Description of Work: We had a cold roof system applied. What a great suggestion from AllState Roofing. Our heating bill has already dropped. Also, no more bats. + 0 moreI had 4 companies look at the job and decided on Allstate based on Jason's explanation of a solution he felt would repair the areas and stop it from recurring. I felt the other companies were not really interested in the repair and submitted a quote that reflected it. They showed up on the afternoon promised and completed the job in 1 day as stated. The job looks good and I may have them come back to replace some windows.
Description of Work: We moved into the house in June knowing there was a section of soffit and facia that was in need of repair. Upon closer inspection an area of roofing was soft as well. They re-built the damaged areas, matched the shingles and built a diverter to correct the run off problem the poor roof line design created. I may have them come back in the spring to do a more involved re-build of that area depending on how the diverter performs through the winter.

He gave me instructions on how to fix it myself. He went on to further give me pointers for other projects around my house. In total, he spent a solid hour at my house without charging me a dime. A truly honest contractor.

+ -1 moreThey came out promptly and I felt the quote was fine. The part that we didn't like was the paperwork was a little vague. It wasn't specific enough. A lot of it was verbal and because we were getting several quotes, we were not sure who said what. They did put stuff in writing but it was more of a check off sheet We did receive a quote from another place who was much more specific about everything. I would rate them overall an A.

I got an estimate from Sears (way too high) and arranged for an estimate from someone closer to Brockport and they never called or showed. The roofs are great and at this point I don't see a need to call anyone else.

I was pleased with the estimate but just due to the cost we chose someone else. He sent a thank you card the next day for letting him come out.

The salesman was very thorough & professional. So from start to finish, this is a first class company whom I would recommend to anyone.
