We were in a bind as the original mason we had fired, did not deliver as contracted. I call Mr. Andreassi on 10-3-13, he came by 9am the next morning to give us a proposal for the work. On Monday 10-7-13, I called him to contract his services. They arrived the next morning bright and early to start the job. They were all very professional in every aspect of the job. They came when promised and performed as proposed. We are very happy with the work done.

I hired Joe Andreassi to replace the front entrance. This is the second time I've hired him. He proved that I made a good decision. He did excellent job. Very very professional. I will definitely rehire him in the future.

The first two feet of my garage floor was all pitted and falling apart. I called Joe and left a message for him to call me back to get an estimate to fix this. He called me back immediately and set up a time to come out the next day. He arrived on time as promised. We discuss the options but the best solution was to replace the entire section. He arrived on time to start the project and did a great job. He told me that there was going to be a lot of dust and there was!!! He did a great job cleaning up after he was all done. I am extremely pleased with the way it came out. I would recommend him for any masonry work that you have.

Joe returned my calls promptly. His estimates were fair and reasonable. He made suggestions on the best way to address the situation. Di not over sell. He wrote the proposal and completed the job in less than a week. He was neat and polite. I would recommend Joe Andreassi Masonry if you are looking for a fair price and good workmanship.

He was on time and fixed the steps and gave me another option for fixing my porch steps which worked out much better for the same price.

My home was in dire need of new front steps to the front door as well as a backyard patio and another set of steps leading to a deck. Joe Andreassi gave me a very reasonable and professional quote for concrete replacements. He was the only contractor that provided a written estimate. He finished the job in a very timely manner and his work was spectacular. Everything came out perfect. My neighbors have all commented on how great a job he did. He will be the first person I will call if I ever need masonry work done and I highly recommend him.

He did realize that there was a little less work than he originally planned on because it turned out that the existing step was a separate piece that must have been done after the apron and did not need to be removed so he took $25 off of the bill. He also warned me there would be a lot of dust and to cover what I could in the garage so I found a tarp in there and did just that- good thing I did :) because the dust did get everywhere. Everything went pretty well despite the cold and rain and wind but he seemed a little challenged towards the end as the concrete did not seem to be cooperating in terms of setting up properly or finishing and a portion of the surface was a bit rough. When they were ready to leave he realized that he had forgot to hose off the garage door before they poured the concrete; we have a dark green garage door and it was almost completely covered with concrete dust and looked almost as if they had painted it grayish white. After they left I also noticed they must have wiped their big push brooms off on our grass because there are 3 long gray streaks on our front lawn. My husband was very happy with the finished product we were just a little disappointed in the cleanup. Everyone who has come by has said that it looks real nice.

Joe was very prompt in coming for an estimate and I hired him on the spot because of his reviews. I was not disappointed. He did the work the next day. They were a tad late on the day of the repair as they got caught in morning traffic but arrived shortly after the stated time. I hope to have more work done in the spring and will definitely call him again.

Joe did an excellent job filling in the holes and smoothing out the steps. I would highly recommend him for his pricing and workmanship.

My concrete/brick porch was badly in disrepair. I spent a lot of time contacting and meeting with about 13 contractors over a years time. Most of these people said they could do the work and then I never heard from them again. And there were a couple who contacted me so long after our initial discussion about my porch that I was no longer interested in following up with them. The advice I got from all of these contractors was shockingly varied...and none of them inspired any confidence in me. Then I found Joe Andreassi on Angie's List and my search for someone who knew what they were talking about was over. Joe Andreassi is talented at the technical aspects of his work and does a beautiful job. The pictures speak for themselves. But also, and maybe even more importantly, Joe was extremely timely in response whenever I called or texted him. He showed up on time for our two appointments. He started the job when he said he would and he ended on time. He cleaned up after himself and left me with a beautiful, brand new porch. There is one last, small task I have asked Joe to attend to pertaining to some asphalt fill-in that needs to be leveled out a bit more to my satisfaction. I have no doubt that when he is back in the area he will do that. Overall, my experience with Joe was A++!! I would recommend him to anyone who not only wants a technically proficient mason, but also someone who is just a nice person who respects his customers, is professional and does what he says he will do. I never thought I could get so excited about a porch. :-) Thank you, Joe!!!

