+ -1 moreAP arrived when promised. After looking at problem, gave an cost to fix the problem. After fixing problem, showed us that everything was working properly. Very professional, prompt and friendly.
Description of Work: Water was not draining from tub. AP cleaned out the lines and inspected other lines while thet were there. Drain has been working properly ever since.

+ 1 moreI would not recommend them - they told me I could get the cleanup covered by insurance then gave me the name of a clean up company. They said I needed a sewer liner and this was also untrue. They apparrently are in cahoots with Mr. Rooter. I paid an extra 250.00 to find out I didn't need a new sewer or a liner.

+ 0 moreOverall, went very well. AP did the job that 3 other companies wanted to charge about twice as much for the same work. Highly recommend as there prices are reasonable and quality of work is excellent.
Description of Work: Used the camera to see problem in the main drain leading from house to street. Also, used the snake to clean roots from the drain.

+ 2 moreWe were very, very happy with them. They are just excellent people. I was so impressed with them. They are so conscientious. They clean up everything. They wear booties on their shoes. They make sure that everything is working. They are on time. If they have a problem for one reason or another that they can't get there on time they call ahead and let you know. They are fairly reasonable. For all the work they do they are very reasonable.
Description of Work: They replaced a sump pump. They had to tear out a wall in order to get to the electrical box so they could disconnect and reconnect the electrical. They also installed a sensor, which lets us know if the sump pump goes out and the water is filling up. We didn't even ask for that. He then asked if we needed anything else and we had him fix the kitchen faucet. He went to home depot and got two faucets. We chose which one we liked and then he installed it.

Description of Work: AP plumbing installed 3 new toilets in my house in April. Recently one stopped flushing properly. Yesterday morning I finally called them to have them look at it. They showed up in the afternoon, found the problem and fixed it. And to my surprise, didn't charge us because the repair person didn't think it was right for it not to work after the recently purchasing them. It ended up being a minor problem, but what do I know about plumbing. He then looked at the balance of the plumbing in our house to check out if there were any potential problems. Thankfully he didn't find any. He scored big points for his company, and with my wife.

+ 1 moreThere was some urgency to my request when I first called AP Plumbing since I had been stiffed by my first plumber and was going on my 3rd day with no working sewer line. The ladies in the office handled my call very professionally, and by 9:00 AM the next day my sewer was open. The technicain even did a couple of minor repairs while he was there. Just the kind of service one would hope for with a beasement full of sewage. Nice job AP.

+ -1 moreFast, punctual, polite, and high quality. Who knew that having a brand new toilet could be so nice? My only complaint was that the price was a bit high, but putting in a cheap toilet would have ended up being a mistake.
Description of Work: I called them because my toilet was running and I couldn't get it to stop. The plumber arrived on time and made the very good point that the toilet was the original one from the house and was more than 30 years old. His recommendation was to replace it. They delivered a new toilet to my house and it was installed within an hour.

+ -1 moreGentlemen came to our house and evaluated the situation. He explained exactly what he needed to do which was to snake the drain. He snaked the drained and fixed the problem. Did a good job. He originally quoted us almost $300.00 then we told him about Angie's List and he called the office. They told him to take off $25.00.

I went with AP because their pricing was a little better, but I was concerned because I had never heard of them, although they had a big ad in the yellow pages. Well I am glad I did, I ended up saving a couple of bucks and they came out fast, and were very professional.

After I agreed to the price they later came back and told me the drain was within code and did not need to be lowered. They offered me no reduction in their original quote to only install the two shut off valves. I told them this was not what I agreed to have them accomplish for $259 and expected them to lower the PVC drain as initially quoted. They reluctantly did lower the PVC drain about an inch.
Description of Work: Installed two water shut off values and lowered sink PVC drain pipe to ensure better drainage to sewer.
