Comfort Windows

Description of Work: Replaced all windows in house (10). Also replaced front & deck storm doors. They estimated 3 days for job & were able to finish in 1 1/2 due to putting additional men on the job. MOST APPRECIATED!

Description of Work: Before making our decision we visited Rochester's showroom a few times and met the manager, the sales representative Eric, and other employees. They were very polite, friendly (especially the manager), and helpful. After some discounting the prices we got were reasonable. |The company replaced five windows and one door system unit consisting of a door, two sidelites, and a transom. The two jobs were done separately by two different crews. The crew members were polite, competent, did a good job. However on both occasions the work was not finished on the first day as planned. Our old windows were new construction vinyl windows and replacing them required a little bit of extra work. As we were told the company deals a lot with this type of windows and did not make a big fuzz about it as some other companies do. However when there was an issue how to fill in an extra space between the window and the interior casing the main carpenter seemed without much experience at this matter and my husband helped to make a decision. The new windows were put in from the outside so the interior casing was untouched. |A few critical points. The sales representative had tendency for exaggeration and even misrepresentation. The crew pressured us to make full payment even though the work was not fully completed. The white vinyl of the windows has a blue shade. The windows glass protects from the sunshine less than we expected and saw in the showroom. The glass in the sidelites and transom protects little from the sunshine and the heat. |

Description of Work: Replaced front entry door and side lights and installed a storm door. Salesmen were very helpful including one not making the sale. Very satisfied with the quality of the unit and installation. During demolition, 3 floor tiles were broken, an accident that probably could have been avoided. A repair was made with some prodding, but the original tiles are no longer available.

Description of Work: replaced 45 yrs. old windows w/ double pane (16 windows). very professional. house was clean inside & out afterwards. no problem w/ any windows. heating bill was lower next month

Description of Work: Provided estimate for 4 Season SunRoom. Answered all questions and concerns. Were satisfied so we contracted with them. Them are currently installing the sunroom and all is as expected.
