They were great to deal with every step of the way. From the estimate to leaving a clean work area, Mik and Co. couldn't have been better. They were a complete pleasure to deal with in and also came in with the lowest bid.

Excellent service and results. Mik and his craftsman are very well qualified and did a wonderful job repointing our house. Will definitely use them again when it comes time to do more work on our house. Project was done quickly without compromising the quality.

Mik Singh provided a reasonable estimate, was thorough and clear in explaining the work. Once we scheduled the work, he was punctual and professional. He worked alongside his crew and supervised them precisely. The work was high quality. Mik reused the bricks above the lintels in the front instead of using new brick. This was more time-consuming to him and he decided to do it because he knew I cared, at no extra cost. This is someone who clearly cares about the quality of his work and his reputation. He gave me a 7 year guarantee on the parapet repointing and 20 years on the back wall. After the work was done, Mik and his crew cleaned up very well. He was a great communicator throughout this whole process, quick to answer questions, by text or by phone and very easy to work with. This was overall a great experience and I would hire Mik again without hesitation, as well as recommend him to anyone.

Mik showed up on time, did all the work in a highly professional manner and the price he charged was well under any other estimates I got for this job. Some of the estimates were as high as $8,000. He was prompt and did the work quickly.

They were professional, responsible, reasonably priced, and did a wonderful job in a timely fashion. We got quotes from four other companies and Mik was the most reasonable and really pleasant. The team of workers were very thorough. The house was in great condition when they left despite how messy doing this work can be. We will definitely use them again and absolutely recommend them to others!

I had a small slow leak in the roof, and had a stain in one of the bedroom ceiling. At first I was not going to do anything about it until early spring, for at first it was not a big deal, but like everything else the problem began to grow. Being we had such a bad winter, and a lot of snow, I though maybe I should wait. Well I decided to call Mik to take a look at my problem (leak). I must also let you know I had Milestone Restoration do some work for me last year. They replaced my garage roof and re-pointed and painted the back wall of my house. On 2/20/14, I call Mik and informed him of my problem. He came to the house within a few hours. He went up to the roof , and checked it out. I really had no idea of what he would find, and come back with. He was up there for a while, and I could not understand why so long. Well it turned out he was taking pictures of the problems to show me. (I COULD NOT BELEIVE IT). He wanted to show me the problem. I have never had anyone do something like that before. He told me he was going to re-tar the seems on the roof, for there was a opening in a couple of places so all the seems needed to be re-tarred. He also told me the chimney needed to be pointed, and the wall between my neighbors house and my house(we are attached) , needed to be re-tarred . I asked him how the condition of the roof was, and he told me I do not need a whole new roof. To me this was a big deal, for he could have told me a new roof was needed and taken me for a lot of money. He gave me the price, and I said OK lets do it. I feel so much trust with this man, and his company. I will never get anyone else to work on this house except Mik. They came to the house on 2/25/14, and did the work. When he was done, he informed me to wait for a good heavy rain before having the bedroom re-painted. He also told me if I have any problems to call him right away, and he will come to the house immediately.

they checked on the condition of the roof and told me it was in good shape except for a gap bet. the chimney and the shingles. the owner, Vic, said he did as good a job as he could with some tar patch and said it should be ok through the winter but recommended installation of copper flashing bet. the chimney and roof, and also repointing of the chimney brick work above the roof line. He gave me a quote. since i didn't go onto the roof I can't comment of the quality of the patch work he did. he also replaced a shingle that had torn off on another part of the roof at no additional cost. All in all he was very courteous and professional. If I do the repairs he recommends, I will probably use him if other quotes are similar to his.

This is the 2nd time Mik and his crew did a job for me and again, he did another excellent job. This time it was for my parent's home. Mik took the time to come by and assess the work. Within 24 hours, he prepared a written estimate of the entire job. Once we gave him the ok, he requested a small 10% deposit for the work and to schedule. Work was started a week later and took 5 days to complete. Two days the crew was not present because the brick needed time to dry and the other day was extremely cold to work outside. He finished up, cleaned up the entire premise and explained everything that was done. It took a little longer than anticipated, but it was a big job and in the end was definitely worth the time and effort. Work included raking out old cement, power washing entire front facade, repointing exterior 20 foot wide 2 story tall plus chimney bricks walls, installing gutter/leader pipe, waterproofing area under a window in front, repointing rear lintels, removing a crack in stucco garage wall by thorocoating and repainting the entire wall.

The Contractor, Vic, scheduled the inspection for a Saturday and kept in contact with me the day of, slightly adjusting the schedule to come a bit early. The 2 man crew did the inspection and informed me that our roof was in good condition and had at least 10-15 yrs. left in it but noted that there was separation bet. the chimney and roof and recommended installation of copper flashing and replacement of shingles in the local area. They also recommend repainting the upper chimney and replacement of some spalled bricks. they put tar patch as best they could and they quoted me on the spot for the recommended repairs. They gave me a written copy of the quote. Before they left they re-installed a shingle I gave to them that had fallen off in the past.

Amazingly well! Mik provided quote right away, we were under very tight timeline to get it done and he was able to schedule th work within a week and was completed as agreed within 2 days. He is by far the best contractor I have worked with in the past and he is very reasonable, knowledgeable and reliable.