We are thoroughly pleased with the results on both the front walk and rear patio. I also liked the fact that I was dealing with the same individual(s) from beginning to end. Too often the person giving the estimate is not the person doing the work. This can lead to poor communication regarding expectations. Dealing with one person means there is a sense of responsibility from beginning to end, as opposed to "my part of the job is done". Joe (and his crew/family) showed up on time for every interaction from estimate to completion. They were even able to start the job a day earlier than originally proposed. They were friendly, professional and no-nonsense when it came to getting the job done. Everyone involved worked well together and seemed to enjoy their work and working together. With the front walk / step they went above and beyond our expectations - raising the walk to the same level as the driveway / lawn. As such, they were able to replace the two steps to the front porch with a single step - a significant aesthetic improvement. Additionally, they removed and replaced the patch of driveway next to the newly installed walk to provide a smooth transition - something we hadn't even discussed in the estimate. The back patio (25' x 14') was installed on a slight grade. After staking out the footprint, Joe double-checked with me to make sure I knew that the surface of the patio would be ~12" above ground level on one corner. I appreciated the fact that he wanted there to be no surprises with the finished product. After setting up the forms, they placed the sod removed during leveling around the forms at that corner to ease the transition from the patio to ground level - very professional from a safety and aesthetic perspective. They also did a great job of tying the patio into the foundation (removing some unneeded cinder block where necessary) and existing door opening of our walkout basement. The result is a nice smooth, integrated transition from basement -> door -> patio. The back patio looks great and I received compliments from neighbors the very day it was poured! They hauled away all of the old concrete, etc and left the job site clean at the end of every workday. Joe followed up to ensure we were satisfied with the work and to remind us of how to protect the new concrete. Start to finish, a wonderful experience!

I called him and got an estimate the same day. My sidewalk was completed within three days. Joe and his crew were very polite and considerate in a timely and professional. A plus work!

The steps to my side door were brick and cement with a railing. The cement between the bricks were coming apart and the railing was rusted and broken. I called 2 contractors for free estimates. Both estimates were close price wise. I actually wanted to just get the railing fixed and patch up the cement /bricks. Both contractors indicated how bad the steps were. I went with Andreassi due to the many good reviews on Angie's list. Even though I had a very busy schedule, Joe kept in constant communication with me which I appreciated. Although Joe told me what he was going to do, I could not exactly visualize the final outcome. I was very pleased when I came home and saw the steps/railing. The steps look beautiful and I am glad I had the full tear-down and re-build done.

He replaced my sidewalk to make the water flow away from the house. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and for the price he quoted. His crew also had to work around my tomato garden without damaging the plants. Everything went well, I would use him again.

He was able to start the job within a few days and completed it in a very timely manner. He even came back to adjust my fence that needed to be moved during the process. Joe responded to the initial contact quickly. He made a quote appointment for the next business day. He inspected the area and wrote up a quote for the job. We feel the quote was an excellent price for the work, although we did not have any other quotes by which to compare. The work was performed the very next day. We are pleased with the outcome as it came out better than expected. He used the salvaged stone to create a small decorative ledge (for plants etc.) and bridged the existing slab porch with the stone to make decorative transition where the planter box had stood. It was clear that Joe was very experienced in the field and is an "artist" with stone and was great to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.

Mr. Andreassi was very prompt in giving an estimate. He is definitely a very qualified mason with ideas for the project and was more than willing to listen to what my wife and I wanted to accomplish. Joe was on the job from start to finish. My wife and I would not hesitate to give Andreassi Masonry high recommendations to anyone needing masonry work.

Joe did a very professional job. First, I thought that this job was too small for a contractor. When I talked to Joe over the phone, he said that he will look at the job and tell me. The estimate was very fair price for the work envolved. Joe, came when he said he would, did a very professional job and I would highly recommend him to any one that would need his service. I am considering more work in the future and will enlist his service for this work.

Joe showed up exactly on time to do the estimate. He knew exactly what needed to be done and we talked briefly about options before I had decided on what I wanted. The estimate was similar to others that I had gotten, but I felt Joe knew his business very well. He met me at the brickyard on a Saturday so I could select the brick, and that was a great thing for me as there are many options. He kept in touch until the job could start, and he finished it on time. The results look great. I could not be happier.

From the estimate to the cleanup, everything went great! Very professional, yet very easy to deal with, Joe showed up on time for the estimate and on time for the job. The doorway wall had been damaged at some point in the past and was uneven. Joe and his team did an awesome job lining up the new wall and window with the existing structure. It looks exactly as I was expecting and wanting it to look. The two other wall repairs were also done very well. And the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work needed. I will certainly call on them again and highly recommend Joe to anyone needing a first class mason.

My brick front steps were crumbling. I was getting ready to sell the house and didn't want a huge expensive repair, so he suggested the minimum necessary to fix them. His estimate was much lower than the other contractor (and two others never called me back). He was honest, on time, and completed the repair just as described. I do wish we had done just a bit more as a couple of additional bricks are now loose (in a part he didn't repair). I wish he had noticed they were going, but maybe they were still firm when he did the work. In any case, the job as contracted was well done, and I would hire him again.
