On time and did a good job and had the right equipment. Cleaned as far as possible to loosen all dirt and grease up, in the sewer lines.

Mike H came on Sunday afternoon. Quickly assessed the situation, determined where the clog would be, accessed it through a vent pipe, snaked it out, and cleaned up the mess. Took time to explain what he was doing, what the problem was, and the likely cause (years of built-up kitchen grease), and how to prevent it from recurring (use of liquid enzyme cleaners a few times per year).

Frankie arrived on time, did a thorough job and explained the steps he was taking to clear the clog. Very professional. Would definitely use AJAX Sewer Cleaning services again.

Very well. I called at 7:15 p.m since I saw the company was still open. The boss answered the phone and said he could send a man over within an hour. By 7:37 the tech was at the house and by 8 the drain was clear and the water had all gone down. There was a $50 surcharge because it was a night visit but I couldn't afford to wait. The tech was courteous and professional--an unbeatable combination. And it was an amazing experience in this day and age of recorded announcements to make a call and get a PERSON at the other end.

After a deluge of rain that led to backup of drain in basement, Mike from Ajax came back in February to re-snake main sewer line, this time 100 ft out. Work was performed quickly, professionally and neatly. NO additional charge as 90 warranty on prior service was honored. Very favorable experience.

I find them to be excellent. They're courteous, very neat and he went out of his way to make sure that he didn't rode the sheen on my new wood floor. I found him very pleasant. They were very proficient in their mannerism. They were clean and not abrupt. If they couldn't do the job they tell you they couldn't do the job. It wasn't that, I started the job and now you got to pay me. He checks everything out first and he tells you if there's a bigger problem to see what else to be done. They're very well informed and they know what to do. They bring their own stuff, they clean up and make sure nothing splatters everywhere. I would recommend them to anyone. Some places I heard that they called other companies and got hit with $300-$400 bill. The quality of work was good. If you have a problem within 30 days they come back free of charge. They were right on time, you didn't have to wait. I will absolutely use them again.

These guys are fantastic. Efficient, honest, fast. I called them late one evening just before the closed, they came to do the work within the hour. When there was a problem the next day they returned and remedied the situation at no additional cost. A rare find these days.

I called Ajax Sewer and they said someone would be there later in the day. About 1 hour later, I got a call advising they were on their way. They snaked the pipe under my basement sink and solved the problem. He cleaned up after himself and did a cracker jack job. Quick and efficient. Very nice guy did the work and I was very pleased with the results.

I should have cleaned the sewer annually, but did not. Yesterday, I heard gurgling noises near the pump. After looking, I saw that water was not draining and the carpet, around the area ,was wet. After checking out providers on Angie's List, I picked Ajax , a local business. The reviews were more than positive, so I called. The woman to whom I spoke , told me that she would send out the truck and soon enough, Michael arrived. First, he went to the basement to assess the situation. I have two wooden doors which had to be removed, from the pump area; not only, were the doors removed, he was careful not to scratch them ( they did get scratched in the past). He covered the work area and the steps, and brought down the equipment. My entrance area is small and the steps are steep, and it is tricky to angle any equipment, down the stairs but he did. The pipe did not clear immediately but his persistence paid off. Michael made sure that all was working before he started to clean the area. He was courteous, knew what he was doing, tenacious and had a wonderful attitude. A pleasure!

The same agent came that had been 3 months before and checked a wet spot in my basement to make sure it was not from a drain they had previously cleaned. . There was no charge. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing or drain problem in the future.

Ajax did great work as always. Mike was very prompt and efficient with the work, and was very careful with our furniture and other items. He was able to work in the very small space that was available due to our remodeling the basement, and got the job done very quickly. He told me about the sewer drain, and why it clogs (the line bends so sewage tends to pile up in that bend. He recommended that we have the drained cleaned every six months as maintenance, which I will definitely be doing. They are a great company, and Mike knows what he's doing and is very respectful of the home he is in.

This company was referred by another company on this list. The other company was candid and directed me to this company based on my account of the situation. Ajax sent someone out within 3 hours. Since this is a newly renovated house and I just moved in, the plumber was quick to assess that the clog was probably due to contraction debris. Initially, we could not find the main trap because it was tiled under the basement floor without any sign of its location. He did a very neat job of breaking through a few tiles to find the pipes in question and did not damage surrounding tiles. In total, two plumbers showed up and spent about two and a half hours unclogging some pretty usual debris, apparently left by my general contractor. Both men were also good enough to advise me about taking pictures of the debris and explained where the pipes were running to/from. The final bill was very detailed about the job and the cause of the problem. They were also very careful to clean the entire area when they were done. It was worth it to have it done right. From a very relieved and grateful homeowner.

I USED THEM AND FELT THEIR PRICES WERE PRETTY GOOD AND THE WORK WAS JUST FINE. I HAVE HAD A NEIGHBOR THAT HAD USED THEM IN THE PAST AND SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THEM, SO I NEEDED A PLUMBER AND I CALLED THEM.
