Overall Mik was great to work with. Showed up on time. The quality was excellent. The pointing of the steps wasn't what I had hoped initially, but Mik was quick to come back to fix the problem. The end product was terrific. Great customer service, great quality. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Mik is a very responsive foreman, who did a terrific job on the repointing of the exterior and interior bricks of my home. I was impressed by how quickly he resolved any issue that arose, which is a big plus when dealing with any contractor. His crew is also extremely professional and polite and the exterior wall looks fantastic.

I'm a repeat customer with Milestone Restoration. Mik and his crew did the brick pointing in the back of my house 2 years ago. Since I was happy with their quality of work and professionalism, I asked them back to evaluate a leak around my bay window. Mik, the owner, came right away and pinpointed the area of the leak and also suggested other areas that could use some maintenance such as brick pointing for the front of the house, replacing of a few slates on the roof, etc. I found his quote to be reasonable and went with his recommendation. He and his crew came to perform the job on time and on budget. He even fixed the gutter that he put in 2 years ago that came loose without charging. Very happy with their work, highly recommend them and will use them again.

They replaced a lot of the brick, they painted and had to seal up some of the cracks. Even though several visits had to be made to correct some problems, I was pleased with the final job. The owner tried very hard to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. He was very pleasant..

Mik and his crew did a good job of powerwashing,scraping and paing the Cornice of my three story home. While setting up his scaffolding,Mik notice and pointed out to me a damaged concrete sill that was in bad condition. I agreed to have him repair it while he was there. The job started and finished on the agreed dates stated on the proposal.

I made an appt for 8:30. I got a phone call that he would be 15 minutes late. I waited until 10am and did not know what happened. Not sure he went to the wrong address.

Mik was extremely responsive, attentive to my questions and concerns, and responsible from the first e-mail via Angie's List through yesterday's completion of the job. Other contractors either were unwilling, did not have the expertise to complete the variety of necessary projects, suggested extra work I "needed to get done", or offered much higher bids for less comprehensive work. Being the owner of small four story townhouse means there is not a huge budget to hire multiple contractors, but also means one wants more than a "handyman" to do professional quality work and clearly execute the job. Milestone's workers took time and pride in the quality of the job and finished in the two days they promised. Mik definitely conveyed that the customer's satisfaction comes first. He promised to re-mediate anything, especially roof, if leakage continues.

We'd hired Mik to simply replace concrete for concrete. It was his great idea to use bricks instead. He and his wonderful crew were there on time, did the work beautifully, and left the area spotless. They even rinsed off the cars in front of our house! Highly recommend to anyone!

If you want a no-worry, do-it-on-time, good workmanship contractor and are willing to pay a bit more -- these are your guys. The communication is great. They completed every item specified, no matter how large or small. And they completed everything ahead of the deadline. The workmanship was superb. The cleanup was terrific. The main contact, Mik, is a great guy, speaks and writes clearly, oversees all work, and understands all elements of the tasks to be done. Skilled workers are supplied for each type of work needed. There were no problems! What a welcome relief from other contractors.

For any future masonry work I know who I'm calling.

Called Milestone Restoration for an estimate, which was provided the next day, immediately after surveying the work that needed to be done. After leaving the proposal Milestone telephoned me to tell me that he had forgotten to include an Angie's List discount to the price and that I could reduce the cost by the discount. A 10% deposit was mailed to Milestone and the work was scheduled for the following week. Crew arrived on date promised and work was performed efficiently, neatly and professionally over a three day period, as was promised in the proposal. This work is naturally messy and produces quite a bit of dust, however, Milestone was very good with cleaning at the end of each day, as well as at the completion of the work. Overall very satisfied.

Mik contacted me promptly and made an appt. to have a look at the damage on my stoop. He quoted me a fair price ( I had an estimate from another provider I used previously which was $400 more, and he had no time to do the work for weeks) He also told me about how long it would take to do the job. I must say he made every attempt to work within my schedule, and made the whole ordeal of home repair absolutely stress-free. The work was completed as promised, and I thought he did a great job. When i noticed there was a little bit of unevenness on one section, he returned the next day and took care of it without any hesitation. I would use Milestone again and recommend them highly.

Mik showed up when promised and called in advance when the weather forecast suggested postponement. He provided our broker with all the necessary insurance certificates promptly and without follow-up. He came with a crew large enough to do the job and manage the sidewalk traffic below. They made sure they left the interior space the way they found it. They finished the job in under 2 days, faster than promised. Work: repaired/rebuilt a 50' cornice over the 4th story windows. Repair damaged bricks and repoint where needed along 4th story.

Mik came to look over the problem areas and provided thorough recommendations for what to do and what was unnecessary. He left me with a written work proposal and price quote. He even called me shortly after he left to remind me to print out a coupon from Angie's List. As I requested, Mik was able to squeeze us in a few days earlier than originally scheduled. All the work was done in 3 days. I had cautioned Mik about clean-up, wanting to minimize impact on my neighbors. Mik and his brother (who supervised the work on the second day) made sure to spend sufficient time and effort at the end of each workday to clean up with care. My primary concern was weather-proofing my building's exterior. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and price. The exterior looks good and no leaks from last week's heavy rain. Will definitely call Mik for future work.

Milestone Restoration came and stuccoed a leaky garage wall that's approximately 19' x 10'. The agreed price was $3500.00 which included stucco and apply a water proof membrane that's 2' x 6' to the bottom of the leaky wall after the stucco is done. The price was high in my opinion but I thought it's worth it due to their many positive reviews on this website. The job was thorough and the leak has stopped. I will do business with them again.

Mik Singh and Milestone Restoration are true professionals. Their quality of work is excellent, they are among the most responsive & punctual contractors I've ever worked with, and their prices are the most competitive around. I can't say enough good things about them. If you live in Queens and are considering any type of brick work, roofing, exterior painting, etc., these gentlemen are the best. Will undoubtedly be using Milestone Restoration for all future jobs.

Mik was incredibly responsive........and I appreciate that aspect of his business. All of the work performed was extremely well done with attention to detail continually present!!!! Mik was honest, his prices were extremely competetive and his men were hard working. Time schedules were on time and when adjustments were needed, Mik was always willing to work with you. Cleanup of debris was amazing! I couldn't be happier with the work they performed and Mik's attention to the client! Mik is HONEST.....something difficult to find in this industry. He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, even kind --a genuine, good guy. I ended up deciding not to have the job done right now, but when I need a mason again, I'll call Mik.

We had used the company before for some minor slate roofing work and found them professional. For the repointing, they worked with us through the landmark approval process, and did the work quickly and well with a sizable crew. When we needed a touch up 6 months later, he came the same day and fixed it and was friendly about it. Great service and we will continue to use for masonry and roofing needs.

I made two appointments and both time he didn't show up or call. I called after he missed the first appointment and he said he was running late and wanted to reschedule. I reschedule for the following week. This time I called to confirm an hour before the scheduled time and he told me he couldn't make it, can he come the following day since he would be in the neighborhood. Neither times did he apologize for missing the appointments. I found this company to be very unprofessional
