Description of Work: I wanted my furnace cleaned so we could see our house. They never returned emails, phone calls, or scheduled with me. I am disabled so I am always available. I went with Napora instead, they have been great.

Description of Work: High efficiency furnace and AC replacement. Great cost. Appears to be quality work. Having a bigger crew would have made for a quicker install, but overall, very happy.

Description of Work: Inspected 2 furnaces, repaired one and replaced the other with a new high efficiency furnace at very good price. Sheetmetal workmanship was functional but not pretty. Scheduling caused tenant troubles.

Description of Work: What initially started out as a no heat call in one of my apartments on a Saturday afternoon when I could not reach my regular HVAC man I went to Angie's list. I texted Todd of Berkeley Heating and he was very responsive and communicated very well throughout. The required part for the 30+ year old furnace was a challenge to find (a mercury switch) and not inexpensive. Since I was on borrowed time with the furnace anyway I asked him for a quote to replace the that furnace and an adjacent one that was the same age. Both were down-draft furnaces located in an attic. By the next morning he had the quote which I roughly price verified on-line and seemed fair. He had both furnaces installed within a little over a day. Tenants are happy. I'm happy. Todd seems very honest, reliable and straightforward. I would certainly use him again.

Description of Work: I had Berkeley perform the annual maintenance on two furnaces. |They were able to perform the service within just a few hours of when I called. They were courteous, knowledgeable and fast.

Description of Work: This was the second time I used them since they were so good the first time. The gentlemen were very professional, friendly and clean. They were efficient and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them again to anyone for plumbing/HVAC needs.

Description of Work: Berkeley Heating and Cooling installed central air conditioning in my boiler heated home. This was a very difficult job requiring them to create duct work for the cool air. Todd and his crew were responsive, on time, and meticulous. They did an excellent job and were careful to ensure that the entire home would be cooled. They were also very respectful of maintaining the integrity of the molding and hardwoods in my older home, and the ducts are barely noticeable. They always cleaned up after a days work. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Todd and a coworker came out and performed an inspection and tune up of the air conditioner and furnace. After we arranged a convenient date by e-mail they were there right on time and ready to work. They took their time, answered all of my questions and explained everything they were doing. After I was e-mailed a report of the inspection results. When I need a new furnace or ac I will call Berkeley Heating first.

Description of Work: I have used the services of Berkeley Heating and Cooling in March 2010. They replaced an air conditioning unit with air handler and a compressor at the downstairs of my house. They also added new vent intakes to my air conditioning system.
