Job went smoothly, but I was not home when worker left. Some chips not repaired to my expectation. I called Alex and he sent his man back to correct. I am now very happy with the job, and the marble looks as it did 25 years ago when the building was built.

Terrible. In removing the old tile they cut the frosted glass window and now it has two slash marks on it that I have to look at everyday and now that glass window is no longer perfect, and they installed one area that had a cracked tile. And to add insult to injury, now the tiles from the shower floor are coming up one by one. They used the wrong glue & grout so the tiles are not staying in place. I am now paying a new tile company to re-do the entire tile work that SparClean Marble had done.

It went swimmingly at first. Alex is a nice guy. He arrived on time and did a good job polishing the stone. The charge, $1759, seemed fair. I had wanted the dirty grout cleaned out but Alex said that would be very costly & was not included in the quote. I decided to hold off on doing it. They did the floors and kitchen island nicely. When they left I was pleased. It was only afterward that I discovered that they had damaged the moldings in two bathrooms, one door and a shower base. I contacted Alex and sent photos of the damage. He replied and apologized, saying that he will give me a 5% discount on my next project with him and said that he would speak to him men. I replied that this wasn't useful to me since I didn't plan to re-polish in the near future. I asked him to either do the repairs himself or cover the cost. He did not reply. After waiting several months I hired a painter to repair the damage to the bathroom doors and baseboards, I sent the bill ($220) to Sparclean and requested that he reimburse me for the cost. He did not reply. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Alex's response was remarkably defensive and amounted to a denial based on the fact that 1) I didn't notice the damage when they were there and 2) didn't contact him till several weeks later (I was away on vacation as he knew). I contacted him immediately upon my return. This unprofessional response changed my A rating to a D. Since his insurance would have covered the very modest cost to repair the damage he had caused to my newly renovated bathroom moldings, door and shower base, it is hard to understand his stubbornness. I strongly advise you not to use him because he cannot be trusted to take responsibility for his work.

Alex's men did a marvelous job. Even allowing for the few flaws in marble which really can't be totally evened out and sealed, they did an amazing job with two bathrooms which are total marble - walls from floor to ceiling, and floors. They got out all the areas which looked like someone had thrown eggs against the walls, and left them there to dry. The shine on the marble is impeccable. I will definitely have him do the same for the granite counters and floor in my kitchen in the very near future.

Alex Coronel is the president of this company. They do a beautiful job. The workers are extremely clean. We have work hours here so they have to work within certain period of time in a co-op. It is not like where the managers hang out. They have to clean out afterwards and they were excellent and they did a beautiful job. I have not used anybody else. The man who owns the place came out to look at the work if there was a problem and everything was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

He worked here for 3 days. It was hard work. They did a lovely job and were very careful. The marble looks fantastic.
