The Hobson team showed up on time and installed all of my upstairs windows in just under 3 hours. The guys worked very efficiently and cleaned up after the job was done. They went over all the features of the new windows and answered all my questions. I am very happy with my windows!

After contacting Hobson Glenn Hobson came to the house, measured all of the windows and discussed various options with me including window manufacturers, insulation rating, wood vs vinyl, and window styles. I received an estimate for the work later that day. After the windows were delivered to my house and stored in the garage we made an appointment for installation. The crew arrived exactly on time and quickly got to work. Everything went smoothly and all 24 windows were replaced in less than 5 1/2 hours. After the windows were installed and trim attached they vacuumed everything up and removed all of the debris (minus the windows we asked them to leave behind, which they left neatly stacked in the garage). They even moved the furniture back on the porch and installed our window air conditioning unit for us. Before they left I was shown how to lock, open, close, and tilt the new windows. Everyone was very pleasant and we're very happy with the work.

It was phenomenal! Todd and the crew from Hobson Window and Glass arrived at 8:30 am and were finished by 1 pm. They replaced our front entry door with an energy efficient insulated fiberglass door from the Therma Tru American Craftsman series. The door looks like it is a real walnut hardwood door. Honestly, you cannot tell the difference. The rear door to the patio was replaced with an insulated door with a window with buil in blinds between the panes of glass, we could not be happier. We were very pleased with the new window! The guys did an amazing job! First, they removed the old air conditioner and the through the wall support shelf/bracket. Then they cut the hole bigger and installed a new double hung window which matched the windows they had previously installed. These guys are real craftsman. We have aluminum siding on the outside of our house, and they replace all the outside and inside window trim with new. Everything looks like it was done new with the house. When they replaced our windows in 2011, we had a small bay window in our dining room! which had started to sag! to the point where the side windows of the unit could not be cranked open. Glenn explained that bay windows are usually support red by cables above the window that stretch and need to be readjusted sometimes after about a year. We elected to go with a custom made double hung window Glenn had made for us, as we didn't want the hassle of having to readjust the cables at a later date. When Todd and the crew replaced the window, we had some left over siding which they used, and you can't tell that this was not an original window. The crew at Hobson Window and Glass are the best! Their prices are competitive with everyone else, the work and craftsmanship is outstanding, when the the job is done, they leave your home as clean as when they arrived. No mess, no fess. No need to use anyone else. And now that they have a glass company that can custom cut glass, it's even better. Price alone is not always the best value!

From start to finish Hobson did a fantastic job. Everyone was very professional & knew every aspect of the job. They even put our blinds back up when they were finished. I would use them again & will recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job!

Glenn beat everyone's else's prices AND put in better windows AND was the sort of real, honest person that you get Angie's list to find--this was for us the proof of the Angie's List concept. Anyhow, they do great work, are responsible and honest. You can't beat that.

Based on the recommendation of a friend is how I came across the family owned business of Hobson Windows. Over the past year I have used them multiple times to install new windows in my home. Any home updates are costly so I chose to only do a few windows at a time and both Steve and Glen Hobson as well as their entire crew have been nothing but professional. From my first interaction with them it felt as if I had a family member in my home. Everyone in this business treated my home and family with respect. Removing and installing new windows can be a messy project and they never failed to protect my belongings. Covers were placed on the floors and furniture. They even vacuumed the floors when they were done for the day!! The driveway was their "work station" and was left immaculate. Conversations amongst workers were always kept professional and at a G rating which is nice for those people with young children around. My windows are gorgeous!!! When choosing, I wasn't pushed to go with the most expensive brand. I stuck to my budget and am extremely happy with their recommendations. They truly know their products! There is a big difference in my home with the lower noise level from outside as well as keeping in warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer from having better insulated windows. In summary, I HIGHLY recommend Hobson windows!! In all my interactions with them I am not able to find fault anywhere. That is quite a rare find. If you are looking for a stress free window installation company, do yourself a huge favor and go with Hobson Windows!!

Horrible attitude, completely unprofessional.

Glenn arrived at our home promptly on schedule, spent over an hour taking measurements and talking to us about options etc. We committed to have the windows replaced that morning. We couldn't be happier with the results. Great windows and a good price. His crew arrived as scheduled at 8:30 am and were finished with the installation and trimming by 12:30 pm. Cleanup and old window take away included. I would / will use Hobson's again for any and all window work I need in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

From the first contact to the installation of my windows Hobson Window Inc. was nothing but professional and I would recommend them for any window job you may have. The work crew was courteous, on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Company did a fantastic job. We were working from out of state. Glen came by to look at the window and made helpful suggestions to work with our budget but also provide a window that would look good with the remaining windows in the house. His work was timely and very good quality. He was a pleasure to do business with.

