Eco Quality Landscaping

I would hire these people to do stone repair work, especially on walls, but not for landscaping. I don't think that they are particularly knowledgeable about transplanting trees or shrubs. but the wall repair was very good.

Went very well, he was able to envision the wall and make suggestions on changes to the design that made sense based on experience. Ran into issue with existing large stones in the way of the new wall design and his crew handled it without issue or added cost. Overall very satisfied!

Andrew arrived on time and spent a lot of time with us. He listened to our needs and provided a quotation in a timely manner. He had many good suggestions and seems very knowledgeable. We ultimately went with another vendor for our project but would go back to ECO to talk about another project in the future. Very professional.

Contacted Andrew after reading Angie's list review. Initial contract was late lest Fall.. He felt it was too late to begin and said he would contact me in the Spring of 2016. Heard from him in March. We agreed on a stone product and he and the crew were here early on March 17.. The job was completed that day.. During the day he consulted with wife and I several times and made recommendations which made the job better. This job exceeded our expectations. It looks great and was done at what I feel was a fair price. I have no hesitation recommending Andrew to anyone considering this type of job.

Andrew and his team showed up with the right amount of equipment in the morning and just a few hours later all of the Winter damage, downed branches, left over leaves and other debree were completely gone. The property looked like it was ready for another spring.

Andrew worked to get our job done before winter came and the wall potentially fell over. He was timely in his response to my original contact and proceeded to stay in touch as we set a work date and that date approached. Andrew and his crew arrived on time and explained each step they were taking. Andrew felt we would be able to re-use the material, thus saving the cost of new material. The crew was efficient, good-natured, and thoughtful. The project was completed just as promised and the work area cleaned up. I would certainly use them in the future.

It went so well! We are really happy with the results. The patio area looks wonderful and it's clear that these guys really know what they're about with pavers. The crew was here early every day, worked right along and cleaned up nicely when they were all done. Andrew was especially helpful with all the choices that need to be made during a project like this; the whole crew was concerned with getting everything the way we wanted it. What more can we say - the project was completed on time, on budget, and we got what we wanted. The crew was a nice bunch with a great attitude, worked hard and seemed to enjoy what they do. Company owner, Andrew Hazlett and his team completed all work in approximately the estimated 10 days despite many very hot and humid days, and several heavy downpours. Access to the rear patio area was severely limited to a narrow passage which was reduced to saturated mud due to the rains on heavily travelled clay soil. Near the end of the project, the Bobcat became unable to navigate the passage thereby requiring the use of wheelbarrows to deliver pavers to patio site over an alternate pathway. All work was performed in a professional manner and the results are excellent. The home owmer was on site throughout the project which expedited a few change orders that cropped up along the way.

We contacted Andrew and he was quick to respond. He came out to our house to give us an estimate for the scope of the work we were looking to get done. We met with Andrew a few times to go over the estimate and he work with us to get a final design that we liked. He broke down the overall project into 3 parts for us. At first we were only going to do the landscaping around the house, but decided to get all 3 jobs done at the same time. The major reason for that was that Andrew was the only contractor that we got estimates from that could do all 3 projects. Other contractors would only recommend someone else to do the front steps and walkway. With the job finalized, we had to wait a few weeks to get our job scheduled. Andrew kept in touch with us to let us know when he would be able to start the job. Once started, the job was done in 4 days! Andrew and his crew were very professional. Andrew, personally, did all the work on the resurfacing of the front steps with blue stone. The workmanship was outstanding on the steps and walkway. The new landscaping, front steps, and paver front walkway look great!

After a very frustrating time attempting to call companies and receiving little or no return call I was pleasantly surprised when Andrew promptly returned my call. He was able to give me an estimate based on pictures I sent him of an area approximately 15'x30' of a stoned area that used to have a very large pine tree in it that was cut down. I was looking to have the area cleared, leveled, top soiled, and seeded. After providing a very reasonable estimate he stated he would not be able to complete the job for approx 6 weeks or so due to their load of jobs. This was fine as I was not in a hurry to have it done. During the weeks of waiting, Andrew routinely kept me updated on an estimate of when he thought the job would be completed by text correspondence. Once the date was set, he arrived promptly as planned. He and his crew were very professional and performed quality work while they were at the house. He brought me outside on multiple occasions to keep me informed of what they were doing and potential issues that could arise. The yard is starting to look great as the grass is now growing in. He is currently working on an estimate for another area of the yard to complete for next season so clearly I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We are very pleased that we chose EcoQuality Landscaping for our job! The finished product looks fantastic, and everything went smoothly, start to finish. Andrew's estimate for the work was very competitive, he was responsive to our requests, and let us know when the start date for the job was delayed due to wet weather. He and his workers came when they said they would, worked efficiently, and were courteous and pleasant. Andrew was very detail oriented and kept me well informed on the progress of the work, asking my opinion on each decision as the project progressed. They spent time and energy making sure the job was done right. Both the driveway and walkway look wonderful and turned out better than anticipated. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We highly recommend this company. Andrew was very responsive and very clear with the cost. We were a bit demanding as to when we wanted the project completed by and Andrew made sure it was completed by this date. We were impressed with the work and are very satisfied. We have used many contractors since we live in an older home and Andrew was by far one of the best we have worked with. We will definitely use this company for future projects. Thanks Andrew!

