They responded quickly with our problem with our furnace. They sent people who are professional and efficient. They repaired our furnace quickly and well.

I called in the morning when I noticed the metal pipe that connected the water heater to the vent had fallen apart. The water heater was venting directly into the basement. A technician arrived that afternoon and installed a new one.

On a cold Saturday in January the boiler stopped working. Because I have an indirect water heater, there was no heat and no hot water. Called Bourque Mechanical and left message in the emergency mailbox. The technician called me back and arrived a little over an hour after my call. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad ignition controller. He had a replacement on his truck and quickly replaced it. He stayed to ensure the boiler was working properly. He was very professional and clearly explained the issue as well as answering my questions about the other control and exhaust systems associated with the boiler.

We would highly recommend this firm for any HVAC project you have. Everyone was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They performed all the work on schedule (which included removing a very old, heavy furnace) and cleaned the work area when they finished. The installers (Nate and Pete) gave us instructions about operation when they finished and made sure our questions were answered and the estimator (Shane) kept us informed every step of the way relative to scheduling and provided the necessary backup for warranty. They have been in business for 30 plus years and we can see why.

I have a company who installed my furnace and has been doing a yearly maintenance check for their warranty. I would say when I had to call them in an heat emergency. They were evry responsive. i'd recommend them to other people.

Excellent. Technician Dan came on time, did a careful and thorough check, refreshed the freon, and made certain to check out a recent problem. During the very hot stretch, water collected on the floor around the furnace and inside on the filter, etc. Dan made sure all components were fully functional and explained the likely causes of the water. He is an extremely capable service provider. Wish there was a senior discount.

Fabulous!!!! This is such a great small business!! Dan disconnected the A/C and brought a shovel, soldering iron, and cleaned it. I wish I had a proper picture of the 20 year mess that awaited him. He connected a new hose, refilled the refrigerant and packed more dirt to fortify the A/C in case rain compromised it's level setting. I'm such a fan of this small business!! They are as reliable as my 20 year A/C - If they built houses, they could do my remodel. Award winning service and staff. Please treat them well!! Best wishes again!!

The company quickly set up the appointment and the serviceman appeared on time ready to work. He was helpful in answering my questions, doing the tuneup and clearing out leaves in the A/C unit. Just want I wanted. Didn't try to scare or upsell me on anything.

Became acquainted with Bourque last year by taking advantage of their Angie's Deal ($69.00 at the time). I'll admit, I was late in contacting a company in May I had used for years for the same type of service. I was told by them it would be mid-July before they could perform the service, and I didn't want to run the A/C without having it looked over, so I opted to try Bourque. So glad I did, for the technician did a thorough job, I believe. He also did a better job at repairing the damage done by critters chewing through some of the wiring that led from the house to the A/C unit (put a sleeve of heavy-duty vinyl tubing over the wiring). The prior company addressed the issue of the chewed wiring by merely wrapping electrical tape around the chewed wires--that quick fix did nothing to instill confidence in me as to the quality of that company's work. I then decided to use Bourgue again for the fall check of my gas furnace. So far, I'm pleased with them. They came out again this spring for the A/C check-up, but their price this time was $89.00. Their pricing, for both heating and cooling check-ups, seems to be in line with what others are charging.

These guys are the best - honest, prompt and well worth the cost for finding someone we can trust. Special acknowledgement to our Bourque team, Shane Flint who prepared the estimate and referred it to a technician for repair, and to our technician Dan Saulser - they are truly salt of the earth people who saved us thousands of dollars today and made Bourque thousands of dollars in future business from us! "Skilled" technicians from several companies on Angies list, came to our home to provide estimates for replacement (or repair) of our central AC unit as required. ALL VENDORS with the exception of Bourque said the AC had to be replaced, and could not be repaired. The Bourque employee, said let me send a repair person out to take a look at the AC because it is very possible that it can be repaired. Well when the technician came out, he discovered that the wires from the AC were cut in a way that made it difficult to repair and said that one of the wires could have been sloppy work, but the other was likely sabotage. Thank God for honest people like Dan Saulser and Shane Flint- they are great assets to Bourque!! Instead of paying up to $6,000 for a new unit, I paid $250 for a repair. I'm writing a review to thank Bourque for their excellent work and ethics, and may their honesty and professionalism be paid back ten fold. They definitely have our business when it's time to replace this unit.

I've used Bourque for many years (10) and I have always been very satisfied with their work, so when I needed a new furnace I called them. I was given a number of quotes with different options and chose one. I thought the pricing was a bit high compared to other companies, but went ahead with them anyway. The work was started within a week and completed in 3 days. As expected, they did an excellent job.

Outstanding service, work and timing. These guys are the real deal - Very friendly, hard working and aiming to make sure the customer is satisfied. Their price was also significantly better than competitors and their service was amazing.

A man showed up and looked at my furnace, he confirmed that I had already replaced my filter. He was here for less than 30 minutes and left. He stated everything was fine and left. I guess I was expecting him to be more informative as to what he checked and maybe more thorough. It made me feel like I had paid $69.00 for someone to tell me that I had already changed my filter and therefor everything was fine.

Great customer service. No heat in my house this AM (upstate NY in December!). I called at 8:30 and Dan was at my house by 10. They were even kind enough to call me 20 minutes before Dan arrived so I could leave work to meet him (and not wait all morning in a cold house). Dan diagnosed the problem in 5 mintues, had the part in his truck, and was done within 30 minutes. Exceptional work.
