The worker quit Dan Fulmer halfway through the job. He left a huge pile of rubble in the yard. Dan Fulmer came and cleaned everything up and finished the job. I was disappointed with the guy did the work initally; the level of professionalism wasn't good.

We had Dan Fulmer do our roof on our first house. So, when we moved and needed a tear-off and new roof, we went back to Dan Fulmer. They did a terrific job. We would recommend them to anyone. Also, see above.

I was quoted almost 8,000 for the roofing project. I choose to stick with someone that gave me a lower quote.

We chose this company because my father dealt with them 40 years ago. We had an appointment with the salesman to go over our color and style options as well as pricing. He was very straight forward and was not pushy nor did he try to over sell. After deciding on what were really wanted we have the company place the order. After the material came in, the crew came started working on the house. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship was outstanding. As they went along they cleaned up all of the old siding, made sure all the seams around the window trim were sealed and took care of all the details you don't think of when you have new siding put on your house. Then the gutter crew came and put up the seamless gutters. We are so grateful for the work that was done on our home.

We received quotes from three contractors, two who we previously worked with and the Dan Fulmer Company who has been receiving good comments in the community. We received higher and lower quotes than Fulmer?s but decided on Fulmer?s because the sales agent Jim Macaluso was easy to work with, provided all the information we needed, was not condescending, offered 25? foot panels (unique), offered a good competitive price with warranty and stood by his Company?s reputation for using their own crews and not abandoning the owner after installation. After we signed the contract, the owner of Dan Fulmer?s agreed to rewrap all the windows because that was the right way of doing the job and appreciated his thoroughness in addressing our job. The actual installers, Dwayne and Joe (over 70 years of experience between the two) were very professional and did not cut corners. They worked hard in 90 degree weather to complete the job and corrected some of the work that had been done by other contractors. They were on the job for nearly two weeks and did not leave until everything was to our satisfaction. The house looks dramatically better. Before they left, we walked around the job and I asked about some small stuff and they not only answered my questions but did the repairs. They even got rid of an old wooden bench for us. They did have to leave the job site 1 day to work on a different job, but were back early the next day. Thanks Dwayne and Joe. We would definitely recommend the Dan Fulmer Company.

My husband is himself a skilled craftsman/mechanic and so we explained to "Mac", the Fulmer representative, that our expectations were very precise. One area of concern that we voiced to him was the need for custom trim around our windows, which butt up to brick facing, and custom wrap of the specific area in the rear of the house which has an unusual intricate custom design. He assured us that we would be assigned an excellent craftsman, Chris, well known for his skills in siding, wrapping, trim and custom work, who has worked for Fulmer for over 20 years. We had explored other siding companies in our area, interviewed their representatives at our home, studied the plans they drew up for our house, and made the final decision to go with the Dan Fulmer Co. As it turned out, this was the best choice we ever made. As promised, the siding mechanic, Chris, proved to be an expert at his craft. He listened to our concerns and wishes, answered our questions, tailored the trim around the windows to perfection, created intricate one-of-a kind wrapping around our unique frame/structures overlooking the patio. The total effect of the siding, trim, and soffits was beyond our expectations. The siding mechanic impressed us with his work ethic ( putting in long hours 6 days a week) and attitude (always punctual, professional, courteous, attentive to details, receptive to our input). After viewing models of trim and wrap work other siding companies provided, we are confident that the custom work we received through Fulmer was superior to any other. As for the gutters, we requested advice on changing the original system that was in place when the house was built. Fulmer's gutter crew met with us to review the situation and consequently installed what turned out to be a great system. However, at first, after the installation, as we inspected the final set-up we anticipated a draining problem might arise with one of the angles of the gutter on the back side of the roof. The crew came back and adjusted the system to our complete satisfaction. This experience was proof of the Fulmer commitment to stand behind their work and respond to their customers' input. We LOVE our "seamless" house and would highly recommend the Dan Fulmer Co. - and specific to our experience, representative "Mac" and siding craftsman Chris who were perfect gentlemen and consummate professionals in delivering a truly fine improvement to our house.

They were on time and very professional during the estimate. When they came do the work, they showed up early ready to get started. I was very pleased with that! During the job they were in and out while cleaning up everything. I couldn't be more impressed with their services. I would highly recommend them!

Outstanding people. I needed to change the scheduled appointment, and they went above and beyond the norm to accomadate me. all work was thoughly explained. additional materials were used, and I was not charged extra for same by the workmen. All materials and debri was cleaned up and removed from both inside and outside my home.

Every project was done so well - with such professionalism and efficiency - that it is hard to imagine trusting our home improvements to anyone else! Our heat loss problems have been eliminated while the beauty of our home is enhanced. No more ice dams, drafts or frost on the windows. They patiently explained every process and guaranteed all work. We recommend Fulmer Co. because they do everything right the first time and can be easily reached at any time! They showed up promptly at the time and days scheduled. Everyone has been proficient, adept and friendly. They are competent craftsmen using quality products and provide excellent results.

They were awful. Their bid was very high, they wanted to play the negotiation game, and he three times he forgot our appointment and didn’t show up.

