+ 1 moreI worked with Richard Doyle directly. He and his staff are super nice, professional and honest. Richard has been doing wood working and remodeling for over 30 years and has a excellent reputation. I gave a "B" on price only because he sells and does quality work. So it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! So no - it's really a "A" but it is high end quality. I had this idea for a dream kitchen and he made it come true. I wanted "Zebra wood" frameless cabinets and he was the only reseller for the company that I thought could deliver the product that I wanted. Turned out the cabinet website pictures were not really what they sold as far as finishes. We spent months finding all the right manufactures to make the cabinets and do the veneers. He loved the challenge and really never charged me for the time he put in to get it right and it was right! These are not Ikea flimsy frameless cabinets. Mine have dovetail joints and solid wood with soft close hardware. 1963 kitchen and bath to 2030 modern. Love it.

The kitchen is beautiful and is having professional pictures taken for a kitchen competition. Excellent kitchen designer is part of the team. Great electrician and plumber, and hardwood floors and tiling came out great.

+ 1 moreThey were sort of on the higher end but they were absolutely excellent. They had an architectural drawing of the kitchen in all and we agreed to the plan and they to our needs. He was so well organized he knew every day what should be done in a day and he would come by every day to check and make sure that the work was done. He had a master carpenters working and they were all the best. They were all at the top of their trade. The thing I liked about them is that the guy who was in charge, he came by every single day and made sure that the work was done and done on time. He hit the price right on the head. He was right on the price he quoted and he was very close maybe a $100 off. He was always reachable and we were able to get him on his cell phone. It took him 5 weeks to the day to complete the job. But they did a complete tear down of all the plaster, the ceiling, re-did the siding on the one side of the house because it had wood siding. My wife and I could not react because we had heard so many horror stories about how the work is never complete. When it was done there was nothing to call back.
Description of Work: I had the kitchen redone by Bryce & Doyle. They did a complete tear down of the kitchen right down to the studs, took out all the plaster, and redid everything. They took out a wall, did the insulation, the ceiling, reinstalled everything, put in a new door way and did the new dry wall and tiled the floor.

+ -1 moreVery please - highly recommend Bryce and Doyle. Generally the project went very well. The design was wonderful - definitely beyond the standard design but classic so it fit the character of our house and decor, while very easy to clear. We had a schedule of activities at the start. Schedule was adhered to pretty well. Contractors controlled the dust as well as could be expected. They cleaned up each day. Each of the individuals who worked on the project were very knowledgeable, pleasant and performed high quality work. There were a few glitches which one might expect in a major project. Every issue we identified was addressed quickly. The owner of the company, Richard Doyle came over to inspect the work a number of times and responded to any questions or issues we had. The resulting bathroom far exceeded our expectations.
Description of Work: Full remodel of an existing bathroom in an old home. All flooring, sub floor, walls plumbing, wall and floor tile, and plumbing fixtures were replaced. The work included shoring up the floor from water damage. Plumbing had to be moved, tub was replaced with a fully tiled walk-in shower.

+ -1 moreIt went exceptionally well. Site manager was in contact with me daily if not on premises. I was given a calender of how the project would proceed on a day-by-day basis informing me when drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing and cabinetry, etc. would be installed, the length of time it would take and who the installers were. There was a lockbox on the back door which made access to the house easy for workers. Once the kitchen, powder room and laundry room were gutted, the project moved quickly and followed the calender. The quality of materials, carpentry, design and managing of the project was excellent. After the end of the day, everything was always cleaned up. Communication was also excellent with the manager contacting me consistently. What was best was the pace of the work. There were no long breaks during the project and we had access to our kitchen with water in 4 weeks. There was no stress or worry about what was being done, when it would be done or who would be doing it. All was organized and went smoothly. The kitchen turned out beautiful and all in working order.
Description of Work: My kitchen was totally gutted and re-built. New cabinetry installed. New lighting/electrical, new plumbing, tiling, flooring, drywall and granite counters installed. Design of kitchen was completed by Bryce and Doyle designer prior to start of project. Also included in project was installing new cabinets in powder room and laundry room. Carpentry included crown moldings, a built-in bench, puck and accent lighting and light fixtures and built in appliances with gas cook-top and double built in ovens. The carpentry included bead board installation with cherry wood counters as accents. Richard Doyle's design center was a great place to pick out cabinetry, tiling, wood accents, hardware, etc. Amy Kruger designed the kitchen with initial sketching after meeting with me at my house. Designs were excellent in detail. She was very knowledgable in assisting in picking out tiling, granite lighting fixtures and bringing wonderful and creative detail ideas which brought the whole kitchen together. Tom Kilminster was the site manager and carpenter who did all lthe installation and superior detail work. He was superior in his ability to work with wood as well as see the completed project and make sure that everything came together. When he saw something that needed to be changed or modified he immediately addressed it and made it look beautiful. Richard Dolye was always available and responded immediately to any of may concerns or questions. He also made sure that whatever changes I requested were implemented quickly. If there were items that I requested he would inform me of the price change and Tom would discuss with me how and when the changes would take place.

I am so pleased witht he professionalism, punctuality and workmanship of all involved in this project. Everyone I met during this process was friendly and helpful. The plumber was even great enough to come back after job completion and help out with a problem I had unrelated to the kitchen remodel. I would highly recommend Bryce & Doyle for any remodeling/building project, you have to see their showroom, amazing!

+ -1 moreBryce and Doyle were very friendly from the time I walked into their showroom. They have a designer that does all of the space planning and a very nice staff that is promp and professional. The only complaint I had was that I was new to home ownership and remodeling and I wish they had sat down with me and told me line by line - you have to do this, pick this out, go buy this, etc... instead I felt rushed with my decisions b/c they had started to work and I hadn't picked certain things out (like a shower drain cover or something like that). I also wished they had someone that worked a little more on the interior design side along with the space planning. At any rate, all of the contractors they worked with were great, clean, efficient and prompt. I would recommend them to anyone. And their showroom is beautiful as well!

+ 3 moreThey were very creative in their design ideas. I truly appreciated their willingness to incorporate our ideas into the project. They offer talented workmanship. They showed up as scheduled throughout the entire process and they communicated very well in all aspects of the job.
Description of Work: They completely remodeled my entire full sized bathroom. They brought the bathroom down to the bare walls and built it back again. The process took 4 months. It included the drywall, installation of a new toilet, sink, shower and tub along with new flooring.