I learned of Hobson Windows from Angie's List. The owner, Glenn Hobson came to my house to provide an estimate for 3 basement windows. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the types of windows and options that I could chose from. The information he provided me, allowed me to select the best possible style windows for the basement. The estimate was provided quickly and he would call me back promptly whenever I had any additional questions. He managed my expectations well by estimating when the windows would arrive. On the day of the installation, several workers arrived promptly in the morning, and by lunchtime the windows were all installed and they had taken all of the old windows and debris away. They were so neat and clean and had put drop cloths on the floor before beginning. They even vacuumed the floor afterward. I wouldn't even have been able to tell anyone did any work since everything was left spotless! I was so satisfied with their work that I decided to have Hobson Windows replace my patio door too.

Since I was very satisfied with Hobsons Windows replacing 3 basement windows, I asked the owner Glenn Hobson to provide an estimate for a patio door. Glenn once again carefully explained all of the options I could chose from for the door. This greatly assisted me in choosing the right door. On the day of installation, several workers arrived promptly. They removed the old patio door and installed the new one seamlessly. As expected, they were exceptionally neat and clean. Once installed, they demonstrated how the door worked. I would recommend Hobson Windows to anyone who needs a new window or door. In the future, I will certainly contact Hobson Windows again for any windows or doors that I may need.

Hobson Window came to our Aunts house at 8:30 AM as they said they would and replaced 7 windows and 1 Sliding door and were done at 11:30. The work was excellent and they cleaned up very nice. Mr Hobson was very good to deal with. He listened to what she had to say and ordered just what she needed. Very good.

They did a very good job. The price was good. They did a great job, they were fast and efficient. I was very pleased. The price was really fair.

Prompt competitive price courteous no mess

The process started with the estimate. After calling them, they said they would be at my house for an estimate and to discuss products in two days. They showed up on time and spent time going over the products they install and the process from estimate to completion. They told me when to expect an estimate and I it in my email within the time frame they stated. After they left for the initial consultation, I came up with a bunch of questions. We communicated by email. They gave me prompt answers to my questions and when email wasn't appropriate vehicle, we would talk on the phone. All communications were prompt and I got thorough answers. The installation team showed up at 8:30 as they said they would. Like right at 8:30. There were 5 workers including their supervisor. This was right after Sandy and most came from southern areas and were without power where they lived. After a few minutes of chit-chat, they started their work. It was unbelievable. By 10:15 and the old windows were out, by 11:30 new ones were in. These guys were heads down workers. They spent NO time on cell phones. They worked. And when my wife came home from work, she was a bit dissapointed. Why you might ask? Because she comes home headed for the vacuum cleaner figuring she needed to do some cleanup behind the workers. Nope. no dust dirt or debris. Had a glass of wine and gazed out the new, very clean, windows. Unfortunately, the wrong size shutters were delivered. It happens. About a week later, the correct ones were delivered to Hobson and they arrived to do the installation. Same five guys and again heads down work. This took them about 1 1/2 hours to install. The windows have been in for about 8 weeks. I am very satisfied with both products, windows and shutters. The windows are so much more efficient than the originals. So much more comfortable with the cold weather. This is a very well run and efficient organization. I would absolutely use them again.

Hobson's did a great job, came right away to give an estimate, helped me decide which product worked best for my needs, then did the work fast and efficiently. No mess and the windows look fantastic. When we discovered a hidden defect in one pane they came out to see it, then ordered a new pane and popped it in as soon as possible. Very pleasant to work with.

One of the reasons I choose Hobson Window was that they are a local company with a trusted name in the area. I read a few reviews on Angies list and made the call. Steve got back to me quickly and made an appointment. He was sincere and did not try to sugar coat his estimate. He was a bit higher in cost than some others but I liked his style and honesty. His crew showed up on time and completed the job in one day. It was a painless procedure and I was very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of his crew. The house is already quieter and less drafty. The house was cleaner after they left than before. :) I would recommend Hobson Window to anyone.

There were either four or five installers who came punctually at 8:30 AM on the date arranged. They brought all the windows into the house at once and went to work. The work was done in an assembly line fashion. Each worker was concerned with one function and it was quite obvious that they were extremely experienced in what they did. Within four hours they were finished. They showed me how to open and close the casement window and how to clean the windows. They did an exceptional job cleaning up and I was left with nine, new, beautiful windows!

We had a lot of estimates and the cost was reasonable. They seemed very professional during the bid process and like they could get the job done. They had a big crew of people come out here and I was impressed how quickly they had it done, it was just half a day, and they had done all the windows in the house, that's like 20 windows and a sliding glass door. They came in, had a plan, knew what they were doing, had a lot of guys working on it, and got it done quickly. I would recommend them, they did a good job. There were a couple of things that went wrong that weren't their fault. It was a windy day and the windows knocked over but they replaced them and put temporary fixes in the window so that we would be okay till the new ones came. I would recommend them I think they have been very professional and did a good job.

We had windows installed and from start to finish everybody was professional & punctual. The Hobson crew all new what they were doing and after the windows were installed everything was so clean you couldn't tell anybody was even in your house.
