We got estimates from 2 different businesses and both seemed way out of line for such a small, quick repair. The dresser had been moved and the leg split where the screw went in.

The ad implied furniture repair. When I called I was told politely that he didn’t do that kind of work. Not a problem but misleading

Mike took apart the arm and reattached it. The finished product looks as good as it was before the damage was done and seems sturdy. I was shocked by how quick his turn around was (must have caught him in between stuff). He was reasonably priced.

I have given Michael some varied projects that include complicated veneer repair and patching, carved wood replacements and metal inlay as well as restoring an existing finish or total refinishing. In each case Michael's work was precise and clean with the new work seamlessly blending with the existing material. Highly recommended.

Michael Gregorio is a true woodworking craftsman, with a painstaking attention to detail, like our marquetry dining room table that is back to its original, and a master at design as well as woodworking craft, as in the rocking chair he made which is now the favorite seat in our Victorian farmhouse. He is so versatile, and has learned so much over the years that he can take on any woodworking project with ease. Our experience could not have been better. Five stars isn't enough for Michael, who, besides being masterful, is a pleasure to work with. There are no don'ts when it comes to Michael. Just dos. Do go to him, he is the best.

Michael complete 2 kitchens within the space of 3 years. Two very different kitchens but they had one thing I common. He did an absolutely 1st rate job on both. Also, a fun part of the process was visiting Michael's shop and discussing materials and finishes. We made a few visits to his shop to evaluate progress. Designing and fabricating a kitchen is a very complicated process. He was very collaborative with our kitchen designer and everything worked perfectly. Two kitchens - no problems (he also built a small built-in desk, shelves and a custom bed frame with headboard and footboard -- all perfect, a delight.).

Many years ago, I was renovating my home and needed the help of an expert craftsman. Thanks to a friend, I had the good fortune of being introduced to Michael Gregorio. Although his highly-praised reputation preceded that fortuitous meeting, I never quite anticipated what a talented artist and master restorer, designer and furniture-maker he would turn out to be. For the last ten years, Michael has worked on numerous projects for me, from designing and building bookcases to restoring and re-creating antique beds -- from traditional pieces to imaginative art objects that are one-of-a-kind. Every result knocks me over with his perfectionism and creative brilliance. The cherry on top is his uncompromising integrity, honesty and sense of fairness -- rare. He is the finest of the finest.

Michael is a gifted artisan. Our dining chairs, from my wife's grandmother, had once featured immensely intricate woodworking on their backs--tiny pieces of mahogany crisscrossing and curving every which way, with an unusual finish. Over the decades, despite the obvious high quality of the craftsmanship in their original construction, these backs had slowly been destroyed by generations of children hanging on them, bashing them with bats, etc. We showed Michael a picture of one of the intact chairs, and handed him our three broken chairs, along with a bag of some of the little pieces of wood that had fallen off over the years. The wood we provided was clearly insufficient to bring the chairs back to their proper state. Michael managed to re-create these elaborate backs, seamlessly working in reproduction pieces of wood he somehow fashioned in his workshop. Michael matched the finish and design from the original so well that I cannot tell the difference between the reproduction and original portions of my chairs. Some years on, they?re still in perfect condition. He?s also done some similarly impressive work on badly damaged fine antique furniture for my father-in-law. His pricing isn?t cheap, but you?re paying for old world quality craftsmanship. If you have fine antique furniture in need of repair and appreciate finely done work, it?s worth it to have the work done properly.

Michael is a perfectionist! He restored two heirloom armores. He restored them to their original beauty. He is consistent in producing quality work. It is his passion!
