They were prompt, courteous and professional. The first visit involved a consultation and measuring of the space. They listened and took into consideration all of our thoughts, questions, ideas and concerns. They provided a preliminary set of drawings, and when we questioned what we thought were discrepancies, they scheduled another visit to explain the ideas and re-measure the space for accuracy. They promptly provided a second set of drawings, and scheduled yet another visit with us to deliver the estimate. Since this job is a major re-design of a very small bathroom (enlarging the space by taking part of a nearby closet, moving walls, removing a window and replacing siding), we are putting the project off until we can save more money but we will not hesitate to use this company for the work.

He had an appointment with us to be here at 8:00 am. We had rescheduled our lives to make that appointment. I received an email saying that he was running late and he would be showing up around 9:00. He said to call him if there were any issues and he didn't even supply a telephone number to reach him. I contacted Angie's List for his contact information and after reaching him he was very argumentative on the phone. I would not recommend him as this experience was very unsatisfactory.

I've worked with Rob and Bill Porter over the past few months to completely renovate a very dated town home. I lived in another state while the work was being performed. Throughout the renovation, Rob called me a few times each week to provide updates and he was always available to take my calls and answer questions. He also met with me on weekends when I traveled to NY to assist me in the selection of finishes and materials, and his recommendations were excellent. I am now living in my newly renovated home, and am thrilled with the results. The quality of every aspect of their work is outstanding and I could not be more pleased. They have been helpful, responsive and professional throughout the project. I was concerned that such a large project could not be completed prior to my move to NY, but it was finished on time and on budget, When I arrived at my new home, Rob and Bill were waiting to greet me and give me a tour! I would recommend Rob and Bill without hesitation for any project - large or small.

The job is in progress, but so far, we are very pleased. Rob and his brother Bill are a delight -- very professional, they listen to what you want and are patient. When unforeseen things were uncovered (60-year-old, large, cast-iron pipes) in a soffit, Rob assured us that it was no problem and he was right. Very importantly, they are very neat and clean. Rob spent a day setting up to contain the dust a debris and keep the dust/dirt from going elsewhere. We are very pleased with how this is going. We have had bathrooms redone by another contractor and know first hand how things can go wrong once the contract is signed. That did not happen here and we are very confident with Rob and his brother and immediately saw the difference in how they operate and respect our home. They are very talented professionals.

We had no work done, as the company no-showed for the scheduled appointment. We did not receive a call to reschedule either. We are asking for a refund ASAP!

Didn't receive any call from them, just one message on Angie's list saying the time I suggested was not available. End of conversation.

One email with wrong dimensions and ask for more info without any response again.

I have not been able to act on the plans I received because my Mother was admitted to a nursing home since the plans were drawn up. I do plan to follow up as soon as I can.

Two cheerful members of the company came promptly, reviewed the job I wanted done (remodel bathroom), took measurements, promised someone would call to talk about wall paper, and that was it. No wallpaper person, no proposal or plans, no estimate, no further contact. No job done. Have no idea what it might have cost, but it was a wasted $49 "deal."

They did a good job. They did not do what Angie's List described but they were very honest with the service. What they provided did not fulfill the need that I had. The two guys did do a great job and they were on time. They did let me know what they do and what the Big Deal says are two different things.

An appointment time was agreed upon. Contractor did not show or call. I followed up a couple of weeks later and he said he was nearby and could come immediately. OK (strike 1) Discussion and measurements were made. Follow up promised. Several weeks passed and I called him. He said they were backed up and he would respond. I still have not received a proposal or design plan. (strike 2) At this point, I feel ripped off and I would not trust this contractor to start and finish a job in my home. I want a refund for poor services undelivered and lack of communication.

Rob and his brother Bill built us a beautiful shower this past Fall. Designed in cooperation with a K & B designer who conveniently is associated with Rob, the result exceeded our expectations.

He was very professional and did a very good job. He spent a good amount of time measuring the kitchen and explaining various options. I was happy with the work he did today.

They’re pretty booked up right now (probably because of The Big Deal they’re running), but so far so good. They’ve come out and we’ve already started working through the plans.

Much better than I expected, since this was major room redo for me. Bob and his brother Bill were both very helpful in decision making /choices working with tile I chose and providing a less costly option for decorative tile that worked beautifully, keeping within my preferred budget, while understanding my wish list and needs. Both kept me informed daily of progress, plan, answered my questions, etc. Work areas always left neat and at end of project completely cleaned up their work area. left my garage looking better than when they arrived ! When I identified an issue with uneven area in tile it was corrected as requested. On last day there was a minor issue with shower hardware hose leaking/dripping and Bob immediately contacted vendor to request replacement part asap, and assured me that when it came in he'd call me and be back to adjust it-it doesn't impair use of shower / new bathroom. The only negative was with vendor for bathroom fixture/vanity, etc. - which was recommended by Bob , Frank at business was very helpful with helping me find the vanity cabinet I wanted. However there was a delay in one item which was bothersome -sink faucet part on back order for weeks -Bob was able to call another supplier who had this item in stock? I also found out that I probably could have gotten a better price on fixtures by having Bob order them thru plumbing supply. This is not a negative on Dynamic kitchens but consumer doing homework and asking right questions :) Bob did rec Best Tile in wilton and they were great to work with - Maura was patient helpful and had great ideas and feedback.

