Mik was responsive and professional throughout. He provided prompt quotes, came when he said he would, did what he said he would, and was done when he said he would be. His men were skilled and industrious, though they were a little sloppy leaving the door to our house open in cold weather. Overall, a very good experience, and I recommend them highly.

You don't find contractors like this often. Mik and his team understood exactly what we needed and they simply did an amazing job. They renovated a stoop on a NYC street next door to a busy public school. They executed everything with care - i didn't have to point out details to be fixed; they simply did the job right. The neighbors even said they appreciate the care they took in protecting the adjacent property while working. We will be calling these guys again in the future.

I found Milestone on Angie's List and felt comfortable with the solid reviews. Mik came out and surveyed our chimney which is about 35 feet tall and exposed on all four sides. The chimney was part of the original house (1927) and was never re-pointed so it was in need of serious repair. I had received another quote but it was higher and I liked Mik approach to the project better than the other contractor. They arrived on time and got right to work, grinding out some of the old mortar and began pointing from the top down. They took care to leave the bricks clean and the mortar joints slightly recessed to mimic the original style which was important to me. Mik also shared with me the type of cement used and the ratio of sand for the mix. I am an amateur mason doing small jobs around the house so I was curious and he was happy to share his knowledge. I would recommend for future work because he is professional, knowledgeable and engaged with the customer.

Milestone were excellent from beginning to end. Very responsive and punctual to phone calls, estimate and the job. Excellent communication throughout. Job was very professionally done and the crew was very polite and did a really clean job. I'd definitely work with them again.

It was great no complaint. The work wasn't flush, they took their time to finish. I Will hire milestone again.

Mik was vert straight forward and helpful, he and his crew finished the job in the time and manner promised. All work was up to expectations and they took care of a few other small issues that came up along the way. May use them again for a future project.

I called Milestone Restoration at the number provided by Angie's list and Mik Singh, the owner, answered promptly. He asked me for a description of the work I needed performed (repointing of a retaining wall) and after discussion, asked me to text him with pictures so he could determine the scope of what was needed. After he reviewed them, he asked if he could stop by to inspect the property - we agreed on a time and while he was delayed, he made sure to call me to advise me of the delay and to ensure that an alternate time was suitable for me. After arriving on site, he pointed out areas which I had not considered but which were also in need of attention. After we agreed on pricing (which was competitive, to say the least), he offered me several alternatives for commencement of work. I had preferences and he had no problem meeting them. Before leaving, he told me what resources he would need (essentially, access to AC power and water). On the agreed on day, he arrived with him crew on time and with all the equipment he needed. He and his crew [paid careful attention to detail, ensuring that they spread tarp covers over my lawn to prevent dust and mortar accumulation as they worked. The crew was remarkably neat and the work was done neatly and professionally and within the specified time frame. In sum, I found Milestone to be professional, thorough and skilled.

They did exactly what we discussed for the amount we agreed to. Mik Singh is easy to work with. When it rained the night before, we assumed they would not come. But they buzzed about 8:30 that morning and worked until 6 pm. We want to use them for other projects. They were meticulous in cleaning up.

During our consultation, Mike was professional and honest. His quote was reasonable. The work was completed on time, but the aesthetics of one of the repairs (replacing concrete surface on pathway leading to our front door) were quite poor due to the type of concrete used and finish. Mik was very responsive to our concerns and replaced the entire section with limestone to match the rest of our stairs at no additional cost. He was truly committed to getting it right and I would count this as one of my best experiences with a contractor.

Mik is an excellent communicator and the work was high quality. Everything was done on time, from Mik's arrival to do the estimate to the start and completion of the work. They kept the job site clean and orderly and left our home and yard clean. Mik's planning and organization was evident. Everything went smoothly. The process needed very little oversight or supervision on our part. Milestone is clearly a very professional operation.

They did point work and crown on my chimney. Fixed a leak on my porch that solved 90% of my problem saving me over $1200 based on other estimates. They reinforced a drip ledge on the side of the porch and came back a second time to firm everything up. He also sealed around a window which helped significantly with the leaking. They also pulled heavy vines going up two stories off of my home, as well. I was very satisfied and intend to use him again for some other things.

I was very pleased with Mik's responsiveness. He answered my calls and provided me with an estimate very quickly. I was under the impression that the damage in one area would require more extensive repairs but Mik corrected me and indicated that it was not as extensive as I thought. The workers were very neat and cleaned up each day after their work was completed. The workmanship was excellent and they were able to match the original bricks wherever they need to be replaced. Not only would I recommend Milestone Restoration, I would not use any other masonry company myself other than Milestone Restoration. I could not have had a better experience.

