Description of Work: Paul the owner, office staff, and workers are top notch all around! Paul worked with me from start to finish with options to irradicate attic mold and to increase insulation in the attic itself to eliminate further mold growth. The workers were on time, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy and will recommend them to friends and family.

Description of Work: We had water leaking into our basement via a window frame and noticed mold on our carpet (finished basement) recently. Without knowing how long water had been leaking in, we were concerned about a greater issue underneath the carpet/drywall. The man who came told us it was a small area of black mold and to just wash the carpet with soap and water to get the mold out, and if the mold comes back then we have a further issue underneath that small spot. I guess this was a way to test matters without having to rip up the carpet/drywall, but I can't say I feel very comfortable with his suggestion. If I have any possibility of black mold under that carpet (which common sense would almost confirm in my mind), I want someone to take measures to fix it ASAP. I found it very odd that he did not feel the same.

Description of Work: Removed all walls, ceiling and framing down to the block walls. Removed all debris. Treated all areas of the basement EPA approved disinfectant. Cleaned and HEPA vacuumed all surfaces and applied two coats of Mold Proof Coating all all block walls. Drilled 5/8 inch drainage weep holes on all lower block to relieve water pressure in block and installed plastic covers to over the weep holes to divert water to the trench. Lifetime Warranty on no return of mold growth on all areas where mold proof paint has been applied as long as we own the home.

Description of Work: They removed old paneling,treated all the walls for mold and installed a dehumidifier. As they performed the work the area was blocked off from the rest of the house so no materials could escape. Products used were non allergic and minimal smell. |

Description of Work: We had the mold removed from our basement and attic, as well as weep holes drilled and everything painted with mold resistant paint. They also installed a roof vent for the attic. They were very prompt and left everything clean. So far everything seems great and we've had no further problems.

+ -1 moreTwo young men, John and Nick, arrived on time, were very polite and courteous. They worked very hard on 2 of the most hot and humid days of the week. They performed the necessary work and at the end of the job they explained the details of what had been done. They removed all debris and left the basement very clean. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I was very impressed with their performance and professionalism, and extremely satisfied with the job they did. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: Treated basement walls for removal of mold, which included cleaning and vacuuming the block walls, applying 2 coats of mold proof coating, drilling 5/8 inch drainage weep holes on all lower block walls to relieve water pressure in the block, installing plastic covers over weep holes to divert water into the trench, installing Sante Fe "Classic" whole house dehumidifier.

+ -1 moreI knew that before I did anything with my basement to make it a little more user-friendly, I should find out if mold was an issue and get that taken care of. I called in two companies, one being CMM (Paul Wagner is the owner). I liked both Paul and the other owner and trusted what they were telling me, Neither used scare tactics or tried in any way to exaggerate the nature of the problem. However, in the end, I felt more comfortable with Paul and his approach to the problem. So, despite the fact that his estimate was $1000 more, I decided to go with CMM. Paul worked with me to bring the price down a bit and was very accommodating in many other ways as well. The work began right on schedule and was finished within the week, even though I was certain it was going to extend over into the following week. Other than some unavoidable noise, tThere was virtually no disruption to my home or my life in general. The crew doing the work were just wonderful. I can't say enough good things about them. They were friendly, courteous, super-nice to my dog, clean - you name it. Just like Paul, they were as accommodating as they could be. In the end, the basement feels better, looks better, and is much healthier. I highly recommend CMM.

The people from Comprehensive do a fine job. But the people from the other company just extended the scope a bit more and solved more problems than what they were proposing. They didn’t charge me for the quote. They were very responsive.

He checked a number of other areas in my house that I had questions about and was patient with my questions and very open and honest about what did and especially what did not need to be done. The team did a wonderful job and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The basement looks great and is so much drier and more comfortable.
