Description of Work: Allstate was very professional, timely, and their manager was super. Excellent, neat, professional work.

Description of Work: It was an especially rough winter. I had 3ft ice dams on most of my roof. I was hearing of other home owners with leaking and collapsing roofs. I got the contact information for ALLSTATE ROOFING AND MORE LLC from Angie's List. A lot of people needed their help, but one of their men came out to the house within a half an hour to inspect my roof. Within an hour 3 young men arrived with buckets, shovels, ice choppers and ladders. They were very polite and were eager to get to work. They used a special "ice melt" chemical that was in the buckets they brought. During the process I went out to watch for a bit. It was fascinating actually. One of the fellows explained what they were doing and how it worked. Those men worked very hard, without a break, in the freezing cold for, I can't remember exactly, but, I think it was 4+ hours. It became dark as the sun had set and they were still working. I asked if they would like to come in and get warm. They politely told me they were going to keep working. They worked well together. They talked with each other as they worked. Never yelling or using foul language. I was grateful for the ice to be off my roof. I was impressed with the company's sincere desire to help me. I was amazed and impressed with the men who did the job up on my roof. They worked very hard without ever taking a break. When they were finished they put all of their equipment away and let me know they were done. I would certainly hire them again for any job. I recommend them completely. You will be so glad you hired these people. From my experience I rate the Company A+.

Description of Work: I used this company as purchased thru a groupon and all was great. Gutters were installed as requested. Now a second request for gutters and I made contact ,but never a return call.

Description of Work: It was difficult to get a hold of them. They didn't communicate with me as to instructions about time to discuss project. The job was done without me knowing they had been at my house on the day it was completed. The work is good and the price was a deal through Angie's List, so that part was great!

Description of Work: Removed snow from roof. Shoveled upwards and destroyed the roof! Learned a lesson, if many companies contacted say that it will be a week before they can do a job and one says in two hours be weary! They hired anyone to do the work, not professional.

Description of Work: They did a full tear-off and re-roof, including new flashing, ridge vents, ice dam barrier, etc. I got a 50year warranty, transferable within the first 20years to someone buying my home. The workers were quick and efficient, even in somewhat adverse weather conditions (high winds did cause a ladder to fall over and break a window, which was taken care of by Allstate)

Description of Work: They came promptly to my house, and because I was already experiencing some ice daming I felt as though I was at their mercy to clean off my roof of snow and ice. They quoted me a price of $1700 which was totally outrageous!!! But like I said I was at their mercy since everyone was needing people to clear their roofs. They came the following day and were literally up on the room for less than 2 hours. However, even though they had put the calcium carbonate on the gutters which were 4-8 inches of ice, it seemed as though there was little clearing of the ice. I called and complained and they did come back to clear a little more snow and put more calcium on the ice. He was hinting at charging me more and I refused. My biggest complaint was that the price was way over the top....no other company was charging that kind of money for the same project! I think I was taken advantage of and was robbed of an exorbitant amt of money. My fault for paying it!!! By the way, they had quoted a friend of mine $1500 for removing snow from the roof of a very small porch area.....lucky for her she talked with me and didn't have them do it!! Guess they were taking advantage of everyone they could because of the snow in our area!!! If I can find a way to report them I will do it....so this doesn't happen to anyone else!

Description of Work: Shingle roof replacement. I called on a Monday and had my roof completely finished by Thursday afternoon, of the same week. The crew was polite, curtious and diligent. I was overall impressed. The finished product looks great!

Description of Work: Cleared roof of snow and ice dam. Hard to judge cost as I did not persue other bids due to urgency. On the job within 3 hours of initial contact. Good job of clearing except left some ice at the two critical locations on roof. I discovered next day and removed it myself. Overall pleased.

Description of Work: I called and spoke with a technician who advised they would be at the house within hours to remove the snow and ice from our roof. He never showed. The following day they did call and apologized but a little too late - we found another roofer / contractor to handle the problem.

Description of Work: Came out to do an assessment/estimate for water spots that appeared in my ceiling. The end result was that no work was contracted with them -- I was told by the individual that came out (Jason) that if it was his house he would just wait and see if it happened again before spending any time trying to determine what the problem might have been because it would be a costly effort and might not really answer the question. He suspected it was a really fluke kind of situation. I really appreciated the candor and honesty in dealing with this problem. We talked about some of their other services and I definitely intend to call them back in the spring and have them do some siding repair for me.