Milestone came recommended by a neighbor. I happen to be a contractor too (electrician), so I think of myself as pretty good at reading between the lines. I've 'learned' that the old adages are true: You get what you pay for. Dot the I's, cross the T's. Copy all the documents and keep them forever. As a result, Milestone scared me a bit at first! Their estimating process was extremely quick, and it was constantly punctuated by reassurances that they would "take care of everything" (a phrase that many high-end contractors know all too well to avoid uttering). The written scope of work was scribbled out with a pencil on the spot. The deposit amount was changed on the fly several times for no reason that I could discern. But when the work started, I could see right away that I'd made the right decision. These guys aren't messing around. The entire crew was salty old masters - not an apprentice in the bunch. They get in, they do a great job, they get out. My wall is stable again. Milestone followed the rabbit hole all the way down. They truly took care of everything, and it is a great load off my mind. A contractor with that kind of confidence and skill is worth their weight in gold. I'd recommend them without any hesitation.

Milestone responded quickly to an emergency situation with care, competence and thoroughness to solve a leak issue that had several causes.

Mik, the owner of Milestone Restoration, was able to provide an estimate within an hour of my initial contact. The job commenced within five days and took the 3 days estimated, even when additional roof and parapet wall repairs were discovered once the wood deck was removed. Even with the unanticipated repairs, I was easily able to negotiate the extra cost at a reasonable price. The work crew was diligent, courteous and clean. Debris was cleaned up after each work day. As in many Coops, tenant/owners can be demanding and inflexible when extensive work encumbering the property is needed. But I received no complaints about inconveniences. In fact, my Coop neighbors expressed appreciation for the efficiency and quality of the work. I will definitely call on Milestone Restoration in the future. I will also add that I rated the quality as "good" instead of "excellent" because the efficacy of the repairs cannot be wholly determined until the roof and brick work have weathered through a few years. But I do not expect any problems. And I have guarantee from Milestone to repair at no cost any problems that may occur resulting from their work. I am completely satisfied with the work.

This was my second time using Milestone. Mik was great. An inspector told us we should have the seams re-tarred, flashing repaired, and roof painted with the silver oxide paint. Mik was there on time. He told us that with our kind of roof the paint was not needed and could even make it harder to tar the seams in the future. So he didn't paint and took that off the price. He and his crew did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

The provider said he had insurance on the website, and on the phone; but when I would not let him continue until he had a certificate, he got it bound for one day only, so he does maintain insurance. His roof work helped the situation. I would not pay him until he finished the cement work on the front of the building. Which he did very well when he got to it. Touch and Go. Would use again only if I were in a tough spot.

So initially the contractor was prompt to the appointment for the estimate. He said the job -which was for whitewashing two sides of a semi-attached building would be done in two days over a weekend. So we set up a date in July. I inform neighbors of the date to keep the driveway free. As the date approaches I call to confirm. He cancels. We set up a new date - now in September and again he cancels. He tells me that he will call me back to set up a new date. I am still waiting. The caveat here is that I would not have known that he was cancelling until I CALLED HIM. Otherwise he would be a no-show. Milestone Restoration - if you don't want to take the job, don't string people along and waste their time. Be real.

Mik was very responsive and professional. He missed a small spot in our skylight but came back the day after we alerted him of this to make sure the job was complete. Would call Mik again for sure.

Upon first consultation with Mik, he was on point. He gave several options on how to proceed with our stoop repair with a very good break down of materials, time, and costs. Mik and his crew (2 workers) were fantastic. Communication with Mik was always punctual, clear, and to the point. They arrived at the time they specified they would be there. The job also took slightly less time than estimated. All the work was done very well, professionally. They paid particularly good attention to the job, even finding a few spots that I had missed on my own inspection! They did a very good cleaning. Throughout the whole process, Mik was very respectful and detailed all decisions and options. Highly professional and excellent work done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The experience was EXCELLENT! Mik and his crew are true artisans. Right from the start Mik, the point person was easy to contact and made himself accessible. The project started and completed on time without any problems. When Mik discovered that the chimney needed more work than was visibly apparent when he first scouted the project, he graciously did the extra work and insisted on staying within the originally quoted price. When the work was completed, the crew cleaned up and left the site in better shape than it was before they started. I'm very happy with the entire process and outcome.

I requested a bid for repointing the interior of a 107 year old brick building that I recently gutted. Mik quoted me $10 per sq ft which is about double what the going rate is for quality work.

They arrived when they said they would (if they say 8.30 they mean it!), they estimated accurately, e.g. what time they'd finish, number of days (2) etc. At completion they took all the garbage with them and left the areas cleaner than they were before they started. They did what they said they would do, worked hard and fast and offered helpful advice. The quality of the work seems very good and I would not hesitate to use them again, their quote was the most competitive and they were better at advising of what really needed doing. Yes I would use them again. Yes I would highly recommend them. These guys rock.
