ACORN LANDSCAPING

Acorn is great. They did an excellent job at fixing up the pond and helped me come up with a plan to make it low maintenance. It has been super easy to take care of with their help. I haven't had a pond before so I don't have a good price benchmark, but the prices seemed a little high. That being said, the service was great and I have continued to use them for the last year and trust them 100%. Thomas takes his time with customers - he will spend whatever time you need to understand how to operate your pond and give you free advice on things like how to find the right fish.

Tom did an excellent job landscaping my backyard a few years ago. He designed a great landscape with patio, water feature and blooming plants. It is now fully mature and looks great. He tends to it annually - fountain clean out, mulching, trimming - and keeps it looking fabulous. I appreciate his attention to detail and professionalism. He created a peaceful place in my backyard for my nieces and nephews to enjoy. It is truly my Garden of Eden.

The owner asked for a design deposit which was more than others. I liked his design so I went with it. He said he couldn't do the work until September, but then called me early August and asked if they could start the next day. I was a little taken back but gave the go ahead. They dug up the yard and then left for four days to do "maintenance" work. I was a little disappointed in that. However once they got going they finished up quickly and I was happy with the results.

The owner came by and spent the entire time trying to sell me stuff I didn't want. He wasn't listening to what I was saying. When I told him what other company estimates where, he then tried to match what he'd be WILLING to do for that amount. He talked so much that when it came time to discuss the front yard, he quickly said he had to go and would come back to discuss the rest. He never did. This was a terrible experience and his estimates are very high.

Acorn did a fair job with most of my yard which has a ton of leaves. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of raking and blowing out of my garden beds - it was a bit sloppy. I was also disappointed that he did not bag the leaves. They were blown to the curb.

The job they did was beautiful! I had them put in a fish pond and a stream with a waterfall. I am very happy with the way everything turned out. Their work speaks for itself. The price was a little bit higher that I might have expected but the end result makes up for that.

I HAVE ONE GUY THAT COMES OUT AND SPENDS ABOUT FOUR HOURS JUST WORKING ON MY YARD. HE DOES SUCH A FANTASTIC JOB THAT HE ONLY NEEDS TO COME ABOUT ONCE A MONTH.