Mik was approachable and punctual (a rare trait for contractors I?ve noticed). After getting 4 other estimates Mik had the second best price but his professional demeanor made us choose him. He took the time to walk me through and explain all of the work needed. He wrote me a detailed estimate and scheduled the job on the spot. His 3 man crew showed up early and finish their work within the day. They also cleaned up and took their rubbish with them. A couple of the seams aren?t as neat as they could be but overall he did an excellent and through job. They even went above and beyond by pointing a couple of extra sections not listed in the estimate. I?ll definitely call him back when I?m ready to redo the full side of the house.

The job required the workers to go through the parlor floor of this building which is owned by another co-op shareholder in order to reach the back yard where they could hoist their hanging scaffold. This required sensitivity to the concerns of those owners, which they learned how to do satisfactorily. The team of two/three men worked together very efficiently. Milestone is owned by a personable young man who does a lot of the work himself. He is a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work looks very good to me. The real test, however, will be how well it lasts. The whole job took a total of four days on two separate occasions..

Milestone Restoration, Mik and his crew did a very good job; they were on time, very professional during and after their jobs done; for instance Mik was more than patient with me during his init. survey for his job in my house, addressed every concerns for both my wife and myself; during their works, they paid attention to details, also made their best not to bring much dirt into the house, or they would clean up right away. I am equally amazed to see after they were done with their jobs, they spent more than half an hour to clean up everywhere outside the house, including top of our sprinkle box. I would highly recommend Milestone Restoration Inc. to anyone, and remember to ask for Mik, someone appears to me, is not only an honest man, but also a contractor you can count on to get the job done right. It was a pleasure to work with Mik and his men. Right from the start, every interaction was professional and I felt that I received a fair quote. I am very pleased with the work that was performed and plan to use Milestone in the future. Some neighbors were also impressed and I recommended Milestone without any hesitation.

The work was excellent, the price was definitely excellent & the clean up was excellent. We planned on using them for a big sidewalk cement job in the fall. Just couldn't swing the cost. So Milestone is our contractor for future work to be done. We would highly recommend Milestone Restoration.

It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Singh. We called for an estimate. Mr. Singh responded promptly and explained the problem. Mr. Singh not only explained the problem in lay terms but he was able to provide a clear understanding on what his team would do to resolve the problem. There was no pressure or salespitch. Just honest information, whcih is not seen with all contractors. Mr. Singh's team arrive on time. They utiized scaffolding to repair the hole in the wall,caulked and smooth the cracks around the windows. They used two coats of thoroseal. In addition, they repaired the side and front gutters by reinforcing them with brackets. After they finished the work, they cleaned up the site thoroughly. I highly recommend Mr. Singh and his team for their exemplary work.

Contractor arrived on time and gave a reasonable estimate for the job. On the day of the job, he arrived with his workers on time and they quickly got to work. They did a good job in closely matching the replacement bricks with the existing bricks which were over 90 years old. Their work was neat and professional and they cleaned up the work area when the job was completed. The Contractor kept to the estimated cost even though they had to do more rebuilding than was anticipated. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Mik answered the phone the first time I called and came and gave me an estimate two days later. He was prompt, professional and courteous. We reviewed the work that needed to be done and agreed on an approach, a price and a date for the actual work to be done. Mik then wrote up a contract with all of the particulars that we both signed and I gave him deposit. Mik and two assistants arrived on time on the agreed upon day. Not only did they do the work we agreed upon they did a little extra work on the roof at no additional charge. I reviewed the work before they left and everything appeared to be in order and I have not had any issues. They cleaned up everything and left my house as they found it. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing the kind of services they provide. My only complaint is that they cannot complete all of the work I need done around my house.

This was a huge job restoring four stories of brickwork that had deteriorated for at least 50 years under a coating of tar. I highly recommend Milestone. They did the work very quickly and on very short notice. They are very experienced with brickwork and their workmanship was excellent. Finally, while this was not cheap, I feel that the cost of service was fair and reasonable. Given the complexity of this job, I really couldn't ask for anything more.

Mik was a very good communicator and a professional contractor. He did the work quickly and at a good price, and was willing to work with me on my bank's requirements for the improvement. Would recommend him for sure.

After contacting Mik, I received an appointment the very next day. After coming to my home to access the problem area a quote was given. No pressure was given to sign a contract. I recieved other quotes from other companies, that were a little cheaper, however, I decided to move forward with Mik due to the warm and comfortable feeling i got after speaking to him. Good thing I followed my intuition, despite paying a little more money I have yet to encounter any problems with the portion of the roof replaced by Mik. Overall, Mik and his team arrived on time, worked throughout the day without may breaks, explained things to me along the way, and even canvased my entire roof looking at further issues that exist. I must say I have no complaints.

We are pleased with the work done by Milestone Restoration, Inc. The work was done according to our written contractual agreement, for a reasonably fair price (compared to what other companies asked). They worked in a professional, timely manner. They started on time and finished within the two days as promised.

He came out immediately. He was very nice and professional but his estimate was very high.
