Description of Work: Contacted AP Plumbing to request a quote for repair to a leaky outdoor faucet, a leaky bathroom faucet and for replacement of a 15+ yr old 40 gallon hot water. Technician who provided quote was very professional and made several recommendations as part of the quote. I selected AP Plumbing to do the work which was scheduled within 3 days. The same technician plus an add'l helper showed up at the time promised and completed all work within about 3 hours, including removal of the old hot water heater and installation of new water and gas piping to conform to updated codes. The technician also took time to explain the new features of the hot water heater and the freeze-free exterior hose bib.

Description of Work: We had water in our basement and didnt know the source. It turned out our main drain was clogged and backing up. Ben was great and went through 85 feet twice with 2 different blades and pulled out a lot of small roots. He then showed me the camera view through the pipes and assured me the pipes were in great shape for a house built in the 20s and that nothing had to be replaced.

Description of Work: Toilet was plugged about 15' in the line. Cleared plug and replaced toilet. They are always very responsive and explain what needs to be done & what the cost will be.

Description of Work: The water heater was leaking from the bottom of the tank. I was given information on the pricing of a new water heater to install. Further examination by the technician identified I had a year remaining from the warranty on the tank. I chose not to have them install it but rather follow up on the warranty. It was a great savings!!!! I call the AP Plumber my Santa because it was just before Christmas and $1000+ expense would have been unbearable. I was so grateful for his attention and understanding. I gladly paid for the service charge!

Description of Work: I hired them to repair a tankless hot water heater. They did not repair it and charged what I believed was an excessive fee. They later did agree to lower the fee but it was still high and as I said they did not fix the problem.

Description of Work: Asked for a simple price range to open a slow exposed drain. Said I needed to make an appointment ($49.00) to get an estimate. They're radio add says know the price before the work. Doesn't say you have to pay $49.00 to get the price first then decide. If you use them, the $49.00 is included. Obviously anything they even look at will cost you $49.00 Unaceptable policy. They should be able to provide a basic list if prices for each service but that only comes at the appointment for $49.00.
