COMFORTABLE CARPETS

A friend recommended them to me. I always say keep money in the family, so to speak. My builder allowed me to use their services. It was the worst mistake I ever made. 1) When they installed my flooring the linoleum was defective. The installer called the owner who said to install it anyways, hoping that I would not see it. It was very obvious. 2) As they reinstalled the flooring they marked up my walls. Even my closet wall were marked up. Comfortable Carpets tried to blame the builder for the marks. I have known my builder for awhile. He is a perfectionist and would not lie to me. The builder called me to make me aware. Comfortable carpets refused to pay for the painter to do touch up work. My builder somehow convinced them it is best to fix their mistake. 3) Comfortable carpets, unknown to me, lost their mason. The owner decided to try his hand at it. He did a terrible job; corners did not match and lines were off. They came back 4 times to fix it. I took pictures every time, that paid off when I took them to court. The judge was amazed at their horrible attempt to fix the problem. I won the my case. 4) Also, when they installed the ceramic tile and linoleum flooring, they cut the bottom of the door jams 1" too high. My builder was seeing red by this time. He told them they had to pay for all new door jams. I will never do business with them ever again. I recommend you take my warning into consideration when choosing them. They made my new home experience a nightmare. My builder was very supportive.

Comfortable Carpets did a good job. The only thing that they did wrong was they mis-measured. They had to come out later to finish the job. Everything else went well.
