Brian McManus, the owner was very accommodating and responsive. However, the painting job was very, very sloppy e.g. Paint dripped on the following:-Air conditioning condenser, window frames, window panes, porch and window screens(which I will need to replace), porch door, stone on front next to garage and underneath front bow window , gutters and downspouts and on one section of my yard gate. - Missed some sections: e.g. since I had the house re-painted the same color, it was hard to detect at first, but some areas of the house were missed or the paint coat not sufficiently applied particularly soffits and foundation. I had to have the painters return for at least 3 times. Brian always came when he said he would. Even though I am still finding evidence of sloppy work, I have given up and will either fix the rest myself or hire someone else to do it. Other areas of concern: Brian and the painters were aware of obvious areas of sloppy work that I did not immediately see but said nothing nor did they take any action to address the areas on their own. They tended to leave it to me, the homeowner, to discover and point out the areas of concern. Once I pointed the areas out they were very responsive and nice about addressing them but it should not have had to be that way, considering the price I paid. I expected a higher degree of professionalism. Finally, I do appreciate the fact that I got the work done (such as it is) early this season. What I would do differently would be not to assume high quality without thorough monitoring. Also, I would not make final payment until all areas of concern are addressed even though Brian was good about addressing issues after final payment was made.

They were very good. The job went very well and they were very cooperative. The communication was great. The price was reasonable.

These are great guys to work with! They take their business seriously, especially since most of it comes from word-of-mouth. They are very professional but personable as well. Brian arrived on time and was able to give a complete estimate with a description of how they would complete the work. Total job was done within three weeks mostly due to weather related delays. They did ask for 1/2 of the estimated price upfront to buy materials and half upon completion. We didn't hesitate because Brian only lives a few blocks from us and our in-laws have used them several times over the past 20 years for painting and roofing without any issues. With their excellent attention to detail our home was transformed and several neighbors have commented on the excellent job the McManus brother's have done!

The work was delayed due to a week and a half of solid rain, but he came as quickly as possible. They worked very hard to get 4 days' work done in 3. Our neighbors were inpressed with their professionalism as well. They took care to clean up after themselves thoroughly everyday. When I first met with Brian, he gave me several tips of things to ask other contractors if we decided not to go with him. His quote was in line with everone else's, even though his covered more work. He came out to see us again a day after they finished to make sure that we were satisfied with their work. We couldn't be happier and would recommend his services to anyone.

It was a fairly good experience: very good in some ways and not as good in others. The crew was very pleasant and responsive. Be aware that the owner isn't very organized in some areas and keeps track of things mostly in his head, so some details can go missing. So it's really up to you to check up on the process. Don't assume it's going along according to the plans you outlined together! That said, I believe he will make good on problems or mistakes generated from his end. If you don't mind a little chaos in the procedure, McManus could be a great hire for you. If you are anxious about these kinds of projects and have a hard time being assertive, these may not be the guys for you. The house looks great and overall I'm happy with the work that was done.

Brian got back to us very quickly with an estimate. The ETA for services was out a couple of months because of his backlog. I had to follow up with him to schedule the actual service. Brian had an earlier opening that fit very well with our schedule. He got in with the right staffing level and completed the job to our great satisfaction in 5 days. He even gave us some extras we weren't expecting. For instance, he painted all of our metal stair railings. That kind of finishing touch that really made the work shine.

Brian is awesome and I really like him a lot. His crew is fabulous and I really like them to. I am going to hire him again to paint my new house when I move. I felt that the price that he charges is very reasonable. He is very dependable and he and his crew were fantastic all the way through. They did an excellent job painting.
