Colors & Colors

Unfortunately no work was completed. We hired them in June of 2016 with hope that we would be at the top of the list of houses painted in 2017. Not the case. After receiving a very detailed quote in June of 2016 of the work to be completed, we had very high hopes and expectations. The beginning of the season came and went in 201 with no communication from Colors and Colors. Having painted professionally in my previous life I understood what could delay and exterior job. Weather plays a huge role as you can imagine. We did have a pretty rainy spring and beginnning to the summer so I gave them a pass. I think the most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Not once did anyone from Colors and Colors contact us to let us know they were still coming. June 1st. I made the first "are you still coming" phone call and was assured they were still coming. July 1st was my second call, again was assured we were on the schedule and they were a little behind. August 1st was an other call to again ask if they still planned on completing the job in 2017. September 1st was my final phone call which was not answered. Sept. 11th was an email to Eric Anderson expressing my frustration with him and his company for the complete lack of professionalism. That email has still not been answered. I am still in desperate need of a reliable painter. Do NOT hire these guys as you will be severely disappointed.

The fireplace was a real challenge and they did something really different. They were great, absolutely. My neighbor came in and she loved it. She had them do her house. In fact, I actually am going to be calling them because I have some work that I want them to do again. It was primarily Tom who owns the business and he did have one person helping him through part of it, but they were both very good. Tom is excellent, Tom Johnston. He is very reliable, very neat, very knowledgeable and creative. He just was wonderful to work with.

Excellent! Very high quality with attention to fine detail and an absolutely beautiful result. Very hard working, pleasant perfectionists. Helpful with additions and recommendations along the way. I've previously used Colors & Colors, and will definitely contact them again for future needs.

Owners came immediately and gave me an estimate. Reasonable cost for the amount of work I wanted done. They scheduled the work for 2 weeks later, arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. There was additional work which needed to be coordinated with another contractor and this was done seemlessly and ensured there was no delay in the project. Owners have a great sense of color and helped me pick tones to go best with the natural light in the house. The workers are meticulous, polite, professional. Exceptional work by a great company.

They arrived as scheduled on both days and completed the work ahead of time, even though one of the rooms was small and very hard to work in. The staff was friendly, genial and very hard working. They were careful of my property and a pleasure to have in my home. They use eco-friendly methods for wallpaper removal, which I really appreciated. The quality of the work was a very good value for the money spent. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends. They are a small company with a creative flair, ecological outlook, and work with you graciously on the small projects that higher-end contractors may not be very interested in. They made me feel that my business was important, even though it was a small job.
