John came to the site, took measurements for the barn, then went up on the garage roof (flat roof) and swept the water and leaves off. John then left to check on the cost of supplies, calling back within a short time and gave me a couple of options. He suggested the most economical one for me as I told him I was on a limited budget. Even though it was the most economical, I felt I was getting the best option for the price. Since the weather has been dry and sunny, John was able to come back the next day to complete both jobs. My barn looks very attractive now. It hasn't rained since the garage roof was completed. However, I do feel confident that the leaks have been repaired. John was very courteous, calling to let me know he would be a little late. He also took off the price of one of the buckets of roofing material as he did not use it. That gave me a good feeling! I would definitely call John again should I need something else done.

John came the day we called him to assess what was needed and give us an estimate. He had a "window" between jobs the following week and blocked out 2-3 days for the job. He and his assistant arrived on time and worked steadily, completing the fireplace work in about 2 hours and devoting the rest of the time to the bay window structure and gutters. The internal parts of the bay window were rotted and visibly moldy, including some of the studs. They saved what they could and replaced the rest, insulating where needed and finishing off with re-constructing our gutters over the bay window to stop leaks. They hauled away all waste except for what we requested be left behind. They were there a day longer than planned due to the complications in the bay window project, but the final cost was only slightly higher than the original estimate. We were very happy with the results and definitely will use John again for future projects!

The contractor contacted me by email through Angie's List on the day I placed my order. When I spoke with him the following day he advised me that his business area does not extend to the city in which I live. He was polite and professional and I agreed with his position.

Really easy process. Bed looks great, my son is really happy with it.

All told I used JTC Remodeling over several days. Using Angie's List's excellent references I contacted John who arrived the next day to give a clear estimate for the first job of scraping and painting a seriously deteriorated interior of a three season porch. They did a beautiful job also helping with moving heavy furnishings. By then I was encouraged to talk to John and Dale about two large finished rooms in the basement where the floor's paint was peeling. The floors needed cleaning and scraping. to prepare them. As well as painting the floor they repaired some sloppiness that was caused by the last painter who had slopped the floor paint up onto the baseboards. That took extra preparation and carefulness and the job was done beautifully. By that time I had learned that John's prices for work were very reasonable so I inquired about their moving a washer from one side of the basement to the other to place it near the dryer to make doing laundry more convenient. This job involved plumbing and electrical work and careful planning in order to make the drain go through the wall and meet the septic properly. I had discovered how talented these men were so I added a small plaster job in the bathroom and some gutter cleaning to my long wish list. That work was done beautifully. as well. All their estimates were clear and reasonable. Finally I must add that having both John and Dale in my home over several days I was very comfortable with their kind, professional and helpful manner.

He did all work as proposed. He was there when he said he would be. I let the contract for carpet which required John to come back to do the finish trim All trash was removed from site

We were very satisfied with this contractor's work for this job. This job was the third job he has done for us. We originally contacted JTC Remodeling, Inc. to build us a porch on our newly purchased house. We did not know anyone in the area and contacted John along with two other contractors. John immediately contacted us, helped us design the porch, did all the work with the town paperwork and inspector, and gave us a very fair price. He told us when he would start and finish, and he was true to his word. We were extremely pleased with the finished porch. We used John again when the house next door burned to the ground. There was slight damage to our windows on that side, electrical wires, aluminum siding, and the door was damaged when the firefighters entered the house. This work was done almost immediately. It looked like new again. We would recommend this contractor highly.

Very well. Some complications were found with the old support which John fixed still completing on time and on budget. Clean-up was perfect. The real prize here was John's willingness to take the time to minimize excess material ( we have one 3 foot piece left over). Also despite less than perfect weather he completed in the predicted time frame. After 10 months the deck is great and there have been no problems. We will use John again.

It went very well, It required an extension of the under-structure and new step. He also found problems with no flashing at the house and corrected that problem as part of the work. On time despite rain and on budget.

Extremely well. John is always on time, or if he is running late, he will let you know. He is experienced in all phases of carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. He is efficient and his prices are fair. I have used him in the past for window replacements, two new roofs, adding two porches, and adding electrical service to a barn and garage. As soon as we can make up our minds, we will be using him for a kitchen remodel.

John was on time for all meetings as well as for doing the work. He handled all aspects of the job in a very professional manner He will be the first I will contact for future work I have doon.

John Schroeder of JTC Remodeling was very efficient. He kept us updated on progress with emails and lots of pictures. We entrusted JTC Remodeling with the keys to our house and much of the work was performed while we were absent. We were extremely pleased with the finished product. We would definitely use JTC Remodeling again.
