Description of Work: installed rubber roof on three-season room | |I did not get other quotes. Of the 4 or 5 contractors that I called, they were the only ones who returned my call.

Description of Work: I contracted them for the 50' worth of gutter of which there was some additional footage. Since it was a small project I told them that i only wanted it installed before the bad weather. One day I came home, looked up and there it was. A well pitched 6" gutter and downspout system. This install has prompted me to order the rest of the house.

Description of Work: They did a great job. They also do a lot of other services like paving so they are a nice resource to talk to about other problem areas of your home.

Description of Work: I responded to an on-line offer for gutters. When Allstate came to quote the job (promptly) I asked about paving a 400' driveway and pouring a 10'x16' concrete patio. They provided a quote for those services as well. After the quote was presented and I arranged financing we met to sign the contract (late April). I provided a 50% down-payment (they didn't require that much) and they indicated the gutters would be done immediately with the patio and driveway two to three weeks later. The gutter work was done immediately, but unfortunately it took many emails and phone calls before they came back to perform the other services and that didn't happen until late June. There were some delays due to weather, but most of it was due to them not scheduling the crews. While I am very happy with the final product, the problems getting the work completed were unacceptable especially given the price. I have reviewed each service separately below. | |Gutter |The gutters were done very shortly after signing the contract. The work crew arrived, confirmed they were at the correct address, and I never spoke to them again. The work was completed very quickly and looks great. There were a number of nails and pieces of metal left on the ground. In addition, by chance I was on the roof shortly after that and noticed there were no screens on the gutters even though it was included in the contract and the price. When I mentioned it to Allstate, they did come back later and add the screens. | |Patio |The patio work was subcontracted and was excellent. Once the job was finally scheduled, the crew (one man) arrived and did all the work himself. He was extremely pleasant, did excellent work, and left the job site in an immaculate condition. He completed the work in two days and I would not hesitate to use that company again. | |Driveway |The driveway work was subcontracted and I am very pleased with the results. When the work was finaly scheduled, the crew (6 people) arrived promptly and completed the work in one day. The crew was friendly and the quality of their work was excellent, but they were incautious around some plantings we had (despite a warning about them from my wife) and left some litter when they were finished. I would consider using that company again.

Description of Work: Installed new gutter and drain in front, and replaced gutters in addition, and cleaned the back gutter. |The workers just showed up and started walking around on deck and started working, without knocking on door. Scared my wife. We didn't even know they were coming, after having accepted offer for work a month or so previous, hadn't heard anything until workers showed up one day. Did not talk to us when done or go over what they did for us to look over, they just left when done, not giving u a chance to point out any problems or questions. The back gutter drain was still plugged up, so I had to call and have someone come back out for that. Apparently it was a miscommunication that the drain is not part of gutter cleaning? so a month later someone came out and cleaned the drain part. |They strapped the new gutters on top of the roof shingles. I didn't know they were going to do that, it looks ugly. Also, they tore off old drain in front, but left pieces of it still nailed to the wall, and used different location for new drain. Also left a diagonal brown streak 10 feet long and 2 inches wide along side of house way up hard to reach to clean up. Would have preferred better back and forth communication so we coud have pointed these things out to the workers.

Description of Work: Installed standing seam metal roof. Quality and care is excellent. Timeliness is not quite as good. The project was supposed to take 2-3 weeks. They did not estimate the complexity of the project and it's been 8 weeks. We weren't in a hurry and we wanted a careful installation, so the timeline didn't really bother us. Courteous and attention to detail were very good.

Description of Work: The job was 81 ft of gutter and two downspouts. The installation was quick but well done. Retail would have been $848 less the Angie's list $229 I only had an out of pocket of $217. |I used Allstate Roofing last year via Angie's List for a complete re-roof. |I would recommend them to eveybody.
