585 Property Maintenance

Hired 585 because they are a small neighborhood business, but we ended up spending more to fix the mistake they made. We had 585 come out to weed and clear our yard for summer. The owner unintentionally severed our air conditionings line. We were understanding that mistakes happen and I invited the owner back when we got estimates to fix the work, but never not get a response. We ended up having to send a certified letter with three estimates to fix the work. The company IS NOT insured and did not have the money to pay for the damage. Once again, we tried to be good neighbors, so my husband worked out with him to do some work during the summer. He came once and rototilled the area where we grow vegetable but never came back for the two remaining projects. Fixing our line and adding freon was not an expense we as the customer should have had to cover. We were beyond understanding and covered the cost to fix the damage (which they should have done) the least the company could have done was do the work agreed on after costing a couple of hundred dollars.
