Description of Work: We Used Hapeman Painting to tape and paint a large garage with a high ceiling. We arranged to have it done over the summer while we were away, that made it good rainy day work for them and convenient for us. We had a very good discussion with Charle Hapeman about the cost for various levels of quality, and think we got an excellent job for the price charged. I did not rate Quality, Responsiveness, or Punctuality because it could be misleading given our arrangement. We are very satisfied and would use them again.

Description of Work: Staining of two story house and painting of all trim. The work was done well and the company was responsive to our needs and to punch list items, not all of which could be addressed in November because the weather interfered. Some minor items remain to be addressed once the weather is more predictable, and we negotiated a small holdback in that connection.

Description of Work: Charlie Hapeman has quality's that are extremely important to me, |he returns calls and emails immediately, shows up on the minute if it's to collect money or discuse a problem. Charlie addressed all situations and even went further on my job when stress cracks appeared after the areas were painted as well as other situations. Hapeman Painting and Constuction also brought a vent up to my roof through the wall for a self contained microwave vent over our stove, a good clean job and it was a mistake I made during the renovation as I realized I forgot about it until the painters finished. I paid a fair price for this. Charlie didn't nickel and dime us, made everything right and we only paid what we initially agreed on. The QUALITY is a B+, there was no place for this rating. We use DC9 Painters when appropriate and they are extremely expensive , time consuming and perfect. Everything must be put in perspective and as far as I'm concerned- Hapeman Painting are the go to people in Dutchess County.

 + -1 moreI was very pleased with the job overall. This was not an easy task as both ends of the house were in poor shape. Hapeman kept on schedule and repaired only what was needed. Clean up excellent. Work completed in about a week, although it took a couple of weeks to get together for our final walk-through. Looks like a completely different house.
Description of Work: Hapeman scraped,and painted 1860's farmhouse in poor shape. They are licensed in lead paint removal and took all the precautions required for safe removal. Also rebuilt soffits which had rotted and several window sills.