Rob & Bill removed everything in the old bathroom, (including Sheetrock walls & ceiling), existing shower, bathtub, vanity cabinet, sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, lighting and sub-floor......... They offered two major suggestions that "dramatically" improved the overall quality of the bathroom. 1st) : Modify an adjacent closet, which allowed the installation of a 36" wide vanity, as opposed to the old 24" one. 2nd) : surround the shower area with "tile", instead of a one-piece fiberglass shower partition............. Their Workmanship is "First Class".............

Rob was such a pleasure to work with. He did the work quickly, thoroughly, showing me progress personally each step of the way, and within budget. When Rob said it would be a couple of weeks' worth of work, I automatically added a month, based on experience with other contractors in the past. But Rob and Dynamic Kitchens and Baths did the project ON TIME, if not even a little earlier than anticipated. He also brought in a great subcontractor when a plumbing problem was found. I can't recommend Dynamic enough and will be using them again in the future.

Rob Porter and his brother, Bill were highly professional and committed to the whole project. The detail and attention to the creation of our full bathroom which included, the tiling of entire bathroom floor and large shower/wall produced a breath-taking final product which I absolutely love. The completed wet bar is gorgeous and is HGTV magazine quality. Rob and Bill want you to be happy with the results and take pride in their work which is hard to find. My husband and I are truly happy with the results of the whole project and the way Rob managed it. This project started the end of January and was completed on April 12. I can honestly say, we will miss working with Rob and Bill and would highly recommend this company. In fact, I had just added a small project (tiling the backsplash of bar) which they will complete the week of April 15. We were very happy with all these recommendations and the project managing of the subcontractors. The results of the work performed on the entire remodeling basement project is beyond our expectations and I know we will enjoy our basement for years to come.

Job went greatl. Rob and his brother Bill are true professionals who take great pride in the work they do. They came up with some great ideas and did some wonderful custom work such as the shampoo/soad cadys in bothe the shower and tub areas. Rob and Bill are two gentleman that treat their clients with respect and honesty. Their prices are very fare and the quality of work is exceptional.

We found Rob Porter on Angies List. He came to our home and gave us an estimate (which is what we were ultimately billed) on our job and a realistic time frame for completion. We had already picked out our materials but Rob suggested we check Diane Staalsen at VP Supply before we made any committments on materials. Diane helped us put together a beautiful bathroom and kept us on budget. Rob, his brother and their assistant worked fast, efficiently and kept us involved thruout the project. They made good suggestions and we very quickly learned to trust their judgement. From custom tile work, to the installation of all our fixtures to plumbing, our bathroom far exceeds our expectations. I would gladly use Rob Porter and his crew again.

Rob was very patient as I got 3 bids for the job and weighed my options. He was very helpful and stayed within my budget and helped me bring creative solutions both price wise as well as design. He was willing to work with other vendors (granite, sink and faucet, custom pantry) and did a great job coordinating with them. He worked with my very hectic work schedule for the installation. Rob always left my house the way he found it cleaning as he worked. His son joined for some of the installation and was equally as professional and hard working. He did a fantastic job. I couldn't be happier and I plan to work with him in the future on a couple other projects. Any issues that we had really had more to do with the vendor for the custom pantry - they made several mistakes on the parts - so this dragged the project on. Fortunately he had good connections there to help get the issues resolved quickly and I never had to get involved which for me was a huge plus. The one room for improvement area is to make sure all of the costs and plans are documented. Fortunately Rob is a very nice and helpful person and any questions I had regarding the price and when payment was due we worked out calmly and professionally but this was one area that could be improved. I feel very fortunate that I hired Rob because I had such a great experience.

As I said above I could not be more pleased with the final result and highly recommend him. He is pleasant to work with, friendly and highly professional. He gets and A plus in my book.

Professionalism: -They were willing to drive to our location, others were not. -They carefully listened to what we wanted, commented, questioned and then gave an accurate estimate of costs, supplies and timelines. The cost estimate for the job was right on target. The amount and type of supplies were accurately calculated. Timelines slipped a little when Mike and Rob would not accept a product that did not meet their high standards. -They arrived on time and ready to work everyday. Either Mike or Rob was on the site the entire project. - They conscientiously prepared the surrounding area before work each day: Laying plastic over bedroom furniture, covering the floor with tarps, covering carpeted stairs and wood floors with protective tarps/plastic. - They cleaned up after each days work. Additionally they have a cleaning team come in post job and do a thorough cleaning. - They kept us apprised of the progress on a daily basis. If they didn?t need to be there they weren?t there wasting our time or theirs. - They caught our mistakes; we selected the wrong color of paint, they noticed it immediately, brought it to our attention and helped us select the right color. They explained when something we wanted wouldn?t work/look good and worked with us to reach the best result. Workmanship: Their workmanship was superb. We were aware of what this work entailed having completed some renovations on our own in the past. - Their timing of the work was flawless. Whether tiling, window replacement, plumbing or electrical work there was no down time except for the previously mentioned product issue. Reliability: As stated above, they came when they said they would and worked tirelessly until the day?s tasks were completed. - Efficiently completed the punch list, although that was very small due to their diligence during the project. - Returned several months post completion to fix a minor plumbing fixture issue. Bonus: They offer a contractor?s rate vs. commercial rate when you use their suppliers, who were all very professional, personal and helpful. - Their cleanliness on the job - Their personal friendliness. We enjoyed them while they worked with us on the project. We have made two new friends. - They obviously love the work they do. It is reflected in every aspect of the job. Problems: The only problem is finding other projects for them to do in our house.