Andrew and crew showed up promptly. They installed a low grey Versa-Lok block wall, with red cap stones. It looks fantastic next to my patio with red pavers and a grey border! Andrew built a small rectangular area where I could plant flowers at the end of the wall. The workers were shown where I had existing plants, and took care during their work not to disturb the plants. I am very pleased with Eco Quality landscaping. This is the second time that I hired them. I plan to use them again in the future for a major rebuild of portions of a larger retaining wall.

Did not select this vendor due to high price and low quality work.

Overall I am very pleased with the project. Everything went smoothly and the new patio looks great. Andrew was very responsive throughout the process, calling or emailing to update us on the schedule and making sure that things were done the way we wanted. The quote was on par with others we had gotten. Andrew followed up with us after about a week or so to make sure that we were happy with the quote. We did end up changing adding a few things so the scope expanded a little with no issues. The project was delayed a few days due to weather, but Andrew kept us informed of the expected start. work progressed on schedule and afterwards the lawn was regraded and topsoil was put down. Since we waited until the start of November to have the work done, Andrew recommended not to reseed until spring and EQL will be back then to reseed.

After speaking with Andrew of Eco Quality Landscaping, I emailed him pictures of the damage to my wall . He was able to give me an estimate based on the pictures alone. I was happy to learn that the work could still be performed in December. Andrew actually performed to work on a Sunday, a day before the planned Monday start. He had with him all the materials needed to do the work. He did the labor himself. The work done and materials used, matched the estimate. I was very impressed with Andrew's work. The wall looks great! I am planning on having Andrew do additional work for me in the spring.

I should mention that I had another contractor lined up to do this work. I asked for a more detailed estimate than I was given and he bailed on the job. He was a brother of another contractor I've dealt with. I then went to Angie's list and found Andrew he called me back immediately and came when promised to give me an estimate. I was very impressed with his professionalism and hired him on the spot. Andrew and his crew did an excellent job. They showed up when promised worked hard, and picked up at the end of the day before leaving. The most telling thing I can say about them is that they were working on October 20th a day when it rained constantly with bursts of heavier rain. I told them to go home,, my wall wasn't worth pneumonia but they refused to quit and stayed the day. They finished on time and I'm extremely satisfied with the work they did.to the point of having them come back in the spring to do some other work.

The project went off extremely well. Right from the start, Andrew was very responsive to our requests. His cost estimate was consistent with other companies and the end result was in my opinion better than pictures that I saw from other companies. Andrew exactly estimated the date of the project start and completion. His pre-work to figure out the precise cost and materials was spot on. Andrew and his team were very clean, professional, punctual and communicative. Any time there were questions, he asked to make sure he was doing exactly what we wanted. He proposed ideas that we didn't even think about and made the project turn out even better. Andrew went above and beyond at the end when he surprised us with a gift and better landscaping plants than we anticipated. For my future landscaping needs, Eco Quality Landscaping will be the only company I call.

Beautifully, it held up perfectly for its first year, and in addition to working beautifully and looking beautiful, it has added to the ease of snow plowing, lawn retention in the spring, and correct water dispersal.

Great! Very friendly staff and provided insights on progress along the way. The project took about 14 days and Andrew and his team kept me very informed. He also provided suggestions and different approaches that led to the project turning out better than it was before. Great work!

In the past year we have hired Eco Quality Landscaping twice and we could not be happier with the service provided by Andrew and his team. Last September we hired Eco Quality Landscaping to build a stone staircase to our pool and to seed our lawn. Andrew and his team showed up on time worked extremely hard in 90 degree weather and completed both tasks on schedule. There was a little settling of the stairs following a torrential downpour and Andrew was out the next day and fixed it. The stairs are solid and there were no issues following the harsh winter. This year we hired Eco Quality Landscaping to build a retaining wall for landscaping in the front of our house and to plant bushes and plants. Again, all work was performed per our order and we are extremely pleased with their work. Andrew and his team work very hard and it was a pleasure to do business with them.

My patio was very large and this was a tough job. Andrew and his co-workers were hardworking and are very professional. They took their time and showed great care, even while hand laying each brick, to ensure that everything was done properly.

I called Eco Quality Landscaping because of reviews on Angie's List and I'm extremely satisfied with their work. Initially I hired them to install stairs to an existing retaining wall surrounding our pool. Andrew showed up promptly and provided a very reasonable quote. Work began on schedule. They worked long hours and explained the process through out. Because of their service and quality, I hired them to putting in drainage, some pavers, grade my yard and seed my lawn. All work was done promptly. If they were going to be delayed because of weather or delays on other projects, Andrew call immediately to inform me. Due to rain ans settling, the block stairs sunk slightly in the center. Andrew was out the next day to fix it. After about two weeks Andrew called to check on the lawn. I told him it was coming in but some spot were thin. He came out the next day to add more seed and fertilizer. I'm very satisfied with his work, commitment and his communication with me. I really appreciate a contractor who communicates with his customer.

The job was very professionally done. Andrew had the right equipment and enough helpers to complete the extensive job in just two days. He followed up to check on the progress of the seeding and to offer advice on caring for the new lawn. We weren't totally sure how we wanted to handle certain sections of the project and we were happy that Andrew had a great sense of landscape design and the attention to detail to carry it out. We couldn't be more pleased!
