I called for an estimate to have the leaves removed from my yard. They came the same day and gave me an estimate. They did the work the very next day. Andrew and one other worker cleaned my gutters and removed the leaves from around the house. They came on time and did an excellent job. We had a dusting of snow the night before they were scheduled to arrive. They came at the scheduled time and told me they would return in a couple of hours to clean the gutters because the roof was snowy. I appreciated the fact that they came when they said they would and that they were safety conscious. The returned and did an excellent job. The gutters are clean and the leaves are removed from the lawn and bushes. I will hire them again as needed.

Andrew was great in giving me an estimate, both for just repair to the stonewall or the removal, dirt digging and rebuilding of the stonewall. I went with the later. Work started a couple of days after what we had agreed upon, but was no problem. The first day they were suppose to be there at 9, came about 10:30 with crushed stone, rented mini backhoe. They began right away tearing down the old stonewall, digging out many stones that were obscured by the foot of dirt. They dug the trench, wider and longer. They were great about putting the dirt in my back down a slope where I wanted it (Andrew would have taken it away if I wanted). They worked until 5 with a lunch break. The next day they were suppose to come at 11, came about 12:30. They brought the additional slate. They put down crushed rock on the path to a 4 inch depth below the bottom of the doorsill as we had discussed. They began to rebuild the wall. This was Friday.Monday they were there at 9, worked until 5 with a lunch break. They continued building the wall, putting in the fabric a foot away from the wall and filling the space between the fabric and wall with crushed stone. They left saying they would be back the next morning to finish up, stating it would be about a half days work.Tuesday they finished laying the stones, added more crushed rock, raked the entire area where they had been driving over with machines. They were finished by 11:30.The stonewall looks amazing - the new slates blend in with the old wonderfully - it is straight, level and flared near the door as I wanted. The crushed stone looks great and should prevent the dirt from washing down and building up as it did in the past. The crushed stone pathway leads and slopes away from the house and door now.

The experience with Eco Quality was fantastic. Andrew, the company owner, showed up on time for the estimate. He took the time to explain the entire process from start to finish. He came prepared with catalogs of the different types of pavers I could select. Once we booked the work they were able to fit us in fairly quickly. Andrew made sure to keep in contact through every step, making sure he knew exactly how I wanted the work to be done. Andrew and his coworkers were friendly, professional, and PATIENT throughout the job. They ran into a few obstacles along the way which I'm sure was very frustrating for them. For instance, some tree roots needed to be trimmed back, and it turned into a more extensive task than originally thought. Also, there was a concrete slab in the play area that we wanted removed, and it was poured much deeper than originally thought. Despite these obstacles they pretty much stayed on schedule, even coming by on Saturday to get some work done. He also came down (all the way from Clifton Park) on a Sunday to cover the work area when very heavy rain was forecast. Despite the extra labor, Andrew did not charge more than the original estimate. The final work product turned out great. The walkways look fantastic, and the new seed in the yard is coming in nicely. The only small issue I have is that sand was used to fill in around the outside of the walkways instead of topsoil, which is making it a bit difficult to grow grass up to the edges of the pavers. It's not a huge project for us to correct though. I should also offer a comparison between Eco Quality and some other companies I had called for estimates; One company never even showed up. Another company advised ME of what type and color pavers they use, and in what style. For instance, they wanted to flare our front walk to six feet where it meets the driveway. Although I'm sure this looks nice, it's not really our style and would have added unecessary expense. A third company wasn't prepared to advise me on the paver process at all, and couldn't even offer up a ballpark other than to say it would be expensive. Then they wanted me to drive out to some garden center they use in Mechanicville to pick out pavers and then call back. EQL was the most prepared and professional of all the companies I spoke with, and was nearly $1000 cheaper than the other estimate I was able to get (despite Andrew's offering a disclaimer that their work may be more pricey since they take the extra time). I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The entire process went very smooth and the crew was very professional and courteous. They were straight forward with pricing and helped me with ideas of what they could provide for my lawn in terms of getting it cleaned up for the spring. I would defiantly hire Eco Quality Landscaping again and look forward to seeing their website for landscaping ideas they can implement at my home.

Andrew is very nice and they do good work. Responsiveness is sometimes frustrating as he or his office manager, Lauren don't always respond to email or voicemail so you don't know what is going on. Once they were out and did the work, they did a nice job and were overall very professional and did solid work. Price was somewhat high given the work done, but overall a good experience

Andrew and his team have done a stellar job doing our Spring cleanups for the past two years. We also had them mulch last year and do a couple of light landscaping projects. We did request a quote to landscape a large section of our front yard but we did not receive much in the way of plans, suggestions or design ideas. He had a small list of actual plantings that he suggested and an estimate but not much in the way of an actual plan for the area. It is a growing company, with a great staff and a wonderful outlook.

After trying to contact multiple contractors (none of which were ever good about returning our phone calls) we fortunately found these folks. They were enthusiastic about the job, timely and professional. The walkway has now made if through its first winter and still looks brand new. The only concern we had throughout the process was a discrepancy between the estimate and final cost due to a material they had forgotten to quote at the start of the project. They brought it to our attention as soon as they realized the error but it was still frustrating to pay more than we thought we were going to. Overall, however, we would definitely recommend this company to others.

EQL did an excellent job, we were very happy with results and they always made sure to check with us on decisions and asked many questions to ensure we were happy with the final product.