The job took nearly two days. Bob and Brian tore off and replaced porch roof and repaired front siding to house on the first day. .......they also made sure the area was all cleaned up before they left the first day. The second day did not go as planned because the leak was greater than expected. The leak extended beyond the chimney area to the side of house. Steve indicated they would need to remove a greater part of the roof area and that all damaged plywood would need replacement. This was a surprise, however Steve indicated that to do this repair correctly two sheets of plywood and more shingles would be needed. Steve did NOT charge extra for this extra work, that is I only paid extra for two sheets of plywood ($96).....all of the flashing, repair to siding (I had siding left from original house siding job), Steve purchase matching roof shingle at no cost to me. ....for info, the contract does call for extra payment ($50/sheet) on plywood if needed for replacement. The original bid (plus $100) completed the entire job. I am very satisfied with the entire job and would recommend Dan Fulmer for my next job. They left the job sight clean and work was extremely professional. Bob was the main supervisor on the job and he completed the workmanship as if this was his home. I was very pleased to have him on this job.

The two guys who did the job communicated really well with what they were doing; if they would be showing up on Saturday or if they had to leave early. We were never like, "Where are they?" or "Are they showing up today?", that kind of thing. That was one thing. The two of them worked really well together. They each had their pieces that they did. The guy who did the trim, in particular, was really a fine craftsman. He kind of folded it and made it look nice. Those were the high points. They were great. We had no complaints whatsoever about them.

An unbelievable and awful experience. My initial contact with a salesman (Marshall) went very well. He provided me with an estimate and I was initially sold by his presentation. The next contact I had, they said this person was no longer with the company. So they sent out another individual. There was a break in communication with the appointment time so I called the main number. A Mr Larue answered the phone who later turned out to be the owner of the company. I tred to talk with this individual about the appointment and how the office stated the salesman would be out but would call first, he was rude, stated it was my fault, said i had an atitude, used vulgarity and hung up on me. I am just grateful that I did not invest 25k dollars in this company that is run by a rude and monstrous individual. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had an issue in the middle of a job.

They did a good job but it did seem a little pricey.

I had gotten a quote 2yrs ago for a tear off. I had been noticing some more deterioration on the caps and had been seriously lookling to have it done. The roofing person came out, stood on the ground and told me the prices had gone up so add another $3,000 to the quote. He also told me it was mostly cosmetic and would be good for another couple of years. Again he never went up on the roof. We had called a second contractor and he actually went up on the roof. He proceeded to put his hand through a spot on the roof and the shingles were cracking under his feet. He also noticed a place where it was leaking around a skylight. I guess Dan Fulmer was too busy for what turned out to be a $12,000 roof.

Their estimate was $6000 which was high. We ended up going with someone who was $2000 cheaper. They were very professional and put an emphasis on making sure everything was cleaned out. We have a 2 year old and it was important that he did not step on a nail or anything. It took about 1.5 weeks to hear back from them. We were surprised because this was a major job.

The workers from Dan Fulmer Company are very neat. They are very fast. They are very polite. They are easy to work with. They clean up after themselves. The room was cleaner when they left than when they came in. They are really good people. I liked what they did. They are very reliable. They come when they say they are going to come. I would recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Came out and gave estimate. Gave lots of materials which was good. Seemed knowledgable, but never mentioned we had ventilation problems which two other contractors both pointed out and I agree with. Price was about 10-20% more than the other two contractors (whose estimate also included changing ventilation.) Showed up on a snowy day and the roof was snow covered so he based his statement that we needed a roof on us and the fact it is 22 years old. While not a bad guess, wasn't pleased. Other contractors called and asked to change the appointment to later so the roof would be clear of snow. Also this contractor did not request to see the inside of our attic even though I had said we had some leakage that I believed was from a bad roof vent. Then the main stopper was he came into our kitchen without removing his wet boot.s. (Later after he waled around the house he did remove his boots).

One of my biggest pet peeves is shoes! Paul gave me a bad impression right off the get go because he did not take his shoes off before coming into my house. I had newly cleaned hardwood floors that I had to wipe down after he left. I felt that Paul was very "salesman like" and the quote he gave us was very expensive in comparison. It was at least $9,000 more than the previous estimate. I had five estimates total and all of them were around the $6,000-11,000 mark except for his which was $20,000!!!! Then he threw in a 20% discount...still way overpriced. Plus, he never even went up on my roof to check it out? Every other person that came out got a ladder and went up on the roof to see what the job entailed. He just looked at the house from the backyard and gave us an estimate in under five minutes. They may do great work, but my first impression was not a good one. I chose a different roofer instead.

Dan Fulmer did a great job with the installation but there was some miscommunication regarding how the framing would be completed. They quickly sent a designer out to ensure that we had the type of frame we wanted around the door. Work was done very promptly after that, even in the cold and snowy weather. The finished product looks great!

They do roofing, siding and gutters. They did a good job on the roof. However, it is hard to tell because there was snow on the ground and they didn?t do a really great job of cleaning up. It was okay, but I couldn?t really blame them. We had two quotes and their price was good. They are very well known in the area. There was a piece of siding that was damaged by them, but I called them once and they haven?t come back yet. I probably have to give them another call. They came when they said they were going to come. I would probably use their services again.

They came over to measure and they answered all my questions. They were very knowledgeable. They are pricey but they are very good. It is worth the money.
