Good communication. Always very friendly and respectful. Job took 15 minutes. In and out

Looked on Angie's List and called them as they stated 24 hour service. It was a Sunday. They called me right back and said they would be at our house in a few hours. About 5 hours later the head guy came, looked at it all and said he would get a crew out in an hour or so to get the worst areas. They were up there in the biting cold and wind for about 90 minutes. Got the worst section cleared. Came back Monday morning with a crew of about 4 guys. They were working on the roof all day. They were slobs! Left cigarette butts, coffee cups, wrappers, protective glasses, and a metal pole behind. They charged $2,700 which is probably double what it should have been , but it had to be done. Paul did not come get the check for about 10 days and he never deposited it until a month later! Last week we discovered they damaged siding on the back of the house. We had also asked him for an estimate on heater cables and fixing the ceiling where it leaked. He said he would do it that week. Well, two months later and we don't have it. 5/2/2015 - Paul from All state Roofing called a few days ago. He must have read my review and said he wanted to make me happy. He said he would give me estimate for ceiling repair and repair damage his company made to our siding. We made an appt. for 5/2/2015 at 11 am. Well, it is now after 3 pm and he never showed up!

Very professional and responsive. Consistently answered the phone and everyone I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. Took a few days to get out for an estimate, as is to be expected. Came out to do the job sooner than expected. Price was good and work seems to be of good quality. I'm very satisfied and would consider them for other gutter/roof work in the future.

Took a couple weeks for the contractors to show up after purchasing the angie's list deal, but once they did they put it up in very sort order.

They came over and gave me an estimate that was four times as much as I eventually got it done for. Definitely get another quote when dealing with these guys.

Based on the astronomical rate that is being charged to remove snow and ice, I would be very leery about using them for any service in the future. It's unfortunate because it looks like they do good work (based on prior reviews), but they have also shown that they like to take advantage of people.

Contractor sent a crew the same day I requested the service. Crew was professional and answered all my questions. Before leaving they shovel out 3 feet of snow left in my driveway from the snow removed from the roof.

Did not hire the contractor as his quoted price was incredulous.

They showed up within 45 minutes. They worked for 4 hrs. The snow on the roof was 4 ft deep in some spots and the ice went up the roof for at least 5 ft and was 16 inches deep in some spots.

They sent a gentleman over. They did a nice job. They did my roof two years ago and they did the gutters this past summer. He showed up. I called them. They called me. They sent him over one day and got it done. I used them before for roofing. I was very impressed by the roofing. I thought I would call them up for the gutters, too. The guys did a nice job. I think they had to call him back to come out and do it. He was a little bit behind on his work. When he came back, he showed up and did it in one day. Their price was very fair. So far, the gutters are great. Their responsiveness was very good.

It turned out very well. Everything was fine and they did a great job. They made my gutters like new again.

It went well. They were good with there communication, they let me know what was going on with the job.

They were awesome to work with, very professional did a great job I would absolutely use them again.

He did okay. The big deal was for $239, and I had him do more, so I paid him more. I thought he had the gutters repaired, but since he did not spell it out on the contract, I could not prove it. He did the side and the front, and a porch. They came out and did what they were supposed to do, he gave me a ball park, but he waited until the last day.

Went well, fast, efficient, left some materials behind which crew did not clean up but the job was done well

After posting my initial review (shown above) I was contacted by Tim within three days to inquire about my review. He was very apologetic, which I appreciated. I understand how things can fall "thru the cracks" at times, so I decided to give Allstate Roofing a 2nd try. Tim came out (that same day) to provide an estimate for the work I need to have done. I was pleased with the estimate and we are now in the process of ordering the parts needed. I anticipate having the work finished by the end of November 2014, and will provide my final review after the work has been completed.

We decided to take on a small reno (new floors, trim, paint, etc) in our living room which lead to a monstrous project that discovered a leak, lots of rotted wood, and ultimately a new roof, skylights, gutters, insulation, framing, and painting. Talked to several contractors and I thought that Allstate had the most professional and knowledgeable staff. I tend to ask a lot of questions, as I wanted to understand the scope of work and the process, and they were very collaborative, partnering with me all along the way if I had any concerns, and even some project scope changes. I thought the team was very professional and extremely courteous. I did not feel as if I was being taken advantage of and that the cost was reasonable for the amount of work. It was nice having to deal with just one company as well when I had to do re-framing, drywall work, painting, gutters, and even new blown-in insulation in the attic when they had the roof deck off. It was a great experience and I plan on using them again for other projects.

Allstate gave me the best price so I went with them. They were on time, cleaned up every day and were true gentlemen on the job. No foul language. They did the tear off and new roof in 4 days. They cleaned everything up after they completed the job. The job was well done and they did everthing they promised they would.

I am certain this company can do a professional job. The problem is the price is incredibly expensive compared to other A RATED company's. ALLSTATE gave me a price of $11,700. The average price from other A level company's came up with prices between $5,700-$7,500. ALLSTATE was the only company that priced over $7,500. I read all competitive company's contracts closely. ALLSTATE was doing nothing special or more involved then the other less expensive company's.

He showed up Saturday morning.Took down old gutters and down spouts and put up new ones.Cleaned up and took away old gutters.

Provider was very informative, punctual and on time with services. everything they said they would do was done to specifications. Paul was friendly and followed through on everything he said he would

As far as I can tell, the gutters are okay. However, I didn’t like how they handled it or left it, and the people weren’t very friendly. I also had to pick up after the mess they left. I didn’t receive any personal service from them.

Paul Melnik was taken to challenge. Allstate Roofing offered; Paint the house. Fine, just need gutters, we can do that. Oh, Siding? is that what is needed? Paul provided me with very competitive estimates. I wouldn't hesitate to have any future estimates for workmanship done by Allstate Roofing. Thank you Paul.

Jason and his "Allstate Roofing and More" team far superseded all other quotes and roofers for three main reasons, making the process and product A+. Without demonizing other roofers in my area, it became clear from the start that Allstate values clients, surpasses roofing excellence in all areas of the work, and estimates cost with 100% precision. That happened, and the fair cost (which was not as high as some quotes we obtained from other firms or as low as others) came in on the exact figure Jason stated ahead. Allstate's dream roofer team arrived at 7AM, explained any process we asked about, and maintained an amazing professionalism you see in only the most proficient craftspeople who take pride in the details. This team cleaned as they worked and when the complete tear down was complete you could see no trace they'd been there. Without reserve, I will be calling Allstate again for future projects at my home after this amazing experience! They are completing the roof across the street as I submit this review, and many neighbors are raving about their work that gives a refreshing facelift to our entire homes. At every step of the work, Allstate reaches beyond average to offer superiority, and we'd like to see them expand beyond our area to take the lead in national roofing firms that focus on quality!
