Such as staining the entire house before replacing the cedar boards that were to be replaced. This only resulted in more work for them, no real effect on the overall outcome of the project. Overall I was pleased with the project and would hire DP Customs again,

They did a good job on most of the work, but not complete on the facia. They don’t have a ladder, climbed up on the roof and layer down next to edge to paint the facia, but could not see what they were painting. Thus they missed some spots.

A little confusion regarding the job at first. Afterwards all went well.

Painted bathroom and dressing area. Tight corners but painter did an excellent job.

In and out fast, painting was done to my satisfaction.

OK. Painting mostly good, but did drip a few times. Made a mess on flour when fixing hole, tried to clean up, but didn't do a good job. should have put down a drop cloth.

Walls and ceilings were well painted. They made a few mistakes, getting some paint on baseboard and some on ceiling fixtures. They did a good job of patching the ceiling, but were messy. They tried to clean up the hardwood floor, but didn't succeed. They should have put down a drop cloth and taped around fixtures.

They painted a large living room and a study. I am very pleased with their service. It was exactly what I wanted.

We had a great experience with DP Customs. After having purchased a Groupon for discounted interior paining, we scheduled an appointment-- the initial phone call was a little brusque. But Jason Branch came to paint our room just a few days after we called and he was wonderful. We couldn't believe the skill with which Jason cut in and did the trim paint without any painters tape. The edges of the room are impeccably even, and the paint was rolled on really smoothly. Also, we have white carpet (!) and the work was done without any stains or issues with paint getting on the floor. We can't say enough about how kind and talented Jason was. We plan to call him in the future for help with other painting jobs.

OK. The owner was a bit brusque, and when asking questions he seemed annoyed. The gentlemen he had doing the work were very friendly. The job took twice as long as I had thought, but that wasn't an issue for me. The painting they did was adequate - in one room there are noticeable lines in the paint and that's why I hired painters, I didn't want lines. I'd hire the specific gentlemen I had painting, but with the awareness of what I was getting.

Job was scheduled for day after call was placed. (Great response!) Was expecting one interior painter for the day, provider sent two painters for the half day. (Equivalent) Quality of overall work was good, but one narrow area between closets showed significant brush marks. Real issue was lack of professionalism: Painters asked for a radio to listen to music (should have brought their own). One painter used microwave to heat his breakfast without permission (while I was out getting second gallon of ceiling paint), and later asked if I had coffee and potato chips for a snack.

The two painters who came to do the work were great. They were polite and courteous, worked efficiently with the time. Their workmanship was superb. They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace (besides great work).

Went well. They were on time & got the job done quickly. They had me remove all outlet & light switch plates, spackle & sand holes/spots before their arrival date. Did great job in bedrooms, but left paint on baseboards in bathroom which could have been wiped off with a damp cloth at the time, but I didn't notice till after he had left & the paint was dry. Just as easy to paint myself than have him come back. The bedrooms were done very well though.

They were supposed to put two coats, but they didn't do that. They didn't do any sealing. I wasn't home, and they sent my wife out to get some more paint, and she went and got it, but she said they didn't even need it. It wasn't good. The interaction was okay. The worst part was that the first guy we got was supposed to repair the dry wall and make it ready to paint it, and he was the worst guy. The cost ended up being like $600 or $700 because they said this room is too big and it counts as 2 rooms, and the other room they did the ceiling, but they didn't do any of the trimming, and in the kitchen they didn't do the trimming around the window sills which I thought would be included. I wouldn't recommend them. The room was 10x12 so everything was extra. The ceilings weren't included and it ended up more than what we thought we would pay. It was misleading. It didn't look very good when they were done.

Great they we in and out quickly and painted the room i did not want to paint. It has a textured ceiling and space above cabinets that's hard to reach. It is not painted like a work of art but you have to remember if you want to get a high end job you can complain about go with a painting company that does that kind of work. These guys did better than me and way faster.

He came out fine in a reasonable amount of time. He did a pretty good job. He seemed eager to leave, but what he did was nicely done. He could have not given the impression that he wanted to leave. He did some things I said and he seemed almost surprised that I asked for more in that same time period.
